This album radicalized me when I was 14; truly changed my life and the way I think about the world. Forever grateful to those who put this record together.

I was there. It was a truly amazing experience. The volume and intensity of the drums - so many drums. The way they got every single person in the place to dance. I feel so lucky to have been able to be there.
I was there too. But we got there late because I was waiting on my friends and we were up in the rafters and couldn't see very well. I wish I could go back and do it again.
I saw Shannon Funchess with Light Asylum like 13 years back without knowing who she was. I was moved with her performance & vocal power. It would have been wild to see her with the knife for stay out here.
So nostalgic watching this nearly 6 years after being there in person. It was brilliant. Björk was there that night in the VIP rafters. Amazing energy.
I saw this show in Chicago with a doomed love a very long time ago it seems now and I am still there, with you, doomed love, dancing together in that moment, you were already so jealous, you Taurus, you wanting to own me, me being free, but there was love and there was music there. Thank you Knife for all the music and more.
26:53 is for me the most WONDERFUL moment when the girl falls into dance in the most natural and beautiful manner possible. And all this in a Gorgeous ensemble of artistic Creation.
So ffffffffreaking gooooooooood!!!!!!!!! Olof and Karin, if you ever read this, you have saved my life over and over again. Thanks for all the music you made.
Omg. I saw them live about 20 years ago in Stockholm when it was Karin, Olof and the keyboards. Blown away by the way this evolved, with The Knife and later Fever Ray. They’re genious and everything they do is so arresting. You just can’t stop watching.
This is fucking beautiful. I love how they use a chorus of vocalists as substitute for the octave vocal effects, and put everyone at center stage, unlike so many groups who use backup vocalists. Reinventing these songs with this collection of instruments... such a fantastic tribe, and fantastic tribal performance. I was sitting here alone at 5am laughing gleefully at the "One Hit" segment. I wish I would have the opportunity to see The Knife or Fever Ray. They don't come anywhere near me.
This show is beautiful, primal, modern, fantastic. The use of lighting and the stage set up compliment the music very well. The common, asexual garb/costume brings the band together unlike most shows where there is one "star". Overall very refreshing and powerful.
Супер. Никогда ничего подобного не видел и не слышал. Из инструментов мне пятигранная труба очень понравилась и дудка -утка. Получил огромное удовольствие. Несколько раз пересматривал - 100 из 100. Огонь.
Please! The Knife share this piece of audiovisual magic art with the world, what a great show in this times of meaningless music. cheers from Colombia!!!
They represent themselves in a way to break the borders of paradigm of live concert, to make themselves in a position that they aren't the product to be consumed, they are part of the entire scenario with the public, through a statement where there's no focus in a star to be glorify or be fanatic. Karin Drejer isn't the Front Stage Person, they are constantly changing position confusing the crowd.
well, I am not even quite sure how karin and olof look. Even though I am a diehard fan and would have been removed from the audience after 10 minutes because of franatically screaming the entire time until I'd faint.
This is pure pleasure - I don't know what's having more fun, my ears or my eyes! It's just a joy, I can't stop watching it, as it's so uplifting. Thank you - keep being you!!!
PHENOMENAL!! I was fortunate enough to see this show at Electric Picnic, this just moves me to tears at times as it's just so wonderfully overwhelming. I'm in awe of all the performers, just amazing stamina, love, love, love you!!! Thanks for giving us this
As part of their 20th anniversary celebrations, The Knife held a Q&A session on Instagram on November 2nd 2020. A fan asked if they have "considered reuniting to make a new album", and their reply was "We built ourselves new studios last year, in Stockholm, we'll see what happens 🔮"
I was there! What a stunning show. Knowing they just had Iceland and then we would have to wait years (and are still waiting to see them again...) was so poignant. A brilliant celebration, but bittersweet.
The production on these shaken up versions is amazing, such a trip. Full of Fire, Stay Out Here, Pass this On, One Hit, etc etc... the whole show. I am not sure what the earlier shows of shaking the habitual where like but if they ended up with this then yeah... hats off to the knife, performers etc 🫶
"...and though conviction may not silence many boisterous disputants, yet, when any prevailing prejudice is attacked, the wise will consider, and leave the narrow-minded to rail with thoughtless vehemence at innovation." (Mary Wollstonecraft). This show is the crowning achievement, a summary of the whole array of concepts used over the years by two brilliant artists who refuse to go down in the history of music under anyone's terms but their own. The queer, socialist, postcolonial and feminist theoretical trajectories (to identify but a few), magnificently entwined, have just been embodied and enacted on the stage in everything from the way they move and touch, dance on their own and in unison, to the way the two original members of the band position themselves in relation to the rest of the performers, and down to the final credits which do not favour them over the rest of the crew. Watch and learn. This is a practical lesson from the truly avant-garde for "tomorrow, in a..." few centuries.
11:44 I am just so amazed, I can't believe what I'm seeing and hearing. I've always loved The Knife, but I have never seen this. What I would do to see that shit live...
Espetáculo de alta criatividade, show do caralho e eu só conheci agora em 2017. Adoro descobrir grupos que estão muito à frente da mesmice!! Parabéns!! Estou inscrito!
this feels like a post apocalyptic party, sounds very futuristic yet so primitive. they were always ahead of their time but with Shaking the Habitual they went very very far. after seeing this I understand and appreciate the STH sound style more.
Awesome to finally get to see this show. Had tickets to see it in Manchester, UK but they postponed then canceled the gig not long before splitting up =(
This is a totally different version of their performance, they altered it after the negative comments. When I saw them in Amsterdam there was much less live singing, but I loved it nonetheless!
I saw them live in 2013 and didnt walked out during the show, but i understand who walked out. We were at a Music Festival, and the band, being a great band with great music, and despite the dancing show was beautiful, the decision to use pre-recorded music for almost all (or for 100% ) of the show made it completely disapointing and underwhelming . If they had presented the show like in this video, probably less people would walk away, and it would probably be one of my favourite shows of all time. Unfortunately it wasn´t , and it became in a disapointing show
Wow - I didn't realize it was that extensive of a change over the course of the tour. Very intriguing - even when reading the interviews it doesn't sound as far removed, but that makes sense now too. Thanks for the input ya'll!

