Hit this driver today. First time I have EVER hit a new driver and thought “yes, I’m going to buy this Cos it’s better.” To me it had the distance of an epic flash (that club always gives me my longest balls, but also some of my worst), but with the stability and forgiveness of my g400 that im still gaming. Best of both worlds and for the first time ever, I will be switching to a new driver! And I will order it custom so it comes in a nice colour, not that awful brown/orange. I also loved the stock 50g stiff shaft.
Brand new subscriber. Love the tips and Content. Getting back into golf after about a 2 year absense.... been playing Softball. Ruined my swing. Love your “swing thoughts” and reminders of getting back to the basics: keep up the good work.

Some people don't like the sound a club makes. Me? I don't care if it sounds like a screaming chicken as long as it performs well. I had bought the Rogue. Went back to my Great Big Bertha of 2015. I just hit it further. The fairway Rogues??? Oh that is another story. I had hit those better than any other fairway woods I have ever had. Have a 3, 5, and a 7.
I like the look and sound but not worth $500 to me. I’ll just play my M3 and be happy. No real improvements in the past couple of years. It’s a great time to get a used driver for a reasonable price. Nice review though. I enjoyed it.
I got burned buying the rogue standard driver. Boy does that club suck. I have a gbb epic subzero which is great, but forgiveness is average. I was hoping the maverick standard was actually forgiving and decent enough low spin. I’m gun shy to get the maverick because rogue standard horrible. And I don’t want another subzero. Anybody think maverick standard is decent ???

One year later and my son purchased it for $250. He likes it better than the Big Bertha he used to play with.
