I like that this channel is growing this guy deserves it. He served to protect us and now he entertains us with his awesome story telling. Much appreciated sir.
This reminds me of the time I called the cops about an intruder. I was home alone at night and I hear a noise. I go to the spare bedroom and it sounded like somebody was trying to pry the window open. I couldn't see outside because of the curtains and there was no way I was going to open the curtains because I was sure I would see a person staring back at me. The noise was loud and I could hear the window shaking in the sill. I called the cops. They show up and I told them the noise was at the back bedroom window. Through the curtains I could see the police officer's flashlight moving around outside. Suddenly the officer made a surprised yelp and then he laughed. He comes back and told me the biggest raccoon he has ever seen got halfway under my house and got his big butt stuck and it was trying to get dislodged and that was shaking the siding and the window. The animal got loose just as the officer came around the corner. It was a small town and I got the nickname of "The Raccoon Lady".
I literally just knocked out 22 hours of driving from Texas to Illinois and back narrated strictly by @MrBallen and all his wonderful, creepy, strange stories and wouldn’t have had it any over way! Salute to you sir and TY for your military service and keeping me company on my drive!!
You're lucky. I have an even longer drive coming up and Ive already watched 90% of his stuff here at home ☹️ Then again, not sure sure Id like to sleep in a truck in the rockies listening to his stories lol.
He's amazing I agree. It helps me get through the days sitting in this office , once I've heard enough of drivers crying I just slip on the headphones and let voice mail handle it.
John the fact that you went to stay in a cabin for 2 weeks in the middle of the woods after reading and researching all the stories you do is AMAZING to me lol
Easily has become my favorite channel on UA-cam. Dude should have his own show. No actors, recreations, nothing. Just him, screen behind him and story. Perfect.
I know exactly what this was. George, if that be his real name, was a sufferer of clinical lycanthropy, and knew it. That cell in his cabin was where he would shackle himself when he was due to flip out. Because CL doesn't mean you physically turn into a werewolf - you psychologically go feral, essentially 'return 2 monke', and because there's a total psychological disconnect between furtive man and feral monkey, you can perform great feats of physical strength because your adrenal system is always keyed and ready to stim your bloodstream like an octane fuel-injector in a car engine.
It make sense I mean even if he was wear wolf he would have changed into one .but he wasn't remember the woman said that it was a human face that she was seeing.
Mine dismissed me seeing a mouse. I saw my 5 year old cat playing , what I thought was his socks, *didn't have my glasses on*, till I saw a long tail. He was at work. She took *that tailed sock* to my bed, and played for another 20 minutes till it disappeared under the bed cover. I called him, he was at work. He said, I imagined it. He came home at 3 ish, went straight to sleep since he goes to work very early. At 8 pm, he looks at me, you're not going to bed? I'm like uh unhhh. So he got his friend from next door, stripped the whole bed, and emptied under, took out the suitcase and few boxes, said, see you imagined it. I said until I see it slither away or I see a body, I'm not sleeping in that bed. It wasn't going to wait around for you till midnight to come home and look fot it. Over the next 4 days, she stalked under the cooker/stove and brought the rest of the family, she killed like 6? I think they were babies. Left them all in my feet. I videoed all of them, showed him, I said did she imagine them all???? I slept on sofa downstairs for weeks after that, I wad mortified, her bringing all of them and leaving in my feet. If she'd bring one to that sofa I would've slept in car after that. Luckily she keeps my house clean of rodents. ❤❤❤
Let's not forget that Dennis is a true definition of ride or die cause all it took was one phone call about something weird going on at a friends house and without question he replies "ill be there in a min" *with a gun* ......An American werewolf in London *pun intended*
@@360.Tapestry maybe but I do have ONE friend that is like this. And we don't even talk everyday. Still they coming and they don't ask many questions until they get to me. @@360.Tapestry yes because the older I got I realized that I don't have friends well just one the rest are associates. A friend should be someone you can trust, rely and depend on at any given time. Most ppl suck. Real ppl are the last of a dying breed
George was transforming into some kind of creature, probably a werewolf, and built that shed to keep himself locked up. That's honestly the first thing that came to mind after watching this story.
Literally exact same thought. Don't actually believe in werewolves of course, but if everything stated in the story is true then this is clearly the most likely scenario haha. Maybe I do believe in werewolves...
That’s exactly what I was thinking “Maybe he was detaining himself” like the responsible werewolf that he was. Deep down he was a really nice guy and he knew that he has this here condition. So at night he locked himself up in his makeshift cell all the way up till the morning. “Well how’d he get out?” Right? You ever see a werewolf use a set of keys didn’t think so. Not ENOUGH evidence for you? Well how about the fact that dogs chase cars? When they finally catch up they don’t know what to do so they start gnawing at the tires. Well good ol’ George felt that it was his responsibility to fix a tire here and there, and that’ll make up for his nasty little habit.”
Definitely a shape-shifter. I'm originally from Central America and I heard and experience an encounter like this. My family (the elders)would tell stories of people who would actually transform into animals. They were consider witches or warlocks that would make rituals like this and become animals themselves. It was even said that if one was injured they would never be able to change back to humans. I appreciate your stories Mr. Ballen. You are an amazing storyteller.
Why would a shape-shifter waste away 8-12 hours a day changing tires? To keep appearances up? Just asking for a friend. It just seems like such creature would have better things to do.
Maybe he needed money. He had to buy the land that the cabin was on. He had to buy the things to make a "safe room". Apparently he didn't need to buy food, but having a job might be a good cover, in addition to giving him what he needed. I had been wondering the same thing, and that's all I could come up with.
@@jabibgalt5551maybe this shape shifter just wants to be human & try having a normal life. Can you list the better things that a shape shifter can do? Because to me that's kinda limited, all they can do is stalk the woods. They can't go to Disneyland or go to the beach lol
Oh my lord. I am laughing so hard at this. I spit my drink out. Julia you are one funny person. And true you have to definitely be a fan to have known what this meant.
This story reminds me of my grandfather times . He was a doctor and living inside a village , with my grandma and my mom and her 3 other sisters. Those time in India were when thief's used to stalk the rich and then involve bandits and used to kill all the family members and take their belongings. My grandma had a sense that somebody was watching their house every night and she informed my grandpa . Those times were when there were no connecting street lights and forests used to cover the villages. Only certain government employees were provided with power, fortunately my grandpa being one . This was during 1970s. My grandpa , no questioned asked set up hidden electric fence around the house the next day . So the fence was built on the top of fence of small copper wires , so at night it was not visible . True enough 2 nights later they heard a crashing sound in the middle of night , went out to see a person lying down with signs of electrocution . Called the villagers who catched him down and waited till police arrived the next day . Surprisingly he was quite well known for not getting caught and had killed 4 family members and robbed them off with his bandit friends. So trust the female instinct , my grandpa's word !
@@CrimsonDHero Oh man, thats an excellent point! Then every morning, once the sun was up and he was back in human form, he would just shit the key out and dig through the turds to find it. Since he was a mechanic, everyone expected his fingernails to be dirty anyways! It almost makes too much sense!! Lets just hope he kept that key separate and not on the same keychain as his house key, the back door key, the laundry room key, the gate key, the safety deposit box key, the PO box key, the key to his ex-girlfriends house, the Pontiac Aztek key and the Viper alarm fob. Hopefully he just had the "Protected by Viper" stickers on his car and didnt actually have the alarm system, so he didnt have to choke down that fob every full moon; that is, if he didnt keep that key separate.
@@Raccon_Detective. I totally think you are correct. I never really thought the concept of werewolves to be legitimate. But this story made me a believer!

