why is this the best thing ever.. like it seems like this group has more fun than most lines but they are still some how ridiculous in every vid ive seen
Wow! That's not the same Bluecoats i marched with in the early 1980s.....Awesome, very proud to be 45 minutes from such awesome creativity, precision, and class!
the center snare is always lookin up... there must be somthin goin on up there or he is thinkin really hard. but i give my props to him and his snareline. kickass stuff right there
Puttin' some hype on those singles at the end! Also, does 3:13 to 3:16 sound like something that Mike Jackson wrote at Vanguard? It sounds very familiar to me.
damn, does anyone know how to practice getting traditional wrist turn to this level, i have bad genes and my left hand is tight as crap and doesnt turn very well, anyone know a good way to practice besides putting a pillow between your arm, or taking the stick and pulling it back to stretch it, unless those are the best ways to do so. just wondering if anyone could help me with that, thank you
@BizzyTkiD Dave Chapelle lives about 15 minutes from my house. He lives in Yellow Springs, OH. I pumped gas next to him on my way home from a party at 4am one time, it was pretty epic haha.
a couple of times the snares were pretty dirty. the tenors were spot on i was really impressed. i mean the snares were still better than my line but all i'm saying is it could of been cleaner just a parts.. all around sick video and show!
@KevinALIV get a really big book ( like those kids books with pictures) that are made out of cardboard and stick it between your arm and ribs. then hold the stick in your hand and put it on the outside of the book
Huppity-Hop shoota! McGavin SKEUGH OH....... YES... It aint chocolate It's doodoo! It burns AHHH! MILK! LOU DOBSON X then snares Stick click 1:31 Red Line 2:11 WE BLEED BLUE 2:24 Trivett and thats all they say in the closer
Parker, it wasn't supposed to be an insult. :p I'm saying I actually LIKE How they use a slice in their technique. I wasn't being sarcastic, actually being serious. lol
you realize only about 30 or so % of any corps music is written down. you're just just looking at someones interpretation or "transcription" of the books. so many changes are made in the books on tour most of the time it is learned on the spot.
I do believe out of every single drumline/drum corps video I've watched on youtube, this one is the one I've watched over and over again the most!
omg lick at 2:31 still sounds so amazing 4 years later :D I loved hearing this live! It was a good year to amrch!
why is this the best thing ever.. like it seems like this group has more fun than most lines but they are still some how ridiculous in every vid ive seen
Wow! That's not the same Bluecoats i marched with in the early 1980s.....Awesome, very proud to be 45 minutes from such awesome creativity, precision, and class!

I love this line. I also love how they're playing in front some abandoned old house.
Lol, the one with the curly hair is now one of my band directors. Lolol.
Thanks, he looked exactly like our snare tech so I was curious.

That is just sick.... I love it.
Awesome clip!
this makes me wanna try out for bluecoats so bad now! hilarious!
I do have to say, the slice in their right hand is very nice visual. ;)
i love how at 0:50 the guy on the left looks over at center and the guy on center smiles cuz he knows wuts comin lol....
this is transcribed on snare science now! hellz yeah.
@tenors00 the wristbands is to strengthen the wrist muscles in your right hand and the one on the left is for your forearm. idk about the sleeves

