Someone drowned in my pool
She told me she was breeding
Then slipped backwards downstairs
Someone died in that womb
I turned round to find
That miscarriage of justice
Someone drowned in my pool
I put my hands on the television screen
And prayed for salvation
Lubricated, lubricated my mind
Then waited for damnation
When the army of the Lord's at war
Foetus always calls the shots
Well, I got drunk on wet cement
Then waited for the hard word
And a full wood on the tubesteak
Grab a taxi... this one's over
Forget it till that tragic night
The 28th of October
If you can't stand posts
You better not dig them holes
Someone died in my room
She started to breed
So I had to get rid of her
Someone drowned in my pool
She told me she was fourteen
She fell backwards downstairs
Someone died in my room
She started to scream
So I had to get rid of her
Someone drowned in my pool
Someone drowned in my pool... in my pool

Blowing my mind, still going so strong after all those decades. I wonder what young JG would have thought when seeing himself with a harp on the stage and „classy“ people with huge hats in the audience.
every one of his +ensemble remake of his old stuff is actually a proper new song - now this is the way to make an actual remake and not just an homage
Sublime! So good to see some Wiseblood material live!
damn setlist for this show was crazy inspired. another great performance!
Please release your live performances. I really love these.
So amazing, sounds amazing wish i was there FA
Love it.
Amazing
one of the most amazing (ok, no most amazing) shows I've seen...thanks, uncle jimmy for this evening...i so miss flying to NYC on the spur of the moment to see a show
thx a lot JG
Morten I want my album back!
:)
eutansia...now!!!
Michael Barrymore's theme song.
I like this version but I think I enjoy the album version more, as the heavier accompaniment allows the piece to become more deliciously unhinged at the end.
Agree.
How does this muppet audience sit still? Surely Mr Ruin stuck 'em all in place. A "Scraping Super-Glue off the Bum" moment...
i think these arrangements work better for the newer songs.. not so much this one. if he just did stuff from LOVE and HIDE with these musicians it would be quite excellent
I couldn't disagree more. You had no idea what a blast it was seeing this material live with this ensemble, especially considering he hadn't played a lot of this stuff in over 25 years or so? I didn't think I'd ever get to see old FOETUS or WISEBLOOD stuff performed live again. I was lucky to catch both nights and this was an absolute delight. Worth travelling a few couple hundred miles to see songs I know and love performed in an entirely different way. I get they're not working for you, but man, you really had to be there.
wow. it's like with all the grit, distortion and energy removed it kind of sucks.
