It's more than a TV show, it's a vision of hope for mankind's future.
Well, it *was* anyway.
There is something special about Trek. I appreciate post apocalyptic fiction and find it fun, but we need hope. Hope for a better future, a future where mankind is united in greater pursuits beyond ourselves and our pettiest considerations. Hope for a future free of deprivation and destitution. Hope for a future free of discrimination and antipathy. A future where we tread among the stars, boldly going where no one have gone before.
Without hope....only left desperations.
Chris Patrick I'mma borrow your little speech cuz holy damn it's outstanding
@@carlosrubio959 Have at it Brother!
Very well said, bravo 👌
Let's bring it out from the realm of science fiction and into reality shall we? Let's achieve this dream together
Star Trek has some of the most memorable and beloved soundtracks ever in cinema.
🎶👍🏻
All the classic treks together i love it
Your opinion only, chubbs.
First Contact is just... TOO AWESOME!!!
The music never disappoints with none of the Star Trek movies.
Learn English.
Quite simply, I was born too soon. My heart will always be aboard the various starships of Roddenberry's universe. Live long and prosper.
Yes
I remember when TNG came out, when i first met patrick steward… good times. I liked tos, but i loved tng. It was the positivity, the will to find a solution with words, not with violence..
@@erebostd yes, in tos roddenberry had to make compromises, otherwise it would never been aired I think.
But in TNG he was able to show more of his true vision.
The Enterprise D was and will forever be my "living room", if you understand what I mean, I think you will.
I also like the other ships but the D will be forever Home.
And I was born too late, while i appreciated the TNG era of the ninties, i always loved TOS more growing up
That's funny, and I was born late? Maybe. I didn't get to experience Star Trek in childhood, but it's been great getting to binge it all now!
Star Trek is truly on the best things created. It’s inspirational and actually has a moral and message. It’s an amazing and perhaps underrated story that more people need to have respect for and watch. I truly believe that if more people watched Star Trek and learned from it, the world would be a better place.
RIP Jerry Goldsmith, absolute genius!
I agree. He was the best since John Williams
Ooohhh, now I get it. Yesss 😍✨
Voyeger theme and enterpriseing young men are the best ever!!!
Star Trek, where the future is filled with hope, adventure, danger and surprise of a better life. Long may it live long and prosper.🖖
Star Trek Forever and Ever ...
The continuing mission....
to eplore strange new worlds....
Not with Jar Jar Abrams at the helm.
To seek out new life forms and new civilizations.......
These are the voyage of starship enterprise..
i just Love the First Contact Main title Theme its Like the theme for the Enterprise-E Sleak, Elegant ..... Beautiful
I know there are a lot of folks who just love to rag on JJ’s Trekverse, but one of the things I did like about the JJTrek films, besides the excellent cast, is the music which sets the theme and tone of the films quite well... but I also have a soft spot in my heart for Jerry Goldsmith’s scores for the TOS and TNG movies.
Agreed! Music and Cast makes JJ's movies worthwhile.
*Lens flare enters the chat*
Voyager themes and archers theme really brings my tears out, I had to hold out cos there are peoples here, don't want them asking why I cry
Any one that's into Star Trek would know why you cry. I do as well, I just don't care if i cry or what people think. I remember when i went to see The Wrath of Kahn, I cried when Spock died and his monolog at the end tore me apart.
The DS9 theme is amazing, love it.
I love the look of Captain James T. Kirk and Captain Kathryn Janeway.
I know right there just like don't mess with me or I'll shoot first and ask questions later lol. I know this will make people mad but I like to think as Janeway as captain kirk's daughter or just a female version of Kirk cause there so badass.
Stephen Clark true..That two are my favorites
I find Archer’s look to be the most funny/awkward as he’s basically just staring to the side.
I guess it is kinda off topic but do anybody know a good website to stream new tv shows online ?
@Jaxxon Jason i watch on Flixzone. Just google for it =)
The entire Star Trek series was my all time favorite TV shows I grew up since my childhood. To all the Trekkies, LIVE LONG AND PROSPER. \\//
🖖🏻
In 1967, I was four and we had a tiny color TV. Star Trek made a huge impression on me. I loved the series more than Rat Patrol and Batman. I was enthralled with more than the opening music. I thought that Capt. Kirk was the greatest man next to my Uncle Travis who came to visit us from Vietnam in his highly starched khakis. William Shatner is up there with Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Steve McQueen and Paul Newman.
Amazing to you 👍
I was 10 in 1992 when first time star trex TNG in Indonesia. Almost 30 years still remain in my mine👍
I agree with everything that you wrote.
I love Star Trek forever.
Forever
Forever
Janeway is soo epic on that picture.
First Contact overture is my favourite Star Trek Track. It's a beautiful throwback to the moment when the ST Franchise had it's Peak!
This is brilliant, loved every track. The First Contact theme tune still gives me goose bumps.
Me too.
It's so underrated.
The First Contact theme was amazing. It perfectly captures the hope, mystery, and yearning for exploration that is Star Trek.
