Skyrim: Top 5 Dragonborn DLC Secrets You Probably Missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 сер 2024
- Skyrim is a game known for being filled with Easter Eggs and tiny details Bethesda left behind, many of which are still being uncovered to this day. The Elder Scrolls 5’s third and final DLC, Dragonborn, carried on that tradition and maintained the incredible attention to detail that made Skyrim so thrilling. Being the game’s largest expansion, Dragonborn successfully delivered the massive, well-crafted world players expected and crammed with the subtle references and Easter Eggs so many of us have grown to love. So today we’ll be taking a look at my top five Dragonborn DLC secrets you probably missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

I want a mod that when you start the game, nate say "Hey, how's it going guys, it's nate here." Everytime you open your map, Nate says "Skyrim is a very big game" and when you kill anyone, Nate says "Murdered to death"
Rex Theti Rannos or maybe when you kill someone he says “and they’re not talking”
It would be good for the first five minutes but then after about twenty I would have probably had a brain hemorrhage
Someone, PLEASE make "murdered to death" into a shout.
No we him in Skyrim as the traveler of knowledge
@@TaikaJamppa Nate follower when
"Hence the reason Neloth is able to feature levitation magic"
Like a silly empire rule would stop a Telvanni wizard from doing anything anyway. :)
Like any rule would stop Neloth
He'd create a whole new illegal spell just to tell the law to fuck off
This exact line of thought is why that lore reason for no flying is actually pretty weak. Since when does anyone follow the laws? There is a guild for murder. There is a guild for theft. So many people either openly or secretly worship Talos. Like there is a lot of content based around rule breaking, it makes no since that everyone just casually follows the no flying rule.
Yeah, the "levitation act" is absolutely retarded. Necromancy is illegal too - doesn't stop seemingly countless people from engaging in it. The Telvanni could not have given any less of a shit about some toothless decree by the White-Gold Tower.
If you started flying you'd get a lot of attention
Dragons would give those guards from Oblivion a heart attack. I can see dozens of them chasing after one dragon shouting "Stop! You're breaking the law!!!"
@superpooperawesome gaming Thanks, man!
Morrowind has many secrets and a few questions some of Elder Scrolls history, like what really happened to the Dwemer. If you explore Morrowind and do some searching and reading, you learn that many groups and many people believe many ideas of what happened to the Dwemer during the battle of Red Mountain. You also learn that the Nerevarine was murdered. By whom? If you play the DLC Tribunal, it gives a hint or who did it. Note, it also suggests Vivec lied about the History of Red Mountain. As for Dwemer, some of the theories you may discover, Dwemer didn't die they merged into another group, they removed themselves from our time=line, they removed us from the original time like, they were wiped out by the Tribunal, or they never left and History of the Battle of Red Mountain was a possible hoax as told by Vivec (One group, who claimed to be there says it didn't happen that way). That's just one, Morrowind has many secrets and some of those have secrets to that secret.
Correction: Those Guards from oblivion would give the dragons a heart attack
Would be interesting to see

All of Tamriel lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Dragons attacked. Only the Dragonborn, master of the Thu’um could stop them. I bet Skyrim's still gonna be popular and continue to get new mods even after Elder Scrolls 6 comes out.
Especially if Bethesda will screw it up like Fallout 76, when I heard, over a year or two ago, that they're planning to use Skyrim's not-well-aged engine, I've seen some red lights.

@@mako4268 Personally I'm killing any hype I feel for any game, despite wanting the best for each game, this includes The Elder Scrolls VI; I want to have a great time exploring High Rock, crafting new gear and using new spells.
@@mako4268 eh I mean the modding community's great and all but at the end of the day, Skyrim is Skyrim. Nothing will change Skyrim's God-awful combat. Or its terrible main quest. Ah the great collapse. That would make some sense.
Solstheim first separated from Skyrim many thousands of years before the great collapse, though, during the dragon war
@@birdiepitchfeather63 really? Now that sounds interesting! Any lore that covers how it separated?

I'll have to set a counter-argument to the 'secret war' secret: firstly, Solstheim is implied to be a direct Imperial holding in Bloodmoon, *not* part of Skyrim from the perspective of the Empire, and secondly, trying to capture the island and remove the Imperial fort wouldn't necessarily be done by direct military force. There's no other references to this event elsewhere, it is true... *except* that we hear of King Thian of Solitude annexing "several former Imperial fiefs" and "sponsoring exploratory missions even farther from the mainland into the misty waters of the Sea of Ghosts" in the Third Edition Pocket Guide, published shortly before Oblivion.
There is also a few Imperial forts and things on Solstheim. So you can clear them out and get the loot to sell to the smith in Raven Rock also can buy a good amount of Stalhrim and Stalhrim items from him.
You guys should try sex
It's a very tangible possibility that Solstheim is moving. Think about it, it used to be a part of Skyrim's solid landmass, but then it broke off because of Miraak's fight with the Dragon Priest and got pushed so far away from Skyrim, so maybe it just never settled down after that, maybe it's not tied to the tectonic plates as tightly as every other landmass is.
When TES VI comes out, thanks to this channel, I will instantly get some small nuances and details! This channel is so awesome for keeping one of my favorite games alive, even if i'm too lazy to turn on my pc and do so myself. I love this so much!