i mean for this specific story, beyond what the police found in that empty cabin, George is dead. So nothing new will happen, and there will be no closure. However i think its safe to say George was a real life werewolf, or he had some strange creature chained up in his house and then it just disappeared, however i think its more likely George was the creature.
update: Diane has been slowly adding more and more arsenic to his eggs every morning and he cant figure out why he is getting weaker and weaker but he is too much of an ass to admit it, so his pride will eventually be his downfall.
Werewolves theory? I came to the same conclusion, my discord is the same as my username (ryan_wolfcraft) if you want to talk about paranormal theory's.
He was a werewolf, it all lines up, the orange eyes, the isolation, the giant feet, the climbing onto the house, the metal room with chains so he didnt hurt people, and when he was at their window, he probably couldnt lock himself up in time or he broke out of the chains
Vanessa Davila nah I don’t think it was a SW no offense Vanessa but people always give SW way more credit than what they deserve I’m from Oklahoma and I’ve pretty much heard everything you can about SW so this is definitely not a SW Hollywood and UA-cam have made SW to this terrible evil and for the most part most are but the part that’s wrong are SW are you usually protective of their area and that’s what a lot of them do and people always get Wendigos and sw confused I bet right now you can go on any UA-cam channel and type in SW and I bet you a picture/video of an emaciated, tall, slender, humanoid figure with or without horns will show up and that’s not a WW that’s a Wendingo sw usually don’t have an in between they’re either animal or human the only difference is most sw have short to no tails and have a almost a more humanistic face when I say that I mean they use more human characteristics like they may smile or frown or something to that extent but they usually don’t have an in between form so unless he turned into a deer or something then jumped off the roof and then turned back human when he hit the ground then that’s most likely not a SW and one more thing most sw usually only transform in between one or two animals if I’m not mistaken it takes too much of a strain for them to change into multiple different animals especially very big or very small ones
@Your Friendly Neighborhood Dealer I was around these kinds of people during my very uneventful time in the Army and they are so much more than trained killers.
one of the worst things any human being can do to someone they care about, is to discount what that person truly believes they saw, heard, and or experienced... i can't imagine my wife or girlfriend or anyone i care about, coming to me in fear and telling me they saw someone peering in at them, and then just blowing it off as pretty much nothing. so sad that people actually do treat other loved ones in such a way.
I've been on the receiving end of that discounted belief/disbelief. Trust me, it sucks beyond words. You just eventually end up not bothering because no one wants to listen or seems to care, and no, it wasn't anything to do with paranormal/freaky/whatever. It was over the behavior of an actual person. So yeah, give 'em some consideration.

