Hey everyone, thanks for the great response. I'm currently in central Australia trying to get home. Warhorse is fully loaded with fuel and I'm heading west through 'real desert country' as the locals say ... wish me luck.
Goodluck man
Good luck misterrrrr!!
Adam, I’ve been trying to find anything discussing your thoughts on the triumph tiger but I haven’t had any luck. I’d love to hear what you think good or bad. You rock man, thx for all the hard work on your content!
so..I hope you got home just fine. sure busy putting a video together .. just throw in a few words for us in the meantime, how did the bike do getting you home? Maybe I missed it, but what was the issue with the backfire on the Warhorse?
Best off luck for you Adam!
"You know you got one life on this planet.. you owe it to yourself to see as much of it as you can" this is going to be with me forever. Thanks Adam for this wonderful film.
Been fortunate and visited 68 countries ;-) and I completely agree.....
Man, those drone tracking shots through the sand was insane!
Its going to be really existing to see you that "follow me" tracking tech will develop in the years to come.
@@oOKAMAKAYAOo yea I’m so amazed to see that how far it has come now. It literally does a one person job and now doing that dynamic cinematic angles is just next level.
“The Desert King has mounted the Desert Queen” hahaha Epic! That old bike is incredible. It was absolute destiny that bike came to you Adam .
Ben's a class act. Teaching someone he knows will be his direct competitor everything he knows for the love of the sport/competition. Other guys would have kept nuggets of wisdom to themselves for the competitive advantage.
Man I have no words brother, this is one of the best bike videos/movies Ive seen. like when you guys rode through the river bank, damn so gorgeous. and looking at the spedometer being steady at 170 kph, omg through that kind of surface. Its like watching two dakar legends blasting through the desert. Adam this is just amazing. I hope the Warhorse is doing ok maybe needs some TLC. Cant wait for the next film brother. Just awsome I have no words. Keep sending it and stay strong brother.
Story teller, videographer, motorcycle rider, comedian, father, husband, clearly a good mate. Have I missed any hats? Safe travels Adam. And thanks mate for such an entertaining channel.
He s a mechanic as well.. :)
I thought the last episode was up there but adding Grabbo to the recipe takes it to the next level ❤ and as mentioned, everyone needs to immerse themselves in those landscapes. Hats off to Bob & Marge 👊👊
Adam, nothing short of Epic & Heartfelt. Two racers at heart, showing the true meaning of returning to your roots to enjoy the ride and reflect on a good life of racing & motorcycles..... not to mention to leave us with a cliff hanger on the Warhorse!!!...... Great video series brother!!
Just 2 mates catching up going for a ride, loved the banter and Grabbo's giggles is all we need not to mention 172kmh in the dirt!!! Awesome!!!
This was so good. Again epic footage and storytelling. The warhorse is battling the terrain like an old battle hardened samurai, really great stuff! Can’t wait for the next on and see how she does.
Woke up sick at 4am and open UA-cam to find this waiting for me. Thanks again for the content Adam. It's so much appreciated by so many
That was brilliant. Didn’t want it to end.
You guys weren’t muckin about.
I saw 170kph on the Husky speedo and I yelled out ‘Jesus Bloody Christ fellas’!
Awesome riding and vid as usual Adam!
👍👍
A mate, a motorbike and some amazing scenery. That's most that you need in life.
Great video, nicely paced. Thanks for thanking us on a trip most will never be able to do. Looking forward to the next one. 👍🤟
What a trip! The War Horse won't let you down, she just needs some love. What a loyal steed.
The production quality is from another world. This is probably the only video i could rewatch 30 times and still be impressed. Thank you so much for putting out this sky-high quality content, you are incredible.
Great, great job my friend.
They were the days , 7 wins for Honda 9 for Yamaha 6 for BMW . Great to see the Legend Grabbo run the War Horse. Good times .
