I wanted to hang my 43” tv in my metal roofed gazebo and came across your video. I was trying to figure out the best way to do it. Had no idea about the threaded rivet tool. Bought it at Harbor Freight and within 30 minutes had the tv hung. Thank you for this video.
This was a great idea and set of instructions. Not quite everything is self-explanatory, but anyone can figure it out. I bought a different rivet tool since the one you posted is no longer available and was disappointed with the sparse instructions and lack of a storage box for it, but was able to get the job done.
Thanks for sharing. I used the ZeboZAP that straps on the vertical post. Pasted some duct tape on the screen and slit through to put the straps through.
Great video!! I got the same tv mount and rivet tool you suggested from Amazon .It was perfect for my 43 inch TV in my 12x 10 steel Gazebo! Thanks so much!
That was a very helpful video. Just one critique. It’s a gazebo not a pergola. Pergolas have intermittent openings in the roof and gazebos have an entirely closed in roof. I only mention it because it was a little misleading when searching TV installation videos for gazebos
Question DIY guy if you wanted to mount a 50" in that corner do you think you would have to move that mount up the channel further to accommodate the wider tv?
Great install! Question. With that mount, would it be possible to pull the TV forward and up until the screen is essentially flush with the underside roof for added protection when not in use?
Hi, Great video just had a few questions. What bolts did you use to mount the bracket in the rivets. How do you determine what’s the best rivets to use for the mount or tv you’re trying to hang?
I am going to help my uncle put up a TV in his new canopy gazebo hexagon. He has top horizontal connection pipes that are for hanging items. There are three pipes, top two and one below, aligned with one. We were able to hang an outdoor fan with the side arms slipping right into the 3 hanging pipes. So am looking for a VESA mount that would do this.
I forget the bit but I used an M6 river/bolt combo. Went to the local hardware and pickup up some M6x1 or 1.25. Depends how big your frame is and a couple washers. Just match up the bit to the river size.
This video is exactly what we have been looking for. Bought the same rivet nut tool on Amazon. Do you recall what size rivet nut you used and what size drill bit you used for that rivet size? We are having trouble finding the right size drill bits per the chart that came with the tool.
Appreciate the video as well. Ordered everything off your links, got a 43 inch TV for $160. I've seen alot about how much better an outdoor TV is, but was wondering if you had anymore suggestions to protect the TV?
Thanks for sharing. Can you please tell me what size screws did you use and what size Rivet nut did you use for the holes and what size drill bit? Did you use? Thank you.
Great video thanks We have a metal pergola/ gazebo too but the bar in the roof is only about 1/2 inch thick and it's right up on the exterior roof. Do you think the NEU MASTER Rivet Nut Tool, will support a 65 inch TV? thanks, any suggestion? john
I was all set to install the mount you used on my Purple Leaf gazebo and realized that the triangle roof pieces have a lip that is going into the channel I was putting rivets in. Does your gazebo not have the roof pieces sitting in that channel you mounted too? I stopped my project shy of drilling.
My BJs brand does not have this. The panels sit on top of the frame but it does not act as a channel. The holes do not go through the top either so no worries on mine.
Gosh, I've been struggling with trying to figure out how to mount the TV and speaker mounts in the exact same spot you did! I was trying to find "shallow" toggle bolts or something, but couldn't find anything that would work with just a 3/4" clearance! This rivet tool seems to be the trick! What size rivet did you use? Going to pick one up on Amazon ASAP! Thank you!
I wouldn’t use this on wood, what they do make are wooden rivets that screw into a pre-drilled hole that then allow you to add a bolt. Just search “wood rivet”
I just put up a similar Gazebo yesterday. You used a 32 inch tv...are you happy with the tv size or do you wish you went bigger? Im debating what size to mount up.
I originally purchased a 43 but decided to take your advice and do a 32. It turned out great! It’s just the right size. This video was really helpful…thanks!
Great video thank you so much. I bought everything that you depicted in your video but I got a 43 inch television but my question is my cover does not have a hole in the top for the ceiling mount. Do you have a link to the one that you bought it looks like your cover has a round hole for the pole coming down from the ceiling mount?
It’s in the description but here you go. Look around others may be cheaper but this worked great for me. Zoom Zoom Parts 13" Hand Rivet... www.amazon.com/dp/B08QVC5V8F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thank you was wondering how I was going to get a tv mounted on my pergola. You where a big help. Can't thank you enough. Kudos.