George was a werewolf. He lived alone in an isolated cabin to minimize inadvertent casualties. He built a holding cell for himself in order to chain himself up when a full moon was coming to prevent himself from running amock. The times he was seen at Keith's house were times he was unable to chain up in time for one reason or another which explains the periods of months between sightings. The creature had super human speed and agility as well as strength to make the leaps it did and get away from the guys. No food in the cabin indicates he may have been actively trying to die of starvation to put an end to his curse especially since he knew that he had been found out and probably came to the conclusion that he couldn't keep things under control anymore and was afraid he would end up hurting someone. He stayed hidden at the tire shop out of shame for having confirmation by keith seeking him out that he had endangered others while transformed. Conclusion, George was a decent guy who tried to control his affliction and live as normal as he could. Once he discovered that his efforts were no longer enough to prevent him possibly hurting someone he decided to end it all in order to ensure the safety of others.

Well i have been asked to share a weird story as a Deputy Sheriff in Texas, at this time i am still in Law enforcement as a Sargent in a different agency. Anyhow recieved a call in the middle of nowhere regarding a poss. Burglary. Met caller who stated hi mothers home just next to his had all the lights on and both doors opened. Check the home and both doors open every light on. Clear the house no signs of forced entry. The owner stated his mothers dead and he keeps ot locked, deadbolts, and turns off all electric off in the house by a main breaker. I leave and 20 min later get the same call, same deal, the guys freaked and scared. I started thinking it was him doing all this so after i left i left and parked my unit darked out nearby the street, he didnt know i was there waoting to see if the guys was doing this. After ten min. The whole house lights all activated and i take my binoculars and see the door swing open hard. I hauled butt got out of the unit and start searching the house, identifying myself. No one there no signs of anyone being there. The back door is locked and no one got by me, small two bed house. Now im freaked, have dispatch call the caller and he is freaked, scared as hell, and he actually removed the outside meter globe. But who or what did this. The lights went on then the door opened right after and all the breakers are in the home. I said a prayer and left never got another call. Just a mystery
Loved the "what do you wanna do? Let's go after it." part. Loved how his friend didn't question him when he said let's go after it & just heads into the fray with him. Awesome friend. He's a great guy & my favorite thing about this story. Reminded me of a similar situation I was in where my friend & I had to go after something. Before we did there was a moment where I looked at him & he just said "let's go." Those are the times when you find out if someone is really your friend who then becomes your brother. I'll never have another friend/brother like him. Miss him every single day.
Camaraderie and rapport like that don't happen every day, you're super lucky to have experienced this friendship. They can happen more than once in a lifetime - hope you find this kind of connection again. I did like this moment too. However, I also found myself wondering whether it occurred to Keith that he had immediate belief and 'I'm in this with you' from his friend no matter how crazy the story sounded, rather than doubting his perception of reality...but he hadn't offered that to Diane - luckily no harm came to Diane or Raven due to his disbelief or isolating information. It would be great if this experience improved Keith's relationships with both his friend and his wife - it's a bonding experience with his friend, parts of which only he and his friend went through together. But perhaps by knowing how it felt to receive that support, he could be that friend to his life partner, too, and bring more fulfillment and happiness in his marriage this way. Great relationships aren't just about how rare and special that person is to us, but how special we can choose to be for someone who has opted to spend significant parts of their lives with us.

