- Star Trek Suite 2: • Star Trek Mega Suite 2...
This is an extended update to the original Mega Suite 1, found here: • Star Trek Mega Suite 1...
Way back in 2010 when I started this Star Trek Mega Suite project, there wasn't nearly as much Star Trek music available as there is now. When I started with Star Trek: Enterprise in the first suite, there was only the "Broken Bow" CD and a few rare promo CDs out there. However, in the last several years we've been fortunate to see expanded/complete soundtracks for all the movies and several large collections of music from the Star Trek television series. Ever since, I've wanted to return to this suite and do an extended cut with better transitions.
Star Trek: Enterprise is a great show that really grew on me, with I think some of the best music produced for a Star Trek television show. With this extended cut, I wanted to feature music from all four seasons, from Broken Bow to These Are The Voyages. As before, the suite starts with First Contact, then transitions to Enterprise, then a hint of the 2009 Star Trek theme to represent the briefly glimpsed Kelvin era, and finally the amazing Star Trek medley Dennis McCarthy ended the series on.
I hope you guys enjoy this new extended version. If you still want to listen to the original version, I'm leaving it up (I'm not going to pull a George Lucas and make it unavailable for those that prefer it). Before anyone asks, no, I don't have any plans to extend any of the other Star Trek suites at this time, it was really just this one I wanted to do.

I am Korean. I have never lived in the United States. But I like Star Trek very much. I'm a huge fan. I love Star Trek. I love you, I love you. So I chose this music as a masterpiece that I would listen to thousands of times. It is my pleasure to do my daily work with this music on. Thank you to everyone who made this music.

2022 here, same feeling of surprise and amazement
Finding this again after 6 Years is funny 2. Back then i had this as an mp3 lol

"Sir.. there's another Star Ship coming in... It's the Enterprise!!"
*growls in dishonoured Klingon.*
Yeah but which one 🤣
On Screen
sir, I just shit!
"And we'll finally be able to explore those strange new worlds... To seek out new life, and new civilizations."
not in a million years i can get tired of this music.. May we all live long and prosper
All I can say is OUTSTANDING! I am a huge Enterprise fan. I didn't give it a chance until years after it was cancelled. And man what a mistake! It became my favorite Trek of all the series! Thank you for doing this!!!
@IL2fped - me too - the hokey theme tune put me off - lol!!! But I am currently rewatching for the umpteenth time. Not my favourite (that has to be Voyager), but still great. The writing just gets better as it goes on.
Archer's theme is really iconic, such an underrated series.
When I was young, I felt that anything was possible! We'd have huge space stations and a moon colony! What about a space elevator, or a huge catapult in the Himalayan Mountains? Terraform Venus? Let's do it! Maybe I'd be the first person on Mars! Maybe, just maybe, we aren't alone in the universe. Let's go find out! Who doesn't get excited thinking about that stuff?
When I got older, I realized that the answer is plenty of people. There are just too many people out there who don't care. They'd rather exploit their fellow men and women for their own short term gain, the future be damned. It all seems rather hopeless at times. When I read the news, when I hear about what we're doing to each other and our planet, when I see that cruelty and selfishness in my everyday life, it can't help but depress me, and the bright eyed kid I used to be seems like a distant memory, impossibly out of reach.
This music, though, stirs something inside of me. As if that little kid, asleep for so many years somewhere in the back of my mind, is slowly waking up and looking out at the world through my eyes once more. No, the world isn't hopeless! I refuse to believe it! It can be bright and hopeful, filled with wondrous possibility! This future is one that we can build, together! All it takes is a sparkle in your eye and the willingness to believe in it.
There are times when I wonder if Elon Musk is playing music like this when designing his technology.
I love thinking about the things that may exist in the universe, and I have always hoped for the possibility of being able to go out and explore. To me, it is amazing how small we are on Earth, and how small Earth is compared to the vastness of space.
Elon Musk :)
And then, Election 2016 happened...
(Sorry to be "that" guy)
Well even according to Star Trek cannon most of the 21st Century is not a happy time with World War III, a nuclear war, it is not until after the Vulcans make first contact in 2063 that things turn around.
Thank You, Tyrannicus. This is extremely well done and I richly enjoyed all the selections and all the painstaking editing and re-editing and blending you gave to make this work. Truly, truly, a wonderful work of art and a labor of love. THANK YOU!
