Red death + those fragments + new warlock super + speakers mask + aspect to buff healing nades + phoenix dive = ULTIMATE HEALING SUPPORT CLASS! This is huge for endgame content. Ontop of it being primarily healer focused, the build would also have decent ad clear especially if paired with an area denial grenade launcher and the super can be used to promote other warlocks to run starfire protocol since it buffs allies grenade recharge (along with the fragment), so demo rockets OR any possible new demo GLs could be on the table for DPS. This also essentially nullifies well nerfs. Add on heavy scout + heavy finder, this build will be insane for keeping allies healed in day 1 / endgame content ontop of allowing other warlocks to become MORE offensive and deadly. Pair with chill clip fusion and then you also have all 3 champions covered (radiant from subclass), and double solar surge to make red death even MORE insane and buff a heavy solar rocket... I am going to MAIN this!!!!!!!
I am so excited for this but there's no way Bungie gives it a healing turret I would not complain if they did but that would be too good to be true so excited for this weapon though and the helmet and all the build potential being the support healer is always been one of my favorite roles and this allows you to be an aggressive support healer and I love it

And the origin trait for those weapons creates a Vex radiolaria pool on every kill which essentially just extends the duration of your damaging pools.

I agree u can play a little differently with starfire. U dont have to be locked into empowering rift. For me, I use healing rift and ember of benevolence to make up for a lack of healing. Ember of benevolence with a cure clip weapons and radiant melee allow me to regen grenades a ton which give me infinite healing rifts on top of that. I like your idea of proccing resto x2 as well.
Unfortunately when something turns out to be THIS good, Bungie comes along with a "Balance pass" and ruins it. I really hope this season they just say f-it and go all in on crazy abilities and big outgoing DPS. Let's not re-live the launch of Stasis.....

End game red death build will be to have spirit of scars from the exotic class item to free up the exotic armor slot. I’m planning on starting with precious scars until I get the class item for titan and then switching it out for path of burning steps

And the 2 artifact mods provide more grenade energy, damage & radiant, radiant, while red death provides cure & resoration. Unless u are running Star fire just because it allows u to have double grenade charge there is no benefit. Verity’s does literally the same things, just better

@@DevilSaturn966resto x2 is the best survivability buff in the game by a long shot. It effectively makes you invincible and can be extended. The problem is that you can only apply one instance of it per ability, whereas this exotic allows you to get free invincibility that applies many times without the need for constant and immediate kills all while you begin to recharge your next turret. This is by no means bad. It’s no Sunbracers but there are times where Sunbracers aren’t best in slot.
where did you get the catalyst leak from? as far as i'm aware it would be impossible to see the catalyst effect ingame without obtaining it (which would be impossible in the amount of time the game was up)
With how many new sources of healing we're getting, no wonder Bungie wants to nerf well healing because now you can roam with the radiant buff while getting supported with so many sources of healing.
yes it was needed, it sucked out all the room for variety in the meta and was undoubtedly the go to option. Giving crazy survivability and a sizable damage bonus, basically doing everything. @@Honed- Ward of Dawn was/is in a similar position where it's the clear go to option for Titans, albeit for PvP only instead of PvP and PvE.
In D1, Red Death was my goto for Gogroth. I soloed gaze, when 1 phase was a thing. Red death kept me alive as you could get the heal effect to proc on shooting those seaker things.
The story for the episode doesn't start until 2nd week. But the season pass is a day 1 thing, so you can get as much progress as you want before the story starts

Red Death will be common in PvP, so Kinetic Tremors might actually be good in PvP since you can proc it on all the healing people.

It only gives resto x2 if you're on Solar with Touch of Flame btw, if you're on prismatic or don't have Touch of Flame it's only gonna be resto x1

The catalyst comes from a season rank in Act 2 of the season pass. In there it described the effect.

Energy drain and life steal were not devour. You could not extend the effect with weapon kills.