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (Islam being the final religion) are all from God, and their books in their ORIGINAL texts. Quran though, has never been changed since it was written over 1400 years ago, and is memorized cover to cover by 200+ million people currently around the world. There are 2+ billion Muslims, making Islam the fastest growing religion. God does not forgive people who worship man as God. Islam is basically, there is no God but Allah, and Muhammed is his (last) messenger, the 5 daily prayers. If one does these, he is a Muslim. Indeed Allah also loves the people who are patient upon him. Jesus spoke Aramaic, name of God translated to EELAH or AALAH in Aramaic. In the bible it explains how Jesus prostrated to pray and worship God, like Muslims do. Look up my profile on TikTok to understand all about Islam, as well as learn about a bunch of details of the scientific proof in the Quran. This entire planet is a spec of dust or less. Everything in the foreseeable universe falls under 1 sky. There are 7 and the ocean above it, that carries the throne of Allah. He doesn't need any of us, he is the ever-living. He is the king. We need him. If a person dies, his afterlife begins, and it is more emotional. How many people have died for thousands of years while their souls are in heaven or in prison, and their bodies are in graves. A door to heaven or to hell opens for them, so do not be careless with your time, do not be lazy in your work, and do not let Satan’s wishes take you to what he wants, and know that God created you to test you. Do not feel safe from God’s deception, lest you be one of the losers, and hasten to repent, be upright, pray your 5 daily prayers, and have good intentions, for you do not know when you will die, i.e., death. www.tiktok.com/@abdulaly0?_t=8j93JQpWEqh&_r=1
George must’ve been a fan of the strange dark and mysterious. He got his tale put into story format because that’s all John does and he uploads 3, 4, even 5 times every week. I’m sure he’d abuse the like button if he were still alive as well.
@Mustafa Mujic but how was he jumping up onto the roof and running through the woods faster than any human being could? I don't believe in werewolves I'm pretty sensible and I don't believe in fictional thing's like that but what are u supposed to think when u cannot explain the thing's he did that no human beings could possibly do??
Sounds like George knew his cover was blown and faked his death. So that means hes.... an Awarewolf? Lol I couldn't resist. Awesome content MrBallen, thank you!
Could very well be that he faked his death! But werewolfs don't exist and he didn't lock himself up, the chains were there to keep his food fresh! It's 100% a Draconian, a reptilian humanoid. They live among us, they can shape-shift, they eat humans and other animals. Children are a delicacy, that's why he was around the house and on the roof... he could probably smell the daughter from far away. So it also makes sense that there was no food or anything in his cabin. Have a look at this image, fits the description perfectly: nl.pinterest.com/pin/33847434684836617/

I have subscriptions to Netflix, Disney+ HBO, and just about anything you can think of but here I am binge watching Mr. Ballen instead. His story telling is so captivating, I’ve never been able to pay attention to anything for this long.
It helps they're unique stories and not some rehash of something that's been made a million times and then played by people who have about as much ability as a stone. Mr Ballen could be one hell of a narrator if a company ever picked him up. Should just take his current channel and push it more
@@Zigarius1123 He's been successful because he's been doing it himself, a big commercial company would ruin the good fruits of his work. Pay more attention.