The light and darkness of mankind expressed in some of the most beautiful music of a nature which seldom touches the heart so forcefully but instead slaps you across the face to wake you up to not just what is but what could be if only we are to remain young at heart and young in mind.
Without this music, Trek wouldn't be Trek. The second we hear the first couple of notes, we boldly dream, hope and then go.
Star Trek to me isn’t just a show. It’s Hope of what we can be one day. A future I hope we can achieve. To go beyond the stars and become more than what we are. All I can hope for in my life is just to see the beginning of it all. And when I see it. I know humanity the best qualities of it will live on.
The beginning of it all is already happening go look up Space X Starship program.
Star Trek music is good for the soul.

Maybe I am just overly sensitive, but this medley made me cry just a little.
+Bill Jenkins I'm not cyring either... it's just dust in my eye
I'm cutting onions while listening to this.
I feel ya man!
Nope... you aint the only one
The world can do with a bit more sensitivity to beauty.
Every time I hear Archer's theme it gets me...
ohh Enterprise theme...make me cry. I miss them a lot....
Yes! you can say what you like about Enterprise, but the soundtrack was good. "Regeneration" was my fave (from the ST:ENT OST
I'll admit I did not watch that series, but the theme always makes me think of Wyld Stallyns! Excellent!
And, I love you picture...the NX-01 off on another adventure to seek out new life and new civilization. The crew under Archer truly did go where no man had gone before. Thank you once again. I am turning 60 this year so I have watched Star Trek from the start. I've seen it all and Enterprise was my favorite.
The creators of ENTERPRISE wanted to do a story of Starfleets 'Chuck Yeagers' and 'Neil Armstrongs'. To do a story BEFORE a FEDERATION was even conceived. To begin the story when there was no Prime Directive, when transporter beaming was in its infancy, when starships didn't even have shields or phasers.
I loved this series for this (and other) reasons. It made everything new and fresh again with TREK.
I have loved this franchise so much that I even wrote my own story based on the next saga, TREK after Picard's time (100 yrs beyond the ENTERPRISE-E).
ENTERPRISE was a vastly underrated and under appreciated show. Easily my favorite Star Trek series after TOS.
@@KNYHT.FIRE-1 I would love to read this story set 100 years after the E.
@@shootybaking its not published anywhere except two places: in a set of corrupted floppies that I can't access, and in my gray matter

A wonderful collection of music to listen to on this day, the 50th anniversary of Star Trek!
These mega suites are giving me the push I need to finish work on my Master's thesis in the next week.
I've already done some work for NASA in my career, and someday I truly hope to someday see what life is like away from the surface of this pale blue dot. I have no idea if that day will ever come. But if it does, I'm ripping these to bring along for the ride.
first contact is so beautiful!
It's been years. And this is my favourite megasuite of yours. So sad some of them got taken down
No words can describe the joy this fills me with. Thank you Thank you Thank you :-) Come back Star Trek, we all miss you :-(
+CosmicOwl Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
And your wish is granted in 2017.. with Star Trek on CBS and all access.
The new enterprise model is ugly.
Sadly, I agree. It seems clumsy and ungraceful. If they streamlined the lower hull, gave it some curves and restructered the warp nacelles, I think it could work. However, it seems the fledgling series itself is in a lot of trouble. Nicholas Meyers may be brought in to start a secondary series as this first one seems almost doomed to be short lived.
They brought back a zombie
Almost all futuristic films and shows portray a dystopia based on exaggerations or augmentations of present day social problems. Original Star Trek and TNG gave hope and inspired kids to become scientists, philosophers and leaders. We need that Trek back again.
the creators, composers, and cast, of star trek, truly did go where no man has gone before.
I am thankful to be along for the ride.
Star Trek: First Contact FTW ! It always gives me goosebumps for some reason
Your megasuites are amazing to have on in the background when I'm working on a paper. I applaud and thank you good sir!
Four years later, doing the same thing. Cheers!
@@Sunshrine2 Still a regular listener here! These cuts have got me all the way through to postgrad
I listen to them when I work on paperwork
I put the Mega Suites on for inspiration when I'm working on my group's fanfic. ;)
same!!! that's what I'm doing too!
This is amazing. There's one thing you can't beat, and that's a Star Trek Soundtrack!
Star Wars isn't bad either as long John Williams is still around.
