The young man Carlos Luis, headed out that morning to go fish in order to provide for his family not knowing that on that day he would be blessed by meeting Kurt and bringing not only fish but a little cash for all of his family…. Carlos looks like a nice kid and I’m glad this happened to him!

40 glorious minutes, this stuff is better than Netflix, I’ve just ordered takeout and I’m about to indulge in this, I’m writing this before watching as I’m waiting for my food. This became my favourite UA-cam channel the second I found it, I mean I have the bell notification on, I’ve binge watched all of the videos. I love it so much. Thank you, Kurt for blessing us with your adventures. In this social media space with content filled with luxury videos about this and that, this channel shows us just how much beauty there is in the world when you open yourself up to it fearlessly.
    Stay safe, Kurt.
    You deserve all the success.

You have to find a balance. What Kurt’s doing seems appealing but is also quite dangerous. He gets away with it cos he’s a strong man who is friendly, speaks Spanish and has a camera - which can scare people off as they think he’s live-streaming or something. You got to find a point where you feel comfortable. Doing what he’s doing isn’t for everyone and it’s probably best you should have a travel partner, have guides etc

This a reminder of how much we take for granted. Yet at the same time, despite what we think is lacking from those villagers' lives, they are still able to make room for joy in their lives. They raise their families with love and work for their food. It's not all that different from us. Sometimes I feel like all the luxuries and privileges we have just allow for more time to squabble over nonsense politics and compete over attention from strangers on social media. It's more time to wallow in mental illness and feeling sorry for ourselves. In the end, hard work keeps you focused on what really matters. Those villagers, and Kurt, have already figured this out.

Wow. This is real tourism, getting to know the people, moving away from the 'tourist routes.' Bravo. You learn more by watching these videos than you ever could in a class or watching TV.

I thought that at first, but then I went back and looked all of their faces when he took out the money. I couldn't tell what they were feeling, but it seemed like complicated emotions. Look at 38:14 that is joy on their faces. Then 38:26. What emotion is that. It looks like a mixture of confusion and discomfort. I wish I knew. No one is smiling. Maybe just embarrassment. I don't know.

The one thing I love about you kurt is you really want to experience the world, you actually carried that woman's water and visited the boys family, man you really are down to earth and I love that you want to experience even the smallest things, it's crazy how you dont use your money to make yourself seem better than others, you seem to want the real thing. What money is really about; opportunity. You give it easily and want to give more. Best of luck and I hope to see more! Stay safe bro !
