I was jigging and spinner fishing at small rivers in New York during spring (early May, 2014). I started by spinner fishing in a flooded river with a big Mepps aglia long plain, and then I moved to another small river and started jigging 1/16 oz. bucktail jigs over a drop-off before spinner fishing at the river mouth at night. I ended up catching some walleye, some smallmouth bass, and a brown trout before leaving.