A severely underrated series in my opinion. Though it was not my favorite, I *love* Enterprise all the same.
The undiscovered country. Our future. The future of Star Trek.
A new series is finally being written!
The journey continues...
The journey will always continue, because of fans like us and the dreamers of tomorrow.
There are bold new worlds out there. Let's go exploring!
"Space, the final frontier....
these are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise, it's 5 year mission to seek out new life and civilizations, to explore strange new worlds and to boldly go where no man has gone before"
-Captain James T. Kirk
They're really from another world.... And they're going to want to meet the man who flew that warp ship.... And our future is waiting on us....
And, thank you for all the great music from Star Trek: Enterprise. The composer(s) did such great work and Archer's theme is just wonderful.
This soundtrack plays regularly while I explore strange new worlds in Stellaris. It makes it so much more epic :)
Currently playing Star Trek: New Horizons mod on Stellaris and listening to this. ;)
I love listening to these as I do work. Beautiful music excellently composed together. Your DS9 suite is especially anticipated!
Thank you, I'm anticipating it myself! (just waiting on that Voyager music La La Land promised)
I love how this suite sort of tells the story, from first contact to the early federation with it ending at the beginnings of TOS.
Tyrannicus, I absolutely love how you tied in the ending of "First Contact" with the launching of the Enterprise Series. It all flowed so seamlessly from the beginning. I've listened to the compilation now for several months and I too agree with what you said about the music to this series being so memorable and spot on for this series. The music to me is one about the amazement and awesomeness of space, it's wonder about endless places to explore, about finding new hope. That music captures that mood at the beginning and then when the Zindi make their appearance, rightfully so, the music turns darker. At the end, it ends in noble triumph. I think you captured the very essence of that "Promise" with this suite. You nailed it, spot on. As a fan of your work, I could ask for no better tribute to "Enterprise" and that series. Very very well done with much appreciation for your hard work.
Brilliant all themes connected all journeys, all legacy's and all the human adventures combined. The histories of the captains and their crew live on.
That music heralding the arrival of the Xindi probe sends a shiver down my spine every time.
Yay!! This and the Vulcan suite are awesome! I vote for more ENT suites; this music is so overlooked :)
This is sending chills right through me. Absolutely epic. I'm lucky enough to have all of the soundtracks from the movies (including the reboot movies) and the 30th anniversary soundtrack. But they pale in comparison to the way all these mixes have been done. Nice job.
AWESOME is all I can say! "Brings a tear to my eye" as Scotty said.
So wonderful....
WOW! Just stumbled across this wonderful creation. Also see there’s more, so I’m coming for them. Thank you so MUCH! Wonderful!
Thank you for bringing this all together
Glad you enjoyed it
There was always a melancholy in the choruses and finales, hidden, there under the glory. A somberness.
So soothing to listen to while taking a nap.
Amazing thanks you! from Argentina!
+Pablo Damian Rodriguez Glad you enjoyed it!
+Tyrannicus From Argentina again: Awesome.
Long life, and Prosper!
As a grown ass man (43) the end broke me... good job Captain

I love every Mega Suite and especially this one whith its epic mix of Star Trek VIII and ENT, makes me getting goosebumps every time i listen to it
I am one of your big fans, Ty! Just wanted you to know how much I love all your Star Trek Suite postings. You're fantastic at editing and mixing all these pieces. I listen to them almost exclusively throughout the week on my big system. So many thanks and looking forward to more of your talents.
+AD Fitz Thanks, I really appreciate it!
The entire video made for a wonderful listen but then the end really brought it all together and brought a smile. You did a beautiful job with this suite.
+Khymerion Thank you!
Your suites really make it so much better playing Star Trek Online. Really makes it feel like Star Trek even more so than the games soundtrack. The way you put them together as well is also supurb. Excellent job dude :D
Archer's theme brings me to tears.
57:00
I always loved that incorporation of the theme of the movie there in this suite. I know your original description mainly talked about the early days of Starfleet and the Kelvin, but I always hear it, and just cannot help but feel it is a foreshadowing of what is to come in the future, from the destruction of Romulus, to the creation of a parallel timeline, to perhaps even a gaze into what the 25th century itself might hold for the future of Starfleet or the Enterprise...
You do marvels with the music of this franchise. I hope you don't stop.
