When I tighten the castle nut on my new tie rod ends the hole for the pin didn't line up it was at least a half inch below. Did I tighten to much? Seems like there would be lots of slack where the hole is for the pin.

What are torque specs for the jam nut on the inner tie rod?

Put a washer on it.