Makes me think that George was a werewolf and had been chaining himself up and locking the cell so he couldn't get out to cause any damage when it was a full moon. It's definitely a scary story what ever happened.
Theory: George had a werewolf-type condition and was aware of his condition. He tried to keep his altered self contained himself by shackling and locking himself in when he knew he was turning but he wasn't always successful. The stalkings took place when he wasn't able to properly secure himself in time.
No doubt about it...George was absolutely a dogman/werewolf (so many things our gov't keeps hidden from us)...I'd bet my left nut that his eyes are usually more on the brownish side....but he had a 6th sense to him, and could feel when those two walked into the tireshop, and that's why his eyes went orangish when he came out of the shadows, cause their presence triggered his more primal side instincts, and worried his co-worker could notice if he came back out again, he just rolled it out from the darkness...also, notice the timeframe of the encounters...my guess, it matches up with certain moon cycles.
You can definitely tell his older stories from his most recent ones. His newer stories, he’s more comfortable and has mastered his craft at telling them. Any free time I have, I’m listening to his podcast or watching his videos on here or Facebook 😌
Happened to my great grandfather on his farm way back in the day in the 50s, my great grandmother woke him up talking about hearing noises, so he grabs his shotgun and he sees a man staring into his window by their bed, he shot him but the police didn’t find the guy for a few days. Terrifying story
Happened to me once. In the cabin in the middle of the woods, both others in the cabin were asleep. Woke up at 3 or so, saw a shape walk past the window, stop, and appear to look in. I was freaked the fuck out and figured I was dreaming, so I went back to bed. The next morning, my neighbour's door (place was empty) had been kicked in, and keys to my uncle's old car were in his truck's ignition. Turned out, two escaped prisoners from Vancouver had stolen a car, driven up into the woods, ditched the stolen car and tried to take another one. This was end of August 2019.
@R Pyeah my cat is a real freak. And it's fascinating that she only opens door when she knows it is unlocked. If i lock my door to my room she meows a few times if i unlock it she opens it herself
Just saw footage of a bear opening a door with his mouth. Right away, too- didn't take him any time to figure it out. He'd obviously done it before. It was cool.
I hate when I start watching/listening to Ballen tell stories. I don't even realize the time that has went by. I could listen to these all day and not even notice. Great story guy!
@matty kelly amen brotha. I’ve got a Para 1911 double stack. A few of those .45’s center mass ain’t gonna tickle. Which in this case would work good for a human but I’m sure if I couldn’t get a headshot then I would pray that emptying a clip in the thing would do the job
Studying interior design over 30 years ago I remember learning that uncovered windows at night had been discovered (in some research study) to be one of the most disturbing attributes of any interior space. Closing window coverings can be therapeutic - even if there is legitimate danger outside. Can't put a price on peace of mind - so buy the good window coverings people;)
That’s interesting and it makes a lot of sense. We have a very large window in our dining room, which faces our ‘woodsy’ back yard. If it’s getting dark outside, I CANNOT sit down to eat unless the blinds are all completely closed! I guess I feel a little more vulnerable (to predators, the enemy, etc.) while we’re eating. 😂
I actually have no covers on most of my windows. just the bedroom. I luckily have a big light in front of my house so i can see perfectly outside, I also live in the city. Which im really glad for now.
Seems like common sense to me, especially when the lights are on, you can't see shit outside unless your whole property is surrounded with flood lights. It is like driving in a bad part of town at night with the inside car lights on, telegraphing to everyone exactly what you are doing.
This reminds me of when I was a little girl of about 8, I would spend the summers w/ my Granny that lived in a cottage in a very wooded area. She had many rooms in the house and would rent them out. One man that she rented to was very friendly and as a 8 year old I of course loved the attention. The summer after he left her home I was staying with her and the room I was sleeping in was part of a sunroom- so full windows with the old school style crank open with the horizontal glass. I would hear movement at night and Granny would always say it was just animals since we often saw deer, bears, coyote and wild hogs. One night I woke up and her previous renter was looking at me thru the window. Of course I screamed and Granny came running with her shotgun, the man ran off but the next day she went to the police, turns out he had not given his real name and was a wanted criminal. She had lived in the country her whole life and never locked her doors but she did after that. This was 42 years ago and still creeps me out
I lived in a cabin in the middle of the woods in Sweden during the winter once (Im born and raised in Southern California 😂 but we went to visit my ex girlfriend's sister) We had a minimum of 10ft of snow outside all the time and you can't see ANYTHING except for total whiteout at night from the heavy snow when we were indoors... The nearest neighbor was 20 minutes away and me being a smoker they'd always make me go outside to smoke and if it was a clear enough night I got that same feeling of someone watching me from the beginning of the thick woods which was maybe 500ft from the front door at the most... On the other side of the house was a really long driveway to get to the house from the nearest road which was at least a mile away... So I know what you mean! At night in the room I stayed in was freezing because the only source of heat was from the fireplace and the water to the cabin was still being pumped from a well so if it rained or any snow melted the water would come out brown like dirt from the faucet and shower but I was told it was perfectly safe to drink and bathe in because there weren't any known parasites in the water... It was a very old cabin lol I would swear sometimes at night someone or something was staring at me through my bedroom window and what made it even more terrifying was being in Sweden I've heard all the stories of ancient norse monsters that walked in the woods all over the Scandinavian regions... Man that was one hell of an experience to say the least! 😬
George was the thing. That room was the room he locked himself in so he couldn't hurt anyone but from time to time he could not get himself in there fast enough 😳
I thought he was stalking Keith's wife so he can try to kidnap her and lock her up in that cell, and I also believe that he may have had several other victims locked up before, and he was looking for a new victim. I wish we knew what the answer was though.
Everyone’s talking about werewolves and I’m sitting here like maybe George is just a creep with big feet trying to abduct this guys wife and keep her in a cage.
Definitely possible, but at the same time, guy had countless opportunities to do so. Why wouldn’t he have just done it one of the many times she was alone in the cabin? And what was the scratch marks, as well as the wet dog smell? I mean if he was a crazy creep I guess he could just be spending time scratching the walls with a knife, but still. Not to mention, jump 2 stories down and still be fresh enough to get so much ahead of his chasers to circle around them without them noticing. Although I probably was fairly fit, considering his job. Not saying it’s wrong, I mean even as a strong believer, a werewolf is a bit of a stretch compared to just some crazy guy, but I definitely feel like something is missing