Brilliant. Grabbo won Finke the year I entered in 2008. Fast bugger. Also, that reminded me of the year I saw both the Todd and Finke rivers flowing. It was either 2001 or 02. We were in Alice outside the pub after a Simpson crossing and decided to walk down to the river bed. All of a sudden we could hear this strange roar coming our way and looked on in awe as a wave of water swept down right past us. Very lucky to have seen that. Then we had to cross the Finke a couple days later to get back across the Simpson.
Thanks lads for digging up the memories. Can't wait for the next one. Hope the Warhorse is ok.
Fantastic trip, Following the dry riverbed to reach the road, then turns out the road is only slightly better .... 😂
Talking about the Dakar races reminds me of when I was a kid. Not that long ago. But I had a wall that had XT'S and Tenere models and Africa Twins and Transalps and even little T-Dubs hanging all over it. I was enamored by the idea of just "going wherever I wanted." The freedom of being on Pavement or Dirt Roads or Trails. Man. Love these videos.
Absolutely awesome. Hopefully the warhorse will be ok. She must be ok. fingers crossed. I have a big soft spot for the warhorse she was a good find in Norway and the life she has now is epic
Ah! The suspense!! 😅
Also, Ben seems like such a nice guy and his laughter gets me every time 😁 It's a little mischievous 😉
This lets an other Africa Twin Soul fly higher! Thanks for sharing. Inspired me to grab my Africa Twin for a ride now.
In the past 17 years I made arround 100k with RD04 and RD07 and you never get tired of it. Exceptional bike, trustfully and honest.
See you at the next ride, at least with UA-cam!
Drive Save and Ride free!
Thanks for sharing this with us, they just keep getting better! Getting to the essence of motorcycling (and a motorcyclists life) 🙂
Got myself a Cagiva Elefant 750 (1996) last year, first big bike. Dreaming of this type of riding here cold wet Sweden! Awesome seeing the old Africa twin in its element
Desert King is hilarious with his gentle giggles: minimum effort to answer his talkative companion, but with maximum effect for the viewer to understand what he is „saying“. Quite the Aussi-Style i guess
YES! Part two! The sunday and week is saved🤘
There is no better entertainment than this! I had a massive mail on my face throughout this whole adventure! You sure know when to crank to music and when to slow it down. The chuckle from the desert king is the funniest thing ever, I love his laugh! So many great memories and experience captured and shared! That footage in the sandy creek was insane! Thank you for this
I ride a Honda XRV750 Africa Twin and have a lot of fun with this bike.
Great video. Hoping the War Horse gets a clean bill of health. On an aside, back in the early to mid 1970's whilst in the NT for military exercises a mate and I were sent out one night, on motorcycles, to mount an observation point on the road paralleling the Ghan line south of Alice. We were on an XL175 and an XL350, both lent to our unit (Australian SAS Regt) by Honda in the hope that the trial of motorcycles in an operational sphere could lead to a contract. We picked a location under the cover of darkness, laid the bikes on their side and slept beside them. Next morning we were glad we had done this as unbeknown to us there was a rather large rabbit warren between us and the road, and as luck would have it a group of local indigenous decided they wanted rabbit for lunch that day so started taking pot shots at them. For risk of compromising the exercise we could only keep out heads down and hope for the best. We didn't even have live ammunition to shoot back with !! Funny how your footage in that area brought back the memory.
The grandfather, the trustworthy, the king! Honda africa twin never seems to get old.. if you ever come across this gem of bike on the road never overtake it give it the respect it deserves… btw i miss the giantloop saddlebag 😢
Mate.... this would have to be the best thing I've ever watched on UA-cam .
Can't wait for the next instalment.
I can confirm that tank water at Dalhousie is good to go.... got stuck into it last week on a unsupported Simpson ride. Was a bit nervous I might wake up in the middle of the night $hitting like a duck... but all was good.
Cheers to yaself and Grabbo for the entertainment 🍻
I wish i could come to australia someday with my bike. I wish to meet you adam. The man who ignited the spirit of bike for me. Love you from India❤
Great vid boys. Love it on bikes like the old XR's in the sand as the front and back end wiggle side to side in a sand dance. And when you look back at your tracks in the sand and see where the big single had its power stroke and leaves a little divot.
