    Hey dude. Boosted boards is shutting down. We need you to teach more people this method so we can keep our boards going. Any chance you could also help us crack their proprietary battery management system code?

      not sure if you saw but theres an easy-ish way to reset the RLOD without sending your battery in or soldering, its a video uploaded by user NomadNed, go take a look....shorting 2 pins on the bms circuit will trip it to reset.

    Thank you for finally exolaib clearly what happens instead of most people who just say it's a bad bearing. This video was awesomem

    • @NullBlox
      @NullBlox 5 років тому

      Im pretty sure he even said the bad bearing is what caused the rod to get smaller.
      The bearing was busted up, so did not spin freely and thus made the rod smaller in diameter.
      Source: ua-cam.com/video/tcegApIP000/v-deo.html
      So he cleared it up alright, the bearing causes the issue of the rod getting smaller.

    • @ipasthemaster
      @ipasthemaster  4 роки тому

      I used several types. These where steel rods, not alluminium. Most of them I bought on Aliexpress. Some where chrome-plated and had a very nice finish. Normally the rods where sold as 3d printer parts

      IPAS PROJECTS after your shaft replacement did you find to last longer than BB shafts? Under replacing procedure you have used set on new bearings as we’ll correct? I’m concerned about boosted service now Days and trying to prepare for that common issue. Even was trying find aftermarket motors but no luck i guess probably would be possible if we had some schematics for wiring.
