Callaway absolutely brilliant in getting the adjustability sleeve right, so those Golf Pride Align grips, or the older "rib" grips, can be used with no reservations.
I currently play a Ping Anser Driver from like 2012. Mark has tech advanced enough since then to look for a new Driver? I only ask because I've watched your channel for years and you still hit 262.. Other than irons getting extremely strong lofts it seems as if your numbers have stayed the same in all areas. Good to see you going back to the larger irons again.

Had a fitting of all the modern gear recently. I managed to pick up a brand new Mavrik head in my assumed spec, with a brand new, uncut Fujikura Fuel. Professionally built and saved about $600 in the process. Win.
I went back and tested this club again, 3 weeks after first testing it. I am so damn impressed. I will 100% be buying this with custom design. Just gotta save the pennies first!

Went in for a demo and fit into the Cobra SZ and TM SiM. Completely ignored the Mavrik because I detested the sound of the Epic Flash so much last year... I’m extremely happy with the fit and gains I got by switching to SiM from my old M1, but I’m wishing I’d at least have given it a hit now.
Once again Matt - speed training beckons for you mate!! Lots of primary colours in that driver Matt! Love that statement - not another driver I cant hit!! Lol

Big points for the colour! I like that Callaway doesn’t change a lot year over year because you shouldn’t have to. As you said it can’t be revolutionary one year then not in the next release. I’ll give it a go for sure! Poor Coach btw 😃

Nahh. I got an epic flash from the custom shop in grey/anodized pink .. looks awesome. I went from sub zero ( too low spin for me). To standard flash with an atmos black shaft.. cut knuckleballs for days .. I WILL be pickin up a pair of those kicks though !!
to confirm, Callaway neck still allows to change loft and face angle independently? I liked this 'first impressions' video. Coach is such a earnest chap :)
Handcrafted is clashing with the new head a little there... But, it does sound good. Question is... Are rails not in for 2020 or something? Seems like all the new drivers are deleting rails if they had them previously.
Mark you like Sound and Look ,what about Feel ? Average golfers want the 3 basics in a review FEEL, SOUND and FORGIVENESS. Hit a few of the heel and toe .
Would like to see coach try the stock shaft too? Probably a good option as not too much for us mere mortals to tinker with, would like to try and test the extreme areas that you guys don’t hit😂
I like the look and color scheme of the Maverick better than the epic. I could never get past the bright green color and probably why I didn’t buy one.

So with Coach's swing speeds.. are his ball speeds considered "low?" If so is that due to strike and or delivery? Just curious because your ball speeds and carry yards are more "normal?" Hard to explain but with 118 club head speeds seems like his carries would/could be longer.. Thanks!
Don't know where you see his club head speed be as high as 118 in this vid. But if you are very efficient with the delivery of the driver, a ball speed of 1.5 times higher than the club head speed is very optimal. So 115 mph club head speed could very well deliver 172 mph ball speed. Now carry is another animal, but again it varies so depending on delivery.
@@Appe07 didn't show head speed in this video. But many recent videos and Mark's speed training/fairway finding with draws and fades video. Coach was clocked at 121 or 122 with his boom draw ball.
Very impressive driver, like you I love the more 'old fashioned' style looks and sound....hate the name along with all their driver names in the past. Stick to letters and numbers like the others, M5, F9, 913 etc, sounds a lot more classy.

Looks quite like older ping drivers. Dislike the orange like the sound reminds me of wooden woods.

I have got this driver and I was really impressed with it forgiving and long I felt that there was an improvement from the epic flash

I’ve got the Mavrik Max. It’s a great sound when the 14gm weight is at the heel. When it’s not it’s a somewhat muted sound.
