Oh no, Suites 3 & 4 have disappeared!! I hate this, not only because I really liked them, but also because all of your hard work lost... Any chance of bringing them back somehow?
TheRichrocker Shoot, you're right... that's disheartening. I might have a few ideas to try soon. I'll also see what it would take to put them up on Vimeo too. I might need others to reupload them if they ever try to shut down my channel. 😕
Please do try, if possible - I'd really hate it if all of your great and hard work would be lost. I seriously don't understand these "copyright vultures"...
This Soundtrack reminds me of a simpler time. When being a teenager. And your idol was Kirk, Picard, Sisko and Janeway. People who fought for what is right. Not was is ordered. A Series that was trying to teach things... I think Star Trek was the thing that taught me what is right and wrong. To not go into violence but talk with people. To listen. To always believe we can be better than we are. And whilest playing space engineers I brought on that track just to give me space vibes... Now? Well, I am all in my star trek phase again. With the new Picard Series. But more into watching the old again. To boldly go. These are the voyages of Star Trek. And its so deep in my heart, that I listen to this with goosebumps. Live long and prosper. Thanks for the upload man!
Very well said!! I feel the same way, might (violence) does not make right, listening and understanding is what make sustainable peace possible. In addition, the humbling effect that outer space brings to a person to realize how vast space is and how small we really are. Definitely miss that type of SciFi that brings a sense of wonder and mystery into a life. Keeps your imagination running for weeks if not years, wondering what is truly possible in this great cosmos of ours.
26:38-27:28 - Captain Jean-Luc Picard: This is a story...a very ancient one, from Earth. And, um, I'll try and remember it. Gilgamesh, a king. Gilgamesh, a king. At Uruk. He tormented his subjects. Essentially, Darmok represents what Star Trek means in one episode: The frustration about the inability of every human to communicate properly has to be replaced by the compassion and empathy to realize that someone on the other side is also struggling with the same issue.
Star Trek had so much going for it. great stories, great production, great actors, great music, great characters. A total winner all the way around. So many YEARS of enjoyment from the many series. I think Star Trek was an American treasure. Thaniks for posting this!
***** Star Trek will always be a part of our culture. It has not passed and expect that it will continue on. It has inspired mankind in so many ways. Roddenberry would be so pleased. He's probably up there in the stars somewhere, grooving on it as we all still do!
+clydesight Its not just an American treasure, its an international treasure. I am 16 and I come from Bulgaria. I started watching star trek a year ago and tell you what: I have never seen something so good. It changed my views for the world. Now I am a tolerant and understanding person, but only two years ago I was a man who totally disapproved of things such as gay marriage (and on top of that I was racist towards the gypsies, because everyone in Bulgaria hates them and they teach us to hate them just because they are poor and live in misery). Now I am a totally different person. I think that if Star Trek was shown to the kids in school and they were taught about the Star Trek philosophies, the world would be a completely different place nowadays.
Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. It's ongoing mission - to explore new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.
18:17 Probably one of my favorite moments of "Best of Both Worlds", if not out of the entire series. That moment when Picard puts down that tea cup realizing that he was just carrying on like everything was OK, but in reality he just went through one of the most horrifying experiences of his lifetime and he almost lost everything.
Deep Night Me more than most, and yes I literally screamed and scared the hell out of my mom. I had graduated high school and was joining the military, was going to be in boot camp when the next season (the exciting conclusion) premiered. I didn't know what happened and didn't get to finally see it 'til YEARS later.