You should have no fear of telling people your fears of the dark. Just because women and children express this the most doesnt mean big or little brave men cant have the same fears. It is human nature to have all humans somewhat reluctant to go into the dark, at any time. Those who do, just know they have to. You can walk from your front door to your driveway feet away to your car and if it's real dark, that thought will be part of that journey. Like when all the power goes off. That first feeling we have is universal for all humans.
Same here, I'm 38. I wont go the hall of my own house at night, and ask my wife/kids to get me some water if i need it. Its something psychological I think. I cant help but be stressed at the thought of going in the dark ( not totally dark as the night bulbs are on all night ) but still.. I dont know. but i have had bad experiences in life with these unexplained things
Behavior In Action the final section and the intro, but it doesn’t mention anything (that I saw) about the Greens screen, sound effect, or flashing the photos in and out of frame
I’m watching this from the deck of my house in the middle of the woods in Pennsylvania, in the dark as a thunderstorm rolls in. That’s my idea of a perfect pairing!
My mom and I believe that ol' George was a werewolf, and that he was staulking around their property to A: Make sure he hadn't done anything to the family and B: was trying to scare them off so he wouldn't have to worry about potentially harming them on the nights he wasn't able to chain himself up in time.
What if there is something that runs in his family and affects different members of the bloodline at different levels . The eyes are just a trademark of his bloodline and he was not the one stalking the family . But instead he was keeping a family member locked up . A family member that was too severely afflicted by their bloodline to be left free . So he was their keeper . He protected the world from this person . His family . His only family . But maybe something went wrong and they escaped , killing him . Or maybe he felt his time coming and let them be free . Maybe they are still out there . Deep , deep in the woods .