Amazing video as always! You two are such a great fit together out there
As a German living in Baden-Wrüttemberg I laughed at the yellow "nett hier" sticker on that pole at the end.. they are everywhere
Great to come along on a fantastic ride with a couple of mates…. Fantastic filming as well. The Warhorse won’t be beaten, she’ll always get you there! 👍
That would be one of the best videos I've seen. Two m8s just having a great time riding their bikes. Thanks for sharing and the work you put into it.
Only one thing … you’r the best in creating this kind of content. I send it to all tree of my son’s hoping the get inspired 😊
I like how Toby was Laughing most of the time
I happen to have an RD03 w/ 115,000km and. an RD07a w/ 109,000km. Both are in tip top condition and I ride the RD07a hard. Honda really made great bikes to go everywhere.
Two old mates, two bikes, few tins of beans, endless dirt tracks.... Epic. Wonderful bit of film, thank you Adam. Safe trip home!
Adam, the solidness of the Honda is a testament to your bike assembly & set up abilibies. The capabilities of the Honda either says incredible things about Honda's engineering or not much for bike development from all manufacturers for the last 30 years as it seems to match the Husky in all areas ?!
I love the background music.......Production quality is top notch
Hey Adam, your channel has sparked a dream I've had for so long. For that, I am so grateful. I just made an offer on a new African Twin, and the salesman just agreed. Thank you so much for sharing the love of riding. If I can't get to sleep tonight because of the excitement, I'm going to binge your videos.
War horse was in off-road mode the whole time 😎🤟🏼
My thoughts exactly....
As always beautifully presented some great scenery well done Adam what a magic ride
Can’t wait for part 3
Thanks
Dave
Absolutely, positively the best ADV productions on YT - what a series!
Exceptional videos, especially for Aussies living abroad👏
Best thing on UA-cam. Absolutely killing it👍
Having a friend that is like minded to do and enjoy a trip like this, priceless 👌
Grabham's laugh is classic. Inspiring film. Legends.
Honda motorcycles, where dreams come true 👍
Fantastic video. The Australian outback always amazed me, Dangerously Beautiful.
Absolutely killing it with this series!
Mate, loved every second
can't wait to see what happens to the warhorse
also please get Grabbo to push that Nordan explorer a little more and talk about it
Thanks again for putting in the time, that extra effort for all of us to ride with you.
And, those bird eye aerial views. Valued every second...
Thanks mate for sharing your journey.... some of us have kids and work commitments that have our focus till the future..... truly inspiring 🍻
I always look forward to your narrative. Simple yet soulful. Thanks once again.
One of the best story telling action packed short movie by you. The drama in the end makes my anxiety through the roof. Hope the war horse does not suffer a lot.
Nice episode. Grabo and Price were the Fink desert kings back in the day. Glad to see the journey continues.
As always beautifully presented and well done, what a magic ride. The best of the best - No. 1 THANK YOU !
Adventure riding and storytelling at its peak. This is riveting stuff. Cliffhanger and all! Can’t wait for the next installation.
2 of my favourite bikes in one video…heaven. I have the XRV in Auckland and the 901E in Hong Kong. Not many great rides in HK so live vicariously through your videos until I can return home…and what great content you create Adam. A true artisan of machine and story telling.
Beautiful landscapes, amazing riding skills, super friendship. On top of That the Proof That any bike can do it. Best regards from Portugal.
Another great video Riemann. where only camels go, you GO. GO the warhorse. If it wasn't for the likes of you and your good friends us non goers wouldn't see this sort of thing. Thank you.
Another wonderful film, properly put together. The digital world certainly makes this possible but for me the joy is seeing the Warhorse leading the way in all her analogue glory.
Hope she is just suffering from a little dust in the throat....