Tyrannicus, I don't know if you're still here after all this time. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that your suites refresh my study and work time. I'm a huge Trek fan and they give me some comfort while I deal with sometimes uncomfortable tasks. I'm able to point down most of the tracks to the moments where they were used and they almost always bring up memories of me watchting Trek in different phases of my life. Kind of emotional sometimes for me. Thank you for your effort, you maybe can't imagine what a gift you made for me with these suites. You truly belong in that uniform!
Tyrannicus, I have listened to your suites, musical compilations that are made with real feeling for the mood of the suite theme that you have pulled together. I have to say, you are capturing the very essence of these themes with the music you are pulling together. You really have an understanding of what it takes to move people with your work. I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to do all of this. It's simply amazing work and the results are spectacularly superb.
Out of all the suites this one is the most heartfelt for me. Alot of this music got me through tough times, the reason i am still alive. Thanks for uploading this. ❤
21:09 and what's next ellicit an emotional response in me. It's like a journey to my past with the hope of tomorrow. Star trek music helps me going all inside me and do introspection. So blessed to have known it 🌌😍✨
Star Trek has always been an inspiration to me because it gives me hope for the future. It also taught me that peace between different views is not only possible but achievable. Ships are not always meant for war but a symbol of peace. On the other hand, this is really great work!!!!
This is a fantastic piece. So soothing and peaceful. You truly did the music justice with this mix. Congratulations sir. Funny thing, as i was reading the description and i got to the "inner light" paragraph, the iconic flute piece from that episode started to play as if rewarding me for taking the time to read the description :) I think Star Trek has always hed some of the greatest composers in the business.
We own the entire ST collection of everything. I've seen the movies countless times. Listening to the music singularly, however, is unbelievably moving. I, too, am brought to tears. I am so grateful for the sensation of sound and for these gifted composers.
I love the All Good Things music. Any episode with Q was such a writing triumph. 37:11 - "Good-bye, Jean-Luc... you had such potential; but all good things must come to an end." 38:43 - "...I'll be watching. And if you're very lucky, I'll stop by to say hello from time to time. See you... out there."
17:20 "I am Locutus of Borg. Resistance if futile. Your life, as it has been, is over. From this time forward, you will service us." 17:38 "Mr. Worf... Fire."
20:41 and what's next is a caress to the soul. Stunning beautiful piece of art, so deep and kinda magical. Brought tears to my eyes 😍💖🌌 And 22:13 and what's next is jusy uaau, so beautiful, so deep. Makes me feel hope on our earth despite all that we know. Star trek is a masterpiece omg 💖💖💖
My dad loved the Next Generation Series because there were people in his age range on the show. He was both a solider and also Mechanical Engineering major at NC A&T State University back in the day.
Love the music when Picard finds out about the death of Rene (43.40 ish) and the transition into the Amargoza Observatory scene. Not all of this was on my Generations CD. Brilliant work!
Monsieur je viens de vous découvrir, j'adore ce que vous nous présenter. Formidable musique dans nos oreilles, quel plaisir. Merci beaucoup .From Montréal.👏👏👏
McCarthy did some incredible work in Generations. The soundtrack to that film was stunning! 40:08 had some real feels about it, with 46:00 tension leading to 47:08 for that scene for the warp jump... those two notes... genius!
Just hearing that opening suit where you meet Picard and see the Ent-D for the first time makes me want to cry. Makes me sad that the new Picard series isn't as hopeful as TNG. I miss that hopeful adventure feeling that Star Trek use to give.
Probably my favorite one of yours. Great job sir. After playing Generations at the end, I was wondering how you were going to top it and, of course, you play the TNG theme! Genius.
What is the theme from that's at 18:55-20:40, leading right up to the Inner Light flute theme? I can't quite place the episode/moment it's from. Specifically the melody that starts at 19:50.
+Ovrkyl Not sure - but for the "Inner Light"? I just give into it and cry. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. That one song, like the "tears in rain" soliloquy in Blade Runner just hits the heart like a sledge hammer.Knocks down all your defenses.

