Hi Tony, I am watching a long time bro, Just wanted to say I love how things are working out for you with content and in life allowing you to travel. All the blood sweat and tears paid off.
Thank you so much! My night off and I am doing these steps the beginner ones. I am 60 yrs young. I dont want to stop. I love it already! You have a new subscriber! God Bless!
Hey Tony, Happy New Years. This episode is incredible and highly valuable. Your videos are bite-sized but without compromise on quality. On behalf of all those just beginning to learn boxing during the pandemic, thank you for all your superb tips.
I just had my first amateur match an this is where I come to look for help with what I need to work on next to my coaches, appreciate the help Mr. Jeffries
Seriously people, Tony is the best no nonsense online boxing coach there is!And he is also got a great sense of humor. He makes me laugh and that makes me less frustrated and want to try again. Watch some more of his videos. You will learn a lot. I did.
Thanks for your boxing tutorials. As someone who can naturally switch from southpaw to orthodox, and vice versa (I'm ambidextrous) these sorts of footwork drills are extremely valuable. It really throws people off for a second when you suddenly have the other leg forward, and as you know more than most, a second is all we need. Peace out bro. X
I have to say it - this has to be the best channel on UA-cam - whoever thought it would be possible to fit so much guidance into one short clip - this is pure genius 👍
Man I got me a majority leader the other day and I started doing those other agility ladder drills you showed me can't wait to see these ones I'm excited I'm going to be doing them all I bet you will be a badass boxer because of you bro thank you
Hey Tony, I enjoy your videos and I just made myself a homemade ability🪜 from scratch. Your video inspired me to add new drills to my fitness journey thanks mate, stay solid champ!🥊
Hey Tony. Love that video. So much to practice there. I do have another training question. I read a lot of different people, giving a lot of conflicting advice about strength training for fighters. Everything from using weights to chopping wood to callistenics to no strength training at all to ext have been claimed to be best for boxing and combat sports for power development. It's my understanding that Olympic teams have scientists who study training methods and would know the answer to that. So I would like to hear you on the subject.
Sam Langford, George Chuvalo. Both in their own hometowns unrecognized, yet everybody in Toronto and Nova Scotia knows the name MUHAMMAD ALI.....that’s a crime.
Hurt my wrist a little using heavy bag, Is there a video or tip on how to throw a strike correctly? Your videos helped me grow so much , thank you so much!
Thanks Tony. My feet are currently like an elephants however doing some of the simpler drills in this video will help me. I even played them in 0.25 speed to process them better but had to mute because your slo-mo voice was kind of spooky.
@@Tony_Jeffries Yes I box and I take lessons on a weekly basis, however, I try to adapt my box to the MMA and to self defense. Also I already subscribed to your channel
@@Tony_Jeffries thanks friend I really enjoy your videos and are helping me a lot to increase my box skills and to add more weapons in my skillset. Im southpath when I fight. Ill keep continue seeing your videos. Regards from Costa Rica
Nice video! I have a question. How do you read your opponent/understand their rhythm (anything to look for?) and any tips on doing it quickly? I'd really appreciate if you answered this question. Thank you for your time!