I listen to these as I work with my students on their maths during the current lockdown, Very thearaputic
These suites have become my default background when playing Attack Wing or reading anything Trek related. You do great work on mixing and selection. Keep up the good work. LLAP
+David McMahon Cool, and thanks. I haven't actually played the Attack Wing game myself, but I do own several of the models because I used to collect Star Trek Micro Machines and I've found that they are a great addition to that collection with many ships fitting that size perfectly.
+Tyrannicus Recently became hooked on it myself and now I need to own everything. Also is there any chance we could get a download link for each suite? These would be great for long trips (funnily enough) and playing it through UA-cam would gobble all my data in no time.
David McMahon I can't provide links because of copyright reasons, as that's likely to get the videos taken down, however I'd recommend going to a site like clipconverter.cc and converting the link to whatever audio format you prefer.
Me to, and for Star Trek Ascendancy!
I love this!
Realy wish ther was a station of this stuff on jango radio.
at 17:10, i find it similar to mission to mars ending soundtrack when he's about to get into the alien ship
It's a miracle work! And you are a true miracle doctor as the legendary Mondgomery Scott once was :)
You're doing incredible work when it comes to music from Star Trek. Thank you.
+ClingingMars Thank you!
Holy cow this was fantastic! Amazing job!
This is really beautiful, thank you!
Who else cried when enterprise archer's theme played?
That happened like three times in this suite
It's interesting, I heard the music from Sim's funeral, and I immediately knew what it was from without even thinking. It fits so perfectly that I instantly remembered it.
Gives my so much memories... I should watch the whole series again :P.
Great job, can't wait to listen to all of the other suites also now!!
thank you so much, this is wonderful!
Even better than the OriginalMix .. this & JohnWilliams’s work is a gr8 entree 2 concert hall music 4 jazz-heads like me .. thx heaps👍
I am in love with your Star Trek suites.
Brilliant :)
...where no man has gone before
Just wonderful......
great music mix ya did it really gets the heart pumping in a lot of the songs keep up the good work
+Damian Sweeney Thanks!
I tear up every time I hear Captain Archers theme.
I keep coming back to this suite and I think out of all the suites that you have pulled together, this is my favorite. I say this because it covers a lot of music from the Enterprise series. In particular, I enjoyed the section of Enterprise music from the episode "Dear Doctor".. That was a deceptively well written and well directed episode that covered the very beginnings of the prime directive and their struggle with it, finally understanding as Capt Archer states "Now I think I know how the Vulcan's must have felt when they landed on Earth". All in all, this really is my favorite suite and I to enjoy loading this up on my computer and listening to it whenever I'm working here at the table on something. I have it playing in the background. You know, it must be personally very gratifying to you to know that a lot of people enjoy your suites. As one of those people, Yes, I very much enjoy your work in pulling these suites together and I thank you for it.
This is the second video by you that I've listened to, and I must say you are extremely talented. You have earned another subscriber.
ST Enterprise had some quite nice potential and season 4 was great!
FASCINANTE
+Tyrannicus That would be awesome -- I can't wait to hear it!
May the Gateway from Space the final frontier, to Supernatural creation the pure, perfect and complete place in attenuated arrival of region Glorious as forever beautiful can be and is.
Wonderful music ... I listen to it while working on my text. Very pleasing and calm. Thank you!! :-D
Thank You.
Great job! Blending together music is an art you have mastered, and brings new life to the songs that I sometimes tire of listening to in "track shuffle" mode!
+Tim Chorle Thank you, I really appreciate it!
I use this Suite to design some ships!
Great stuff man
Outstanding!
10:00 is a full fun sound;51:38 ear-catching female hum; Thanks, this is excellent, very different feel than the other Star Trek's I've listened to.
I grew up with The Original Series. It was my true religion. I had the honor to know Gene Roddenberry. I consider Enterprise to be the only true Star Trek series to honor Gene's vision since The Motion Picture.
Finding this has made working on school work so much more enjoyable! Thank you! Can't wait for Suite 6 as Voyager is still one of my favorite series (no hate please! lol) Thank you!
love it
Whenever I start to listen ST themes I starting with... oh this beautiful Voyager theme, but then Archer theme surpasses it, and then Deep Space Nine longing trumpet... and then I come to the conclusion that the best theme of Star Trek is Picard saying "Shut up Wesley".
I can just hear Duras being blown to pieces 🤣