Wtf they didn't perform _Heartbeats_ ?
I was there. It was a truly amazing experience. The volume and intensity of the drums - so many drums. The way they got every single person in the place to dance. I feel so lucky to have been able to be there.
you were so lucky
I can only imagine & envy the ENERGIES in this Moment💫🤗💫
Oh to FEEL this‼️
So lucky

Feel this a lot. Hope you're well.
Damn near thought I wrote this in a blackout lmaooo I was also at the Chicago show a decade ago with someone I don't speak to anymore❤
Still one of my most favourite shows EVER! I danced so much that night in 2014! Was amazing!!

No they don’t come anywhere near me and when they do it just sells out 😢
I can feel the energy. You're the greatest artists on earth. Im crying, it's so beautiful. Love you. Miss you. ❤️
I just can't get enough of this performance of "Full Of Fire", it's brilliant
yeah that was awesome!
Been watching this year after year…can’t get enough.
It always makes me wish I could join the party!
This is pure magic. I love where you guys take me. Thanks.

i was in the front row best day of my life! so happy to see it again though i could never forget the magnificence of this performance!
Lucky you!!!
Im so fuking geles but never mind.. The youtube amazing too

Gooosh, what an amazing show - proud to be a Swede watching/listening to this ultimate art&music-experience!
Please! The Knife share this piece of audiovisual magic art with the world, what a great show in this times of meaningless music. cheers from Colombia!!!
I don't know how many times I have watched this show. I'm still waiting for my copy on DVD to arrive. I really love this version of Ready To Lose.
Thanks The Knife for this amazing and excelent show. From Colombia. Thanks Thanks thanks
i wasn't ready for this
who really is.

It was the most exiting experience ever.
Holy buckets, this was an incredible performance of some of my favorites from the group. Wow. Thanks for posting this!!
also, before you comment, you MUST watch it from start to end. Soo captivating.
This is pure pleasure - I don't know what's having more fun, my ears or my eyes! It's just a joy, I can't stop watching it, as it's so uplifting. Thank you - keep being you!!!
Hmmm, yes joy, but after listening to 'Ready to Lose,' I'd add I'm experiencing depth of soul - just more magic!
I went to this show on a whim and had my mind absolutely blown to shreds in the best way. Unreal experience.
PHENOMENAL!! I was fortunate enough to see this show at Electric Picnic, this just moves me to tears at times as it's just so wonderfully overwhelming. I'm in awe of all the performers, just amazing stamina, love, love, love you!!! Thanks for giving us this
That version of Ready to Lose is pure FEVER RAY
awe
Que culto maravilhoso!!!
I really love seeing how Karin took some elements from this show and put them in her recent Fever Ray performances, lovely!
Sad that the Knife aren’t making music anymore but looking forward to the reunion in 10 years. They will return.
Hope so 💜
They remixed a Bjork song together this year. There's HOPE 😊
Or maybe 25 years like twin peaks
I'm sure you know, but check out Fever Ray in the meanwhile.