Adam Gaucher Guess You Weren't A Fan Of Star Trek
I don't understand your comment. I am a fan of Star Trek, have been since I was about 6 years old.
I love Star Trek for ever
Me too
me too
Kirk in the center poses like a freaking badass :D
Of course. How many times has Kirk and his crew save Earrh and the universe…
Star Trek will never die.
Chills and goosebumps to the skin each time I listen.
First Contact... I don't know why, but it is the one that really moves me.
First Contact will always be my favorite.
Those tunes will live for ever on our souls !
voyager theme still does it for m3
Excellent inclusion! That Star Trek crew deserves it, too!
I remember when Voyager premiered . The theme was so riveting, and when the warp nacelles raised before it went into warp blew me away. I jumped to my feet and loudly said Get the f out!!! LOL
I still remember that first Star ⭐️ Trek movie 🎥 that we saw in December 25th,1979.I was with my cousin when I saw it.The Star ⭐️ Trek series I remember seeing in reruns, back in the early 1970”s.But,looking back,I knew that we grew up ⬆️ with this show. And,those old James Blish books are still for sale in bookstores!
The music, over the years, has evolved significantly..and has helped to elevate the star trek franchise to a higher standard..
Star trek is a legend and Legends never die
When the first two tracks end suddenly in the first few seconds, I was physically hurt.
Wonderful emotional journey, I'm old enough that i saw the StarTrek the Motion picture in the Cinema. The pioneer that was to be first of many... Thank You :)
wombraider091 - I grew up watching Kirk as a child on the original (and best) NCC-1701.
I discovered TNG while in college and began to love the adventures of Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the 1701-D.
I was in my 1st marriage during DS9 and Voyager, so I'm very fimiliar with Sisko and Captain Kate. My second marriage began almost at the same time as Enterprise with Captain Archer. So, you could say that I'm an original Star Trek fan and can appreciate all the TV series and movies. I've seen them all.
I also watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture in the cinema when it was first released. I fell asleep. The next time I attempted to watch it was at Christmas on TV. I fell asleep again. I wasn't dubbed by film critics 'Star Trek: The *slow* Motion Picture' for nothing!
For me, I'd grown up watching Trek and was a part of the first write in campaign to save it on TV! While pregnant with my firs child at age 27 we had to drive out of state to go see the first ST movie and I watched my husband fall asleep and snore! We made it home the following day because it had started snowing while we were in the theater and ended up camped out in a local cheap hotel with me huge, pregnant, and uncomfortable. I was pregnant with my second son for #2. Both sons have always been absolute Trekkies along with me! I've never missed an opening of any ST movies regardless of how old and beat up my body has gotten!
I am 13 and i am like the only star trek freak i know its sad :(
But sometimes my brother plays star trek online with me...
Same here, lol... 😁👍🏽
Spock's monologue topped everything from the ending of II can never get enough of that
Thanks for including Enterprise and some of the movies.
I am glad there was no sudden random burst of "IT IS BEEN A LONG ROAD~" any where in this video.
I love that song !
@@scottwebster2135 So do I + Inner Light is missing... and yet, the horrible JJtreks were included... to each their own, we can't have everything... and have it only according to our wishes
@@FildasKirk Think on the bright side. In the Star Trek universe, it's simply a differing timeline.
We are very fortunate that we have these wonderful theme's ,but alas we will never be able to add to them as Jerry Goldsmith has passed on,as so many that where involved in the Star Trek series have now pasted on.I am guessing the William will be the next one we lose as he is in his late 80's now, and for me star trek, will be dead in my mind,I love the way you played this music in the order that you did, and i thank you as i have watched every single show and movie and enjoyed them all,Thank you Gene and all the actors that have been in the Star Trek Universe.
We've lost so many of who made Star Trek, the show we grew to love no matter where in it's running we were introduced to it. The hope and wonder it brought us may have disappeared from the world with each loss but, it will forever live grow and encourage us to share it with more, to further spread the same to all that we may.
The message and vision of Star Trek embodies hope for humanity - and celebrates the spirit of innovation, exploration, and discovery. Although its depictions may not have always been pretty (or, perhaps consistent) - the underlying themes are life-affirming: Courage, Dedication, Duty, Effort, Compassion, Selflessness, Fairness, Equality, Sacrifice, Freedom, Liberty, Justice.
Star Trek is timeless. Loving Picard Season 3. I watched Star Trek before I was a professional and now being in the IT field, loving it more and more.
雖然劇情進展有夠慢的至少是ST新影集
Yeah, I heard Season 3 was better.
I like 12:49 (Voyager intro) the most :D
Ricardo Alexis Nolazco Contreras yea, it just has that powerful, and overall determined vibe that you get from Star Trek. I don't like Voyager that much, but it's theme has to be one of the best themes for S.T out there
me too ;D
Followed closely by TNG's theme ;)
Me too, I like Voyarger's most, Archer's second.
Of i haer voyager than must i crying
Oh man I have tears in my eyes!!
This is an EXCELLENT mix of Star Trek music! I'm a social worker and sitting in my office doing paper work listening to this. Great job!
