After cutting the floor bolts, are there any issues to going back to a non-swivel or single seat base?

Fitted mt swivel to a t6, very stiff had to loosen the center bolt and grease the plate, slightly better but not as slack as the video shows. Hits the side of the van and the hand break at the same time. I bought the hand break lowering bracket, which I cannot use as the seat hits it. Have I gone wrong?
