We have put together this self build camper van tutorial to help and assist you on fitting an underslung water tank to your Vw transporter.
This is a fairly difficult job to do on your own, however with an extra pair of hands and by following this video you will have your under slung water tank fitted to your vw transporter in no time.
We will include a link below to purchase this exact tank for your vw transporter and it fits a t5 t6 and also a t6.1, the kit it’s self comes with pretty much everything you need other than some sikaflex to seal everything a little better.

Hello would it be best to fit a rib bed first or can I do either way around many thanks

I’d put the bed in first just in case the bolts end up where the tank is.

No shamefully they’re not, I did advise the customer on having better brackets fabricated.
Unfortunately he didn’t want the extra expense.

Would it fit in a 4Motion? I suspect not because of the tailshaft and axle. Is there any tank available that would fit?

I don’t think it would fit unfortunately and I haven’t seen a specific tank for the 4Motion.
