Nice project but the solar lights can’t generate enough current for a bright light. I tried using them and ended up replacing them with hardwire lights. Huge difference.
My confusion is why do you not give measurements of where to place the jinga pieces on your scrap piece of wood that isn't really a scrap but the actual piece you're using for the project? Another question, You didn't paint the inside of the pipe. How is that going to reflect the light if the pipe is black?

My question is do you think the hot glue will hold up in the summer on the items that you didn't include E6000? I live in Texas our summers run about 105 degrees in the shade. The hot glue would melt & and your beautiful work would be ruined.
I came to the comments for this same reason. Texas heat will melt the hot glue. Also, areas more prone to freezing will freeze the hot glue making it not work. I've experienced things falling from both conditions... But with the proper glue this is a very nice idea.
Yeah being in Texas myself I asked this same question. I made the mistake once of trying to fix a dashboard with hot glue, in my car that was in a bunch of pieces. Not thinking that I was doing it in the winter (that 2 week cold period we get), that this would be a terrible idea later on. That dash melted and the pieces moved all around but stayed together. Only thing was, it wasnt a clean look anymore AND I couldnt open the compartment in the dash anymore, the one above the stereo Haha. Yeah, lesson learned on that one. Dont try to fix anything that will be exposed to the Texas weather and sun light with hot glue. Not my proudest moment.