Thanks I loved making it
This is one of the best compilations of Star Trek music I've came across.
First contact always makes me emotional for some reason.
Thank you for this compilation..... exactly what I wanted to hear all together..... 🖖🏽
Welcome to the new baby : Star Trek Discovery 😍💞.
Centory we all shall be Trekies, Forever!
And as of 2020 welcome Star Trek Picard
HELL NO!
STAR TREK. To Live Long and Prosper.
I think that Star Trek Voyager is the best themes from the RV series and that Star Trek First Contact is the best Movie opening scores
Star Trek Voyager is my favorite.
This music brings out so much emotion for me while i was working on my section Growing up with my dad in Gary Hill book The Other Oswald
so strange but its true there are even pic of me in the book !
*I Know every part of every tune of every movie played, THANKS...♥*
My name is james t kirk of the uss enterprise ncc 1071
Nothing evokes memory quite in the same way as music, every time they switched to a new tune I was transported, wonderful stuff.
Ralphie_Boy Thierry la Fronde
Its kinda funny that in the pic all the captains look confident and ready, then there is Archer who looks confused...really captured the feel of Enterprise :)
the thing that most people forget about Enterprise is that that was the beginning, they were just making it up for everyone else to follow. Talk about real pressure, every Starship captain to follow had more guidelines than Archer, he was always having to think on his feet.
Sums it up about right.
Your right, Scott Bakula as Archer seems a bit confused in this collage. Captain Sisko, Avery Sisko, seems to have a "what ever" attitude. Those two shots were probably stills from episodes. The others of Kirk, (Shatner), Picard, (Stewart) and Janeway (Mulgrew) seem to be actual promo shots.
And Archer really captures the feel of George W. Bush.
Star Trek Enterprise with Archer as Captain is my favorit one.
I have seen it so often....
Oh Data, i miss you so much. The most humane non-human character ever portrayed in any ST series or movie. Let this marvelous machine that became more than the sum of its parts be an example for all of us
i listen to this while studying
i feel like i'm doing something very important and helpful to humanity
*All the tracks new and old were super thank you very much!*
Thank you for posting this, I now use it as background music while I'm writing!
very nice perfect blend of all treks
6:50 Star Trek 2009 "Enterprising Young Men" is the best..
are you a star trek fan?
julianjjz do you know anything about musical composition?
@@samhesketh that wasnt an insult. Was just curious if star trek fans are biased
Yes
I like all of them but my heart is for 9:29. The truth is that I really can't say one is better than another one, the're all amazing and each one perfectly embodies the spirit of Star Trek in an extraordinary way. Amazing music
All of this music still brings a tear to my eyes.
I have all of the movies and when i watch them I'll play the opening theme four or five times before the movie starts. I just can't get enough of the music of Star Trek. It brings tears to my eyes as well.
With all the major captains in the series being still alive I always thought it would be awesome if they did some sort of Captain Reunion special in one of the current star trek franchises.
Bring Kirk back somehow, then Picard, Janeway, Sisko, then some sort of time anomalie brings in Archer. Potentially Michael Burnham and Sulu could at least make an appearance, but the special would focus on those who were Captain throughout the entire run on their particular series.
This is an opportunity which needs to be seized as Shatner is in his early 90s.
Now i understand Star Trek: Hope
Very enjoyable! Added it to my Star Fun list, so I can find it again and again,
thank you so much , this is now my go to chill out selection
wonderful!!! brings back a lot of great memories for me each theme songs. god bless you.
Handsome compilation.... hope will reach the Star Trek society... At least on earth... Right now the chaos rules. Thx very much for this mix and best regards from Germany
Just the best show ever

Melvyn Raquin n;
Thank you for this man!
Fantastic mix. Bravo!
thank you so much for this breath taking journey. you'd receive an academy award if it was mine to give - for best feature mix music scores in science fiction (if there was such a category)
I love this compilation. Great job.
Nice compilation.
I love the majesty and hopeful joy in the music.
What is beautiful about this image is that each have their particular ship/station.
I am glad that Cliff Eidelman's score is also included, because It seems to me that It's often overlooked in concerts/compilations and highly uderrated,
Awesome tracks. Very moving.
thank you so much
I love this mix it's the best one yet and their pics, too!! Thank you for making this it helps inspire me and get me moving for my day!! I will always love Star Trek!!🥰
I love every one star trek theme's
Finest music that I prefer always!!!
Brilliant compilation
First contact gets me every damn time
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
My best friend from high school died today. This in my opinion is for her.
Oh my, terrible!
My 2 year old daughter would lay on our bed and watch every Star Trek episode with me. She would sing the theme song with me and we always giggled after hitting the final high note-my DD is 50 now😅
Great collection!!!
Wonderfull Hits for ever...
best one yet, didn't connect the pieces between tax writeoffs and art prices. thanks!
I have rewatched TNG and Voyager 2 years ago. but still haven't watched DS9.....this DS9 soundtrack brings back memories.
I just got goosebumps listening to Leonards Nimoys voice !