Can I make a "request"?: I badly wish you could make a suit that has solely the tone/vibe/feeling of the first 30 seconds...or basically the normal TNG opening before the horn comes in. Just this very mysterious vibe going on and on...this would be so awesome
The Enterprise-D was a tough ship who met her end from renegade Klingons after fighting tooth and nail against the Borg the Cardassians and the Romulans and various other alien vessels.
I know the one theme in this was from The Best of both worlds but did anybody else besides me kind of noticed that there were a couple of segments of that that not only sounded like it was the same as yesterday's Enterprise but was also from the very first episode of DS9 where the Saratoga was destroyed.

They should be done by the end of the day.

Best cliffhanger ever.
GAH the inner light music gets me every time.... that penny whistle tune just sticks with you...
20:42 "The Inner Light" Hands-down the best (and consistently voted #1) all-time ST episode. Heartbreaking and beautiful.
The Inner Light (and to a lesser extent it's follow up "lessons" really do symbolise everything great about Star Trek).
I'd say DS9s the Quickening comes close.
I miss tng so much.
It's on Netflix.

Having watched TNG multiple times and considering it as my all time favorite show, I'm not afraid to admit I tear up during 4:00 "Skin of Evil"
Fantastic!
Great Thanks from Germany! :)
By the Picard! I could listen to your suite for hours! McCarthy's music for TNG is full of subtlety and texture ❤

Love this. Been watching all the Next Gens all over again. Also had to make note that my like was number 420. Perfect Zen. xD
51:00 is music from Generations, I think, but it's very reminiscent of Way of the Warrior which was made shortly afterwards.
My dad loved the Next Generation Series because there were people in his age range on the show. He was both a solider and also Mechanical Engineering major at NC A&T State University back in the day.
Never has a theme song in all of TV and cinema invoked so much emotion in me than Picard's flute song does.
Delighted to hear Part 5 at last. Well worth the wait. And I see Part 2 is up also. Going to that after this and then all 5 in a row!
Wonderful, wonderful rendition of 'The Inner Light"!
Awesome suite.
Good stuff.
The beginning is just beautiful and magical
Wow. Nice suite
The part at 0:38 could be the introduction to the 1701-F.
Love the music when Picard finds out about the death of Rene (43.40 ish) and the transition into the Amargoza Observatory scene. Not all of this was on my Generations CD. Brilliant work!

Probably my favorite one of yours. Great job sir. After playing Generations at the end, I was wondering how you were going to top it and, of course, you play the TNG theme! Genius.

love that horn solo at 18:38
Gahwlee i love the flute solo from Inner Light.
Most impressive!

So much of Jupiter Holst in the Generations Ending its so awesome
Awesome, I have listened to them all before and never commented on them, so, I suppose I should drop a comment, Awesome Job keep it up.
another great startrek mix
skin of evil, the funeral music still makes me cry to this day.
.....GRACIAS.....
Dude. these are bloody amazing!
I also like the theme they use in "phantasms" , and night terrors, those were very distinguished.
Love the Best of Both Worlds!
4 People are Klingon saboteurs. How could anyone not like this?!
Listening to this while I play stellaris
Awesome!
1:18:17 Where is that from? The 'Generations' soundtrack?
That's right.
Where did you find a clean recording of the Second season intro without Patrick Stewart's opening monologue or the other sound effects
The Star Trek The Next Generation Collections released La-La Land Records have the cleanest releases so far. I believe it came from those.
Love these!!!
Bravo!
Marvellous music for a "superbe" tvshow, full of hope and dignity for the human kind, in a better version than us, sadly.
absolutely fantastic!
Love this one! I really hope you do get around to a Borg one :)
"Q! We're Here! This has gone on long enough!"
Thank you ! :-)

Amazing video man!
Oh Wow.
1:18:17... what is that from!?!?!? it's so beautiful!
Symphonic Star Trek: Star Trek Generations theme. It had a different ending to the theme that I liked.
11:10 - We have engaged the Borg…
Listen to a few seconds of this and the way it just gives off optimism and then you will understand why Picard sadly cannot compete with this.
The Enterprise-D was a tough ship who met her end from renegade Klingons after fighting tooth and nail against the Borg the Cardassians and the Romulans and various other alien vessels.
And this is related... how?

I mean is it related to the video?
It is after all a video about the voyages of the Enterprise-D

20:40, yes. Yes yes yes.
On that intro, all that's missing is Professor X reading the Star Trek intro...