Hi, Nate! I really enjoy your videos. I have noticed that only when I watch your videos on my iPad, I need to change the resolution down to 480p because any higher resolution will stop playing and just display the spinning icon.
I would not bother you about this, but it happens consistently on your latest videos but not on any other channel. I never experienced this in the past. Did you start doing anything differently in the last few months?
I would blame my device, but yours is the only channel that requires me to lower the resolution. Most others play at 1080p or 720p just fine, but yours play for a few seconds then stay stuck and won’t play. This never happened before.
I am not complaining, just trying to solve the mystery so I can enjoy your videos in all their full resolution glory. Your voice, sense of humor, editing skills, and attention to detail all make your videos top-notch productions. Please keep up the good work! Thank you very much!

Hey Nate! Hope you see this, really love your videos! Yours and FudgeMuppets have really kept me in the game for the past 7 years.
Anyway, the reason Solstheim moved was because of the fight between Vahlok the Jailor and Miirak. Legend specifically states that their battle split the island from the main continent of Tamriel from their sheer power. So that’s why Solstheim is no longer a part of Skyrim

that ESO map isn't completely true, the map that came wit the "Imperial" edition (I think that was what it was called.) it has it where we see it in the modern maps.
one time whem i was recruiting Sven for a quest, the dialogue when he was recruting he said "i won't think master Neloth would mind if venture while" i don't know if its a glich,a mistake or even on purpose.
Sounds like a glitch, why would Neloth and Sven like each other?
Sven and neloth’s apprentice in the creation kit both use the voice type of youngmaleeager, so it is a bug, some of the followers I’ve made have had that happen, too(I’m a part-time Modder)

Yay more Nate!!!!😊 I love watching Nate's videos they make my day better no matter what
The reason that mage that just flies in vanilla Skyrim is because levitation was banned and probably only heard stories of it happening. Hence why he attempted it
Was solstheim the part of winterhold everyone says "droped off into the sea of ghost"? I mean what are the chances of a moving magical island and part of a city "disappearing"...eh?
Morvayn might have been flagged as essential, but the "I join you in death, father" line was still used. When you kill Vendil Severin, he says the line.

It would be cool if miraak’s robes were renamed to “Dragonborn robes” so that the player could go to miraak and show they were a fully realized dovahkiin. When unlocking the robes, it’s renamed to “*insert player name*’s Dragonborn robes”.
Just got the legendary edition!!!! So exited for this!!!
Ice cold Sujama?
*Goes to the Drunken Netch*
When Miraak and Vahlok battled, their battle was so fierce and intense that the very ground ripped and teared resulting in the formation of the island. Perhaps the same forces are still acting upon it thanks to one of the laws of motion. An object will continue in a direction unless another force acts against it. I believe that the island is actually floating in a way. The island could be it's own tectonic plate. Since the battle was so powerful, nothing as of now can stop the island in its tracks, (except maybe the dragonborn or super magic) just slow it down until one day it no longer moves.
I didn't explain that as well as I wanted but that is my theory. The island was pushed by Miraak and Vahlok's battle, the island became it's own tectonic plate and is floating on the molten core, drifting ever further thanks to papa Newton.
Just the way you said Louis Beauchamp... It made me laugh so hard! 😆( i'm francophone, that's why 😉)
Lol right. I took a few French classes in high school and college so I got a chuckle out of this. 😂

You know, about your Solstheim one about the nords, I think more is mentioned in Oblivion by Neville the Redguard from the Mystery Murder quest on the Dark Brotherhood. And it’s also mentioned by Nels the Naughty during the same quest, hinting the local Nords and Imperials themselves are at War. We also see that Neville and Nels are both very hostile towards one another for that reason as well. I recently played through Oblivion again and caught that detail, so it may be an oversight on Bethesda’s part of who was involved in that war.
Edit: Oh you do mention the difference between the Nords and Skaal, lol I hadn’t seen that yet. However it’s still a notable dialogue I brought up, as Nels and Neville were both in Solstheim during the fighting and getting PTSD from the other, Nels having watched his Dark Elf daughter die by vagabonds despite an Imperial fort being close by, and Neville having fought Nord locals who were revolting. Great video! Always happy to watch!
#2 could be an early reference to an already in development Skyrim, more specifically to the Civil War questline
Here's a detail I bet most people have missed. Did you know that the guy who voices Miraak in the Dragonborn DLC also voiced Paladin Danse in Fallout 4?
Am I the only one that gets random loading issues with Nate’s and only Nate’s videos?

3:50 you may not hear that out of the counsels mouth, but you do get to hear it out of vendils mouth though after killing him in the 'served cold' quest actually
Ok, it's been a bit since I played morrowind, but I'm fairly sure for the patchwork airship quest, you're supposed to find the captains journal, and then solve a riddle, and find an amulet that makes the mage persuasive, but also get a rash or something.