The portrait of your friend was awesome in this episode, we have seen him before! Your riding buddy since the early days as a UA-camr and now a portrait he well deserved. To share your journey with your brother in arms is great! Keep it up to the next one 💪🔥
Easily one of the most enjoyable videos I've watched. Thank you. Please keep them coming.
Ben, unos de los pocos riders que voló en las dunas del nihuil. Dakar Mendoza🥇
🏍️💨
Yes sir!
I’ve got a Norden 901 Expedition and love it!
As I do every one of your videos Adam!
Thanks for sharing!
It's a big country.... thank you for showing us.
Respect to both of you great men...
You embrace life and its solid meaning with your attitude...
What a trip! Thanks for taking us along
Amazing just amazing - the shots you've achieved absolutely capture the essence of this part of Australia - love the stories 'the war horse is bringing out the best war stories'
Timeless quotes at the intro. classic moto. Riding solo in tough off road conditions. Meeting up with a legend. Showcasing capabilities of bigger bikes in the right hands. What hits me most is the potential adventure that lies ahead of you when you’ve spent so much time dedicated to adventure motorcycling. My only exception is that rear tire. I think it was designed for something less extreme. 👏
Grabbo "it's like watching a cruise ship!" as you guys ripped through the creeek bed
One day. One day I’ll get to ride the open areas like this. Such beautiful country. 🙌 For now I’ll keep enjoying the southeast US.
Thats the best of life. two friends riding bikes, talking about bike end enjoying life
Cheers guys entertaining to say the least-reminded me of a trip I did in 94 where we came across a Pom on a Africa-twin up on the Mitchell plateau- he was coming back along the Kalumburu Road -which was in pretty bad shape -One section he said took him a day and a half to go 80k’s he told us he had 28 punctures-when we saw the bike, you would understand why -somebody had built a total aluminium luggage system that covered the whole back of the motorcycle i’m pretty sure he had a kitchen sink in there somewhere-with everything he had on that bike we reckoned it must’ve weighed very close to 400 kg.
So happy for you guys kicking dirt together
We addicted to your video s really its feel like a filim ❤from India
As always, Adam, you capture what it is all about so well!
Classic. Can't wait for Part II 👍👍👍 !!
Well that was brilliant. Thanks Adam, and Grabbo.
Truly epic adventure and so well done! Thanks for the consistently great content.
How can anyone be so good?!
Cliffhanger! What an epic episode, again. Your adventures on the warhorse are as remarkly told as your other films. Highly recommended. Thanks for your chanlle, Günter/Nürnberg, Germany
Epic ride! We sure do live in the best country in the world! Thanks for sharing & carry on! 😁👍🏁🏍🏍🏁🐪
wow ..absolutely incredible .. Dear Adam , its so good to see you adventuring and re defining adventure for me .. theres no doubt you are a master story teller of adventure ... but in this film , you have outdone yourself , technically .. cant believe how you are a one man content creator and shooting all this by yourself , not just that compiling all that footage from different devices , getting the go pro angle right ! on the helmets , to sync sound to the drone shots with audio playing off the go pro .. really engaging .. and all of that aside .. you created a film that i just couldnt stop watching , you sir ,are inspiring in so many ways .. thank you for all these amazing films .. Also, riding the africa queen makes me appreciate my africa twin so much more .. i see the ancestor still in action and makes me appreciate the pedigree so much more .. thank you Adam.
Another great episode of adventure, word smithery and narration.
Man you are an awesome story teller ! What an awesome adventure and great riding.
All of your videos are great! I find myself not wanting them to end.
Absolutely amazing, well done!
Just awesome! Thanks Adam, and Ben. Fantastic Channel 👍
Wholesome Sunday viewing
Motology rocks! This is one of if not THE best motorcycle movie on UA-cam. Thank you so much for making this
Increíble que paisajes, Australia es impresionante, ansioso de ver la segunda parte.....grandes pilotos 😅😅😅
What a fulfilling life as a man I hope I experience this once before I depart ❤
Bloody fantastic content again, inspiring stuff ... Australia is THE adventure riders paradise for sure 👊💯
