Couldn’t agree more and nearly fell off my chair with the guys comment 😁but this must be 1 of then best videos have watched on UA-cam over the years a real adventure on a bike what an experience would love to take a bike through the Himalayas but too old for that as Adam says am 1 of those itinerary rider nowadays😆
India is just legendary, All that heavy breathing reminds me of the time when I rode with my girlfriend in the Himalayas on an Himalayan. I could relate to it, she was the pillion rider and with the bike's weight and her weight in such technical terrain I had to cook the clutch plates and the brake pads too. Just like you said I just don't give a fuck. Halfway through I had to pop an altitude sickness pill because I started hearing my heartbeat through my ears and I was about to pass out while riding. Im from Sri Lanka living in the UAE coming from these areas and suddenly seeing the snow and riding through these snow covered mountains just blew my mind. I just love India and soon I shall return to this magical land. Inshallah.❤❤
Great work Adam. Got back yesterday from Ladakh, India, where I rode a black and gold Himalayan. I rode with my 22 year old son so your father and son recollection had me misty eyed. You're right about changing perspective to understand the world better, and about doing adventurers whilst we still can, especially with family. We rode the high road passes up to nearly 6,000m altitude, and found some roads not yet on the maps. The Himalayan was ideal with its soft suspension and soft power. Melb, Australia. Beep beep.
I found some comfort in that snow part. Last winter when my car engine was broken I rode my little Honda CRF250L to work troughtout the winter, temps -25C, snow storms, snow, ice and darkness. And while I had studs in my tyres and elevation was nothing compared, it was whole new part of motorcycling, that taught me lots of new skills. I always wanted to start winter riding but was little too scared to begin. But when my car engine blew, something good came out of something bad, I was "forced" to do it. While I have rebuild the engine, I will ride to work next winter too! Its a little personal adventure within my everyday life and I get to ride motorcycle all year around. Awesome video as always! Regards from Finland.
Superb.. loved it. Arvind is a legend in my books. He is a brilliant rider and goes out of his way to help other riders on the road. He also runs a motorcycle touring enterprise called Touring bugs. Well done my friend, Arvind 👍🏽
love that scene when you riding in that freaking frozen road, and saying "Being alive is when your brain put you into situation and it's up to you HEART and SOUL to get you out of it.."🤟your a brave man and inspirational!☝
Tackling difficult terrain at high altitude is a different level of bravery and skill… and shooting it on top of that! Just incredible. Thank you for this.
Well done to the Royal Enfield team and the fantastic support fellow Arvin. They planned a stunning route that has allowed Adam to make this beautiful film. I predict that the film is going to grow in fame and continue to attract viewers for many years. This is the best possible way to promote Royal Enfield bikes.
Adam your videos are helping me through the most difficult time in my life mate and i can't thank you enough. I just lost my father who I was very close with, my house, and work is slow. The only happiness in my life currently comes from adventure moto and your videos strike deep mate. Thank you bro from the bottom of my heart.
Just about the most epic 5 minutes of motorbike riding I've ever seen. For me, this is what it's all about. A remote land, just you and the bike, steeling yourself against the conditions, taking each mile as it comes, and getting it done.
Sorry for Rothang Tunnel Adam. I was a technical consultant for tunneling through the complicated geology at the South portal. My daughter and I did Rothang pass on an old Bullet 350 back in 2010. BTW I believe you are confusing stubbornness for perseverance. I am back in India since last year for a new underground construction project in Uttarakhand. Got myself a Hanle Black 450 and love it to bits. As much fun as my HP2 Enduro back home in South Africa
@@MotologyFilms I am married to a beautiful Himachali lady that I met when working there. The Rothang pass tunnel was built by Indian contractors. A huge challenge due to its length, geology and the harsh winters both on the Solang/Manali side and the South portal. My father passed away some years ago and like you I did not always have the best times with him while I was younger. Later on we became true friends and I connect with him still from time to time. Waiting for another Motonomad movie from you. Thanks for your exemplary contribution to the biking community all over the world.
Probably the most authentic review of this machine to date. Absolute dedication! If the Enfield can take it, it's definitely good enough for all of us! Thank you for putting yourself out there. Very inspiring!
I have done this route in July in my Moto. I don't really know who else have traversed Shinkula Top on a Moto when it's covered in snow and ice. Your Moto skills have always been infectious. Good to see you in my country Mr. Warhorse. Welcome! and happy adventures. Cheers!
I've watched lots videos of people riding through the Himalayas, never seen anyone do it through the snow and ice. Your courage, and bike control, are remarkable.
Thank you Adam, I very much enjoy your vlogs. I live quietly I have ridden from Mumbai to London 2019 to change my life and to raise funds for Beyond Blue and the Black Dog Institute. Last year from LA to Santiago Chile. Next year I am planning to ride from Byron to Perth and then from Cape Town to Australia. I would appreciate talking with you prior to my departure. Adam’s photo in front of the bike and the warhorse in front of the cruise ship of the fjord are surely two of the most epic motorcycle photos ever taken! Pure adventure