Ragging Lung live changed my life for goods after that went in the concert at Brixton Academy 2014. Thanks The Knife :)
I feel the same watching this RL version, so so amazing! I would die to be there:)
Best song on the album, would kill to see them live!
I was there! What a stunning show. Knowing they just had Iceland and then we would have to wait years (and are still waiting to see them again...) was so poignant. A brilliant celebration, but bittersweet.
Brixton gig was incredible. They had me dancing out of my skin... literally
EVERYTHING. The tour was an out of this world experience.
This being uploaded is literally the best thing that's ever happened to me
glad to say i followed this tour in California from Pomona, Oakland to Coachella. Best shows of my life
this is the best thing I've ever seen on UA-cam. Wish I was there.
Great show - awesome venue - so much love and energy for The Knife ensemble - NYC represent. So glad this was filmed!
This is the best live music performance I've seen
Oh, yeah! I just love love love this, how could I have missed them until now? Pure awesomeness, musically and from the message they carry
Dont forget to watch it again :)
27 thumbs down? 27 people with terrible taste. This was spectacular! If I only lived in NYC for events like this.
I'm going to see Fever Ray for the first time tomorrow night. First time they've come to Australia! I can't wait!
How was it?
@@shvktv it was incredible! One of the best concerts I've ever been to
The year is 2569, and in one year it will be the ‘70’s. Let us look to what the future brings. Exciting times ahead, cyborgs.
The way Shannon dance during Pass This On makes me dance, all time, beats cut like razor.
I wish I could have been there. Really mind blowing even on video!
the knife and light asylum, this is perfection
I've never seen... anything like this before... f'ing epic.
This Is the future, I was amazed the whole Time.
It’s a pure privilege to listen to your wonderful music.👌
The production on these shaken up versions is amazing, such a trip. Full of Fire, Stay Out Here, Pass this On, One Hit, etc etc... the whole show. I am not sure what the earlier shows of shaking the habitual where like but if they ended up with this then yeah... hats off to the knife, performers etc 🫶
If it has to be weird to be art...
This is definitely a masterwork of art.
This was the most AMAZING performance I've ever seen on UA-cam.
Just maybe the best thing I've ever seen
Amazing guys, congratulations on an epic performance.
Awesome sound system makes huge difference
This is brilliant!! saw them in Ireland few years ago at a Festival
I was waiting for this sooo long
And now I'm blessed
Thank you!🙏🏻

Beautifully put. Thank you.
I miss you guys so much.
What an amazing trip...
I love how they used different singers to represent the vocal shifts/distortions that The Knife has admitted to using in their recorded music.
I don't think any song has given me full body chills like Raging Lung does. And this version is absolutely haunting.
i appreciate them even more now watching them ROCK these crazy ass instruments!~!~
They should show this in cinemas
But without chairs 😁
They should! With the Stop Making Sense restoration they should be showing this one in cinemas too.
The kind of art i was looking for, the one that doesn't need to be so serious; but fun and spiritually more enjoyable.
We'll always miss you, The Knife.
You made the best avant-garde-art-pop out there.
Yes they were fantastic. At the time I wasn't sure about this live show but looking back i love it.
danced and sang my lungs out through all of it...
Thought exacly the same...
11:44 I am just so amazed, I can't believe what I'm seeing and hearing. I've always loved The Knife, but I have never seen this. What I would do to see that shit live...
Je découvre ce live aujourd'hui ; c'est comme si je venais de trouver ce que j'ai cherché toute ma vie!
that is so amazingly beautiful!

one of my greatest regrets is not going to this live show omg AMAZING
Sound n light healing
Amo vocês 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
That was a great show. Especially the first part, the warm-up shake it up version ;)
Thank you so much for this, The Knife. Beyond the pale cool.
thanks for com'ng back! I've waited so long..
This can easily replace the Blue Mans group in Las Vegas , so much deeper in content and still spectacular .
Conciertazo puro lleno de Arte me enamoré más de ustedes, I LOVE YOUUUUUU
Good lord, this is amazing.... thank you.....
Awesome to finally get to see this show.
Had tickets to see it in Manchester, UK but they postponed then canceled the gig not long before splitting up =(
I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS... PLEASE PLEEEEEASE KEEP MAKING STUFF :(
I'll never understand how people complained and walked out of the shows for this tour. This is art in every way possible.

It was shit in person... and I am a big fan of art for art's sake.
Wow - I didn't realize it was that extensive of a change over the course of the tour. Very intriguing - even when reading the interviews it doesn't sound as far removed, but that makes sense now too. Thanks for the input ya'll!
shit in a can is supposedly art as well but that doesn't make it good art
OH MY GOD YES! Best day in my life, thank you!
I love the knifes albums............
este show merece un premio por todo lo que veo y escucho, gracias
Please come to Mexico soon!!! I'd love to see this show live here!!
guy telling a band that broke up 3 years ago to come to mexico smh
Hahaha omg, I gotta update my news! I didn't know that, well, it'd would've been fun! 😜
KEEP MAKING US HAPPY PLEASE
Still unbelievably awesome ❤
Oh, I recognised that incredible voice of Shannon Funchess from Light Asylum.
Last show I saw before the pandemic shut everything down. Light asylum at space bar in San diego
Great gig! Thank you!
i need this in my life!
come to Colombia please
Thank you guys!
THANK YOU!
Gracias !
En esta y en otras vidas seré (mos) como ustedes.
