I had to do it.
This was filmed before the latest earthquake in Haiti.

I've noticed Kurt's respect level too. He certainly has courage to venture into a place like Haiti being a paleface. But respect is everything. People will be more accommodating and most often treat you accordingly.

I'm Dominican and I usually see a lot of locals who do that with tourists here in Sango Domingo too, That's how they make money but from other perspective is like an angel is walking with you through all the danger you may face. He was a nice guy :)

Hey Kurt, Dominican here (Been watching/commenting on your other content can't stop watching since I discovered your channel) Just popping in to say that I haven't been to Haiti but my Dominican friend went to shoot a commercial for Prestige beer with a full G/E crew and with security and everything and he still told me that it was kind of sketchy compared to the DR. Just wanted to say I honestly don't know how you can move around carrying the weight of your massive balls!!! Best wished to our Haitian neighbors after yet another terrible disaster :( P.D. This video is about to blow up!

These local towns are the safest place in the world. I would not advise Kurt to go to the Capital of Haiti without protections. But, trust me the most serious crime you will find in these remote towns are people stealing goats.
I was afraid for him in DR, but relieved when he got to Haiti, the people watch up for the tourists specially the older people, and the young would not do anything when the older are there. I really got nervous for him when he was in DR