Husband decides to ignore it, KNOWING the guy's been looking in the windows at his wife and child? How awful. Edit to add: Mr. B. does an amazing job of never being judgmental in any of these videos. I'm guessing that it's difficult sometimes (as with this one!)
In this situation with people seeing human height glowing eyes in the dark, with human eyes not being reflective even at night, and said thing skittering around your hours multiple days...ya it can sound like a fantasy or some fit of hysteria. Most arent willing to accept or look into something like this seriously. Because of this, a lot of people dont immediately react in panic. They try to explain it away with easy answers.
@@patricklang7162 there’s one other that he shows emotion in that’s awesome (obviously!) - it’s about his own paranormal experience when he was a teen.
Well, he did check it out the first time. Not finding anything, he wrote her concerns off. But it was only after that first check. Regardless, I'm not very impressed with how he handled the situation either.
My brother wouldn't believe his wife when she said she saw a man and a woman dressed in 1800s clothes standing in their side yard. They live in an isolated wooded valley in Pennsylvania. Only one other neighbor can see their side yard. She would tell him for years she saw those people, but they would be gone when he went to look. He did not believe her until their 17 year old neighbor boy asked him, "Who are those people I see standing in your yard from time to time?" Then my brother tore down the small barn that was in that yard, and the apparitions never returned.
@@talktalk2412 That part could have been chalked up to her imagination or perhaps some kind of eye-wear. I'm just saying he was a little too quick to completely dismiss her concerns.
We just got back from staying in a remote cabin in Red River Gorge,KY. In the middle of the night our 16yr olds ran up from the basement shaking. They claimed to have seen a ghost of a boy staring at them. They ended up sleeping on the floor of our room. When I came home I googled and found a few weeks before a guy had murdered someone at a cabin(not sure if it was that one) but it definitely creeped me out!
I have a extreme fear of being stared at from outside a window, like a primal fear of looking out a window and having someone look back at me, so this story scares me so bad. I got hella jumpscared at 4:53.. thanks Mr. Ballen
I hate windows at night, especially since the kitchen's one is right in front of the door when you enter it, and the fridge is a few feet near it, the only windows I used to not have trouble with were second floor windows when I was living with my parents in a house with three floors (Top, Ground, basement, before anyone think I'm rich).
I don't know why I do these things to myself. I live in the woods. I'm already kind of on edge on a day-to-day basis and yet here I am, listening to scary stories that will only invade my nightmares even more.
I'm beginning to notice a pattern with these woodland 'creatures' not just this video or this channel but with most cryptids they dont initially invade homes or forms of shelter but I can't even begin to understand why because they clearly want to get the people inside. If feels like to me that these creatures have very specific rules they have to follow, it's not that they won't break into homes it's that they can't for some reason. Something strong enough to leap from a roof a couple feet forward and then sprint away is surely strong enough to break a door down.
Sounds like George was a werewolf. Every once in awhile he didn't make it back to lock himself into the cell and went out looking for someone to play with.

@@crabbygramma5553 are you referring to the paranormal experience or was there another involving a stalker?
@@strangerthanfriction9016 it was a paranormal experience he had as a young teen at a family cabin with a couple of friends.
Great story. So infuriating in this and some other stories that have been covered where a husband dismisses his wife’s genuine experiences and fears.

George was transforming into some kind of creature, probably a werewolf, and built that shed to keep himself locked up. That's honestly the first thing that came to mind after watching this story.
Definitely my 1st thought so I 100 percent agree with your thought of old George being a werewolf.

I was thinking the same exact thing
The cage was meant for George himself. He was containing himself.
I bet u r right 100%
That’s exactly what I was thinking “Maybe he was detaining himself” like the responsible werewolf that he was.

A smart man. The electric fence was a great idea. Best wishes to you and your family.

one of the worst things any human being can do to someone they care about, is to discount what that person truly believes they saw, heard, and or experienced... i can't imagine my wife or girlfriend or anyone i care about, coming to me in fear and telling me they saw someone peering in at them, and then just blowing it off as pretty much nothing. so sad that people actually do treat other loved ones in such a way.

I've been on the receiving end of that discounted belief/disbelief. Trust me, it sucks beyond words.

Perhaps you’ll be together again one day
….I know what it’s like to miss someone every single day too….❤❤❤
@@artwithmamafairybreadd I miss so many people who passed or left. It definitely is grief 😔 God bless you 🙏 ❤
Camaraderie and rapport like that don't happen every day, you're super lucky to have experienced this friendship.

We honor Jesus as he was one of our prophets, but we worship God. Look up Mark(12:19) he called for oneness of God. And God is the one and only Lord.
Mark 12:29 "God is the one and only God. -Jesus
The same message was from Moses, Abraham, Jesus, and lastly Muhammed peace be upon them, and all prophets said this.

Poor George, being a werewolf seems like such a sad and lonely existence:(
I wonder what his autopsy revealed tho.
Not to mention the fleas
George being a serial killer sounds way worse and way more likely.
If he was a werewolf, then there should be more right? Wouldn't they have a pack?
@Mustafa Mujic but how was he jumping up onto the roof and running through the woods faster than any human being could? I don't believe in werewolves I'm pretty sensible and I don't believe in fictional thing's like that but what are u supposed to think when u cannot explain the thing's he did that no human beings could possibly do??
Sounds like George knew his cover was blown and faked his death. So that means hes.... an Awarewolf? Lol I couldn't resist. Awesome content MrBallen, thank you!
That’s awful. I love it
Hahaha :))
Have a look at this image, fits the description perfectly:

Makes me think that George was a werewolf and had been chaining himself up and locking the cell so he couldn't get out to cause any damage when it was a full moon. It's definitely a scary story what ever happened.
Wait. If George was chaining himself up, how did he end up at Keith and Diane's house all those times?
These were my thoughts exactly 😱
I think so too
LOL George was a murderer. Simplest answer is usually the right one.
@@Shastavalleyoutdoorsman Murderer who can jump 20 feet?
Theory: George had a werewolf-type condition and was aware of his condition. He tried to keep his altered self contained himself by shackling and locking himself in when he knew he was turning but he wasn't always successful. The stalkings took place when he wasn't able to properly secure himself in time.
Another theory: Keith is a POS.
Yeah...he was a psychopath who didn't want to be one.
Theory: Old George was a psychopath who chained up human beings down there. Good thing he's dead. I hope it was painful.
This was my thought! George was a werewolf...those creepy eyes stuck around in his human form.

Studying interior design over 30 years ago I remember learning that uncovered windows at night had been discovered (in some research study) to be one of the most disturbing attributes of any interior space. Closing window coverings can be therapeutic - even if there is legitimate danger outside. Can't put a price on peace of mind - so buy the good window coverings people;)
Thank you, my thoughts exactly. 😂😂😂

Right. It’s not so much the dark I’m afraid of, but the people who can be lurking in it.
You should have no fear of telling people your fears of the dark.
Just because women and children express this the most doesnt mean big or little brave men cant have the same fears.
It is human nature to have all humans somewhat reluctant to go into the dark, at any time. Those who do, just know they have to.

I can't imagine how lonely poor George must've felt having to hide his secret.
How lonely he would have felt regardless of being or not being a werewolf......

When I came home I googled and found a few weeks before a guy had murdered someone at a cabin(not sure if it was that one) but it definitely creeped me out!
@@andrewbecker9062 think about how scared they'd be to look up and see something they've never seen before in their cabin staring at them
I have a extreme fear of being stared at from outside a window, like a primal fear of looking out a window and having someone look back at me, so this story scares me so bad. I got hella jumpscared at 4:53.. thanks Mr. Ballen
Haha
My aunt has this same fear
I hate windows at night, especially since the kitchen's one is right in front of the door when you enter it, and the fridge is a few feet near it, the only windows I used to not have trouble with were second floor windows when I was living with my parents in a house with three floors (Top, Ground, basement, before anyone think I'm rich).

I don't know why I do these things to myself. I live in the woods. I'm already kind of on edge on a day-to-day basis and yet here I am, listening to scary stories that will only invade my nightmares even more.
any weird encounters you had there?
Do you have a dog? Might want to get one if not.
Me too...and then like clockwork, the second the video is over...the dogs ask to go out 😰😰😰
Lol same I live out in east tenn in the middle of the woods and hear shit outside all the time . Idk why I do this to myself
@@cavemanlovesmoke4394 well the Appalachians are just creepy to me anyways. Always have been.
I've known about this for several years. I completely believe every word of it!
We all need a friend like Dennis, AND, an Amazing storyteller friend, like MrBallen.
I want a friend like George. My own werewolf buddy.
My family and I practically think of Mr.Ballen as a friend now 🤣
I'm beginning to notice a pattern with these woodland 'creatures' not just this video or this channel but with most cryptids they dont initially invade homes or forms of shelter but I can't even begin to understand why because they clearly want to get the people inside. If feels like to me that these creatures have very specific rules they have to follow, it's not that they won't break into homes it's that they can't for some reason. Something strong enough to leap from a roof a couple feet forward and then sprint away is surely strong enough to break a door down.
I think they feed off of fear. Like they only scare people when they have plenty of opportunities to attack.
Maybe they're just curious...not planning on hurting anyone, just seeing what's there, netflix for woodland creatures.
The same thing with the strange "lights" in the woods
Adrenachrome?
Evil has to be invited in. Sometimes we do it inadvertently.
Sounds like George was a werewolf. Every once in awhile he didn't make it back to lock himself into the cell and went out looking for someone to play with.
Werewolf of Fever Swamp out here lol
@@thomasg2488 Goosebumps reference
@@sceptile7581 I think I'm the only person who read the Fear Street series instead of goosebumps! It's still RL Stine but Goosebumps gets all the glory! So sad.
@@stepford702 Yeah unfortunately both series have died in popularity
Or maybe had some kind of pet that was a werewolf
What I like so much about these just occurred to me. I sit here listening like it's a radio drama from 80 years ago. What an excellent concept... and I'm always entertained.