Do you have a video as well?
Is that comes with the bolts ?
Same here! I ordered a rivet tool the moment he said it. Can't wait to mount my tv!
Followed your instructions exactly, and the install was perfect. Thanks for posting this very detailed video.

ZeboZAP is so great. So easy and well designed .
@@LeslievilleGeeksthanks. Our patented no drill technology is the best gazebo tv Mount.
Awsome job this is just what im looking for. Thanks for the breakdown very professional.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for posting. I really like how you did this. I think the way you mounted this would work on my patio cover.
Great video!! I got the same tv mount and rivet tool you suggested from Amazon .It was perfect for my 43 inch TV in my 12x 10 steel Gazebo! Thanks so much!
So happy to have found your video. I'll be doing the same this weekend. I'm about to order the same items. Thanks for sharing.
Just finished this same setup. Thank you for all the info.
Do you have a video as well?
Awesome looks great! I have the same Gazebo. I’m planning on doing the same. Thanks for the video
Thanks for posting this video. Used the same process and it came out great! Thanks for the video and links

Exactly all the things I needed to know!!! Just ordered rivet tool on Amazon, thanks!
Best video ever! Saved for when I do mine!
Right on time!!! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome- Love this setup

Couple quick questions. What sized drill bit it did you use and what sized Rivet did you end up using?
I forget the bit but I used an M6 river/bolt combo. Went to the local hardware and pickup up some M6x1 or 1.25. Depends how big your frame is and a couple washers.
Just match up the bit to the river size.

I used the M6 river bit. For drill bit size I just held the rivet against my bits and chose the one closest.
What size drill bit did you use? I’m planning on doing this same setup this weekend.
Ty
Same looking to see what size drill bit was used and what size rivet nut what was used.
This is awesome, does it matter if the rivet tool is 13in compared to 14in? Also, what size bolt, and drill size?
No it shouldn’t matter, that has to do with arm length which didn’t affect me at all. I went with the cheapest kit that came with a case.
Appreciate the video as well. Ordered everything off your links, got a 43 inch TV for $160.
I've seen alot about how much better an outdoor TV is, but was wondering if you had anymore suggestions to protect the TV?
Care to update? Would you change anything?
Thanks for sharing. Can you please tell me what size screws did you use and what size Rivet nut did you use for the holes and what size drill bit? Did you use? Thank you.

Depends on the weight and bolt used to hold it. I may upgrade to a 40 or 46” but 65 may be pushing it.
What size screws are those going in the b a close of the tv I have the same mount but no screws everything that came with the mount are to big
@@Neighborly_Contentso what size drill bit, what size hole n what is the revit size???

The rivet/bolt was the M6x1.00. Be sure to get stainless bolts to prevent rusting.
Thanks for asking. I just had the same question.
Can this hold a 55inch tv I'm afraid that it maybe to heavy
Zebozap best for outdoor tv mount use and perfect dir gazebo
By doing this did it make your aluminum beam weak or did the weight of the setup start bowing the beam?
Not even a little bit. The beams on the BJs gazebo are quite strong, no sagging, bending, loss of rigidity noticed. The entire setup weighs maybe 20#.
Would the revit gun also be a good solution for a cedar wood gazebo?
I wouldn’t use this on wood, what they do make are wooden rivets that screw into a pre-drilled hole that then allow you to add a bolt. Just search “wood rivet”
I just put up a similar Gazebo yesterday. You used a 32 inch tv...are you happy with the tv size or do you wish you went bigger? Im debating what size to mount up.
Happy with the size, I could go 40” but I like that this doesn’t take up a ton of space.
I originally purchased a 43 but decided to take your advice and do a 32. It turned out great! It’s just the right size. This video was really helpful…thanks!

@@brettmead1527 It is the second link in his description.
I see the link to the TV cover now, but it doesn’t seem to have the right opening at the top for a top mount pole like in the video
Do you happen to have the link for the screen you used? I have the same gazebo.
I got a new tool to buy now. 😊
Worthwhile for small jobs. I’m gonna use it again for my fans.
So what size hole did u drill???
Depends on the river but I’ll be sure to update next time I make another vid.
Please send me the link for the ribbits gun kit please

Isn’t that a water channel to catch the rain and run it down to the corner where u drilled that hole?
No, water runs above in a channel between the panels for the roof. No water entry inside the frame.
ZeboZAP tv mounts straps without drilling upto 85inch tv.
Can’t use those when you have curtains on the gazebo. The curtains wrap across the posts so the mount would be behind the curtains.
Yes that’s my problem too the curtains !
Where did you find the screens for the gazebo? :)