@IronfistmanDV I saw that he was doing MCM this year. I love their show this year! I'm going to the WGI world championships in Dayton this weekend! :)
It burns...Ahhhh! LMFAO!!!!!!!
It's like he's marched indoor before and is used to having to project your face up that high haha.
i love this hahahaha wow
Lol Banished was center snare for the Cavies in 09 and this year.
Whoa I didn't know that! I was just assuming because so many corps guys march in WGI. That's legit that he's in Mystique, though!
2:50 is soo asome!!!
nice video quality and sound i would have liked to see basses and tenors more though.
Haha, I meant Marshall, I just put Parker (I saw the P in the name, so thats prob why). Well, WHENEVER the slice is, I like it, It's catchy.
@mikstertjc123 thats written in the music dawg. its a vocal for the center snare. and its actually written SKEUGH
@TurboMcnasty753 if im not badly mistaken or at the DCI atl. show they said blue cheese give it to me
Ok, who invents those fucking amazing visuals?
The name of this is "Haitian Fight Song"
Well freakin' word.
Puttin' some hype on those singles at the end! Also, does 3:13 to 3:16 sound like something that Mike Jackson wrote at Vanguard? It sounds very familiar to me.
Lol 1:08 "it burns, aaaahhhh"
Wow drew put his sticks over the bag early at :52... what a tick box
damn, does anyone know how to practice getting traditional wrist turn to this level, i have bad genes and my left hand is tight as crap and doesnt turn very well, anyone know a good way to practice besides putting a pillow between your arm, or taking the stick and pulling it back to stretch it, unless those are the best ways to do so. just wondering if anyone could help me with that, thank you
@griffinthe they used fairbanks in 08. this past year they used casellas
1:00 to 1:25 those two couldn't help but gigglw and have stupid grins on their faces:P
ahahaha funniest guys.
@hahahahahalollmao
thanks, and how hard is the packet?
@BizzyTkiD Dave Chapelle lives about 15 minutes from my house. He lives in Yellow Springs, OH. I pumped gas next to him on my way home from a party at 4am one time, it was pretty epic haha.
a couple of times the snares were pretty dirty. the tenors were spot on i was really impressed. i mean the snares were still better than my line but all i'm saying is it could of been cleaner just a parts.. all around sick video and show!
@aosborne678 i figured lol there is no way anyone could confuse the two.
@fsudrew1992
lol and the Bluecoats 2010 production: Harry Potter; The Show
Those are some busy hands
@KevinALIV get a really big book ( like those kids books with pictures) that are made out of cardboard and stick it between your arm and ribs. then hold the stick in your hand and put it on the outside of the book
they say mcm at the beginning too

Is there a name for the visual at 0:45 by the guy to the left of drew? its prettty sick lol
are the blue coats auditions hard? im just wondering because i want to try and get in them when i gte older and out of high school
2:50 best part ever
at 0:58 do they say shooter mcgavin from happy gilmore????
the snare on the far right always looks sad or nervous
no...it's the SCV "flash"...it's not the pose of 2009 though. SCV did that in 08 but i forget what year they first did it.
i think after ohhhh yesss, they say "hey toddler". not its not chocolate.
guy glares at the sun....and the sun goes dark. as seen in this video.
the sleeve is a bluecoats thing nd itz rolled up into the shirt
they say it aint chocolate
then tenors say its doo doo
@Sirserioify yeah
its just drumline/snare hype
the snare third in from the left looks like a guy i saw at MCM lol
snare on end closest to tenors=voldemort. looks just like him
@TheIceTitan idk about age out but he's in mcm this year
1 2
and then they sing the horn part
So, why do they have one full sleeve...and one cutoff. And the wristbands, one at the wrist and one close to the elbow....any point in this?
Im pretty sure that every time they start the vocals at :56, Drew tries to be serious, but within 4 seconds hes laughing :P
Huppity-Hop shoota! McGavin SKEUGH OH....... YES... It aint chocolate It's doodoo! It burns AHHH! MILK! LOU DOBSON
X then snares Stick click

the second snare from the right overhyped the shit out of that ending hahaha.
big lucas, they are not saying skeughh! they are saying SKANK, followed up by, oooooooohhhh yes
that's because it is lol
is that guy right from Drew age out after that year?
@girlsnare08
he marched rythmx right?
Yes. 0:20
if you are talking about 1:01, he says "skank"
Has Drew Guy aged out this past year? and did he march any indoor programs?
Parker, it wasn't supposed to be an insult. :p I'm saying I actually LIKE How they use a slice in their technique. I wasn't being sarcastic, actually being serious. lol
Has Drew Guy aged out this year? and did he march any indoor programs?
@aosborne678 Ah ok..i hate when people try to point him out when they're wrong..knowing who he is ruins the fun
Shootah MacGavin!!!!
Given that i was there when they first put that in and was sidelined due to injury. im pretty sure it originally was "new dots" just saying haha
@CJDJ61616 dude my mom looked at me like I was gay when I did the visual with the recording lol
you realize only about 30 or so % of any corps music is written down. you're just just looking at someones interpretation or "transcription" of the books. so many changes are made in the books on tour most of the time it is learned on the spot.
@TheGetAtMeDawg i went to Greenon Highschool in Sprinfield, OH. I go to Wittenberg University now though.
