The opening 3 minutes remembering your father gave me the goosebumps, thank you for sharing your thoughts and sensitivity. Life is short but life goes on, looking forward to when you do your 1st adventure with your kids, as do I
I lost my dad when I was 12 and he was 43. Three years after that moment I bought my first motorcycle, just because he and my granddad always rode, bought and sold motorcycles when they were younger. Now I’m 72 and I still ride. I can only dream of riding with my father. You made this dream visible and within imagination. There’s a lot going on in my mind. I thank you for that!
This one hit close to home lost my dad at 19 he taught me how to ride and was my coach for 15 years of racing. He died before we could ride on the street together. Great video cant wait to see the rest of the series and the Iron horse.
I have no words, but tears in my eyes. I watched breathlessly this masterpiece ! And if your father is watching it from somewhere upstairs, he must be very proud of his son. Thank you for the opportunity to watch this beautiful journey and hear this story at the same time. Thank you, master. And the journey continues .........
I wish I had the chance to experience this with my dad, 3 years ago he passed away just as I was starting to get into adventure riding.... and he was the man who got me into motorcycles.... you're a lucky man!!
Toured near these areas in the 70s with my mother and brother. The leaf spring in our jeep cracked. Stranding us for a while. Don't remember how we got it fixed but many others helped out. Family is originally from Kashmir. But that is 1600-1800 years ago. Went to Goa until the Portuguese came 400 years ago. We then moved down south. But our stories still point north. In the mid 80s on a south Indian beach absent of any tourist I met a man in a leather jacket, Levi jeans and boots on a BMW bike. A curious sight. He had traveled from the south east of The Netherlands to the south west of India through the middle east. It startled him when I spoke to him in Dutch. He took a step back, confused. Adam is now riding the path that few riders have before. He is stepping it up. Meeting the land, the people and himself. And, now again he is taking all of us with him!
That gate wardens kind gesture touch on the shoulder of approval when you said Australian was very kind and endearing 'nod of approval ' anyone could ever get! What a way to start your journey. That touch on the shoulder is almost like your dad reaching through that warden and making the approval express as certainty to the warden....... Welcome start brother 👌 very emotional
What a great trip. In October I'm riding to Upper Mustang on a moto trip with my son. He's 29 and I'm 64. I pickup my new Himi 450 in the morning. I've been riding his Himi 410 for the last few weeks while waiting for my bike. Thanks for sharing your adventure. I'm really looking forward to our adventure.
Once again you've proven why you are the best in the business. That was absolutely enthralling. The scenery is spectacular and the beginning when you remember your dad was very moving. I had goosebumps a few times watching this. I cannot wait for the next episode.
I am extremely happy to see such Beautiful scenes you portrayed about our country. I love to ride adventurous journey and lost in Nature. I am running Nature Lover motorbike rental service in Pokhara, Nepal. My main motive is to promote tourism in Nepal. And facilitate to explore Nepal by all riders who from all around the world. Thank you sir portraying Nepal 🇳🇵 to the world.
I had a tough relationship with my hero and it bothered me for a very long time. Until I grew older, better understood the challenges of life and was able to see he was a man with his own history and I could come to peace with the situation and our relationship and love him for what he was. He passed when I was early twenty, wish I could have had such an epic journey with him. Bless you both you have had that together. 🙏
This is the best production I have seen for along time from you. Just adventure. Not marketing brands you work with. They are there with gear and tyres. But it’s not promoted just there Just pure adventure. The story line of you and your old man tops it off. What a journey. Can’t wait for the next episode. 👍🏻
Danke für das gute Video. Du fährst nicht nur beneidenswert exzellent Motorrad. Du transportierst auch mit wenigen Worten verdammt viele und starke Gefühle. 👍🏍️👍
You know how i love ur work Adam, but ur getting better as you get older mate. As i was in the RAN (Navy) for 9 years i was exposed to asbestos on HMAS Brisbane and every time the big 5" guns went off there was dust everywhere from the lagging on the steam pipes and i know i could get that cruel disease ur dad did at any time. So glad you got to spend time with him❤
Another great video, mate. You're very fortunate to have had that time with your dad when you did; I know you appreciate that, but I say that as a 52-year-old man who lost his dad as a 17-year-old and how much I would have loved to have made a trip like this with him. One day, though, I will make a trip with my own son. Thanks for sharing this and the thoughtful comments about your own father. Peace, brother, and safe onward travels.
This man speaks volumes across the world and touches hearts far and wide. Not 10 seconds into your videos and I'm hooked. Keep up the great work in keeping the world motivated to move on!!
My father left us before I was born. He was never really there for us. I do wish him well and many years have passed. Good on you for doing that with your father. It demonstrates that you forgave him for his shortcomings as a father. He definitely made a genuine effort for you by going way out of his comfort zone. Excellent video👍
Yeah im more from your side of the boat. My dad got me my first bike ay age six and thank him for that. Have to envy all the people whos dads ment so much to them.
Came here to write a nice comment, speechless! Don’t even know what to write. Sat on the edge of my seat!!! Can’t get enough of these adventures Adam, well done.
Adam, you said some things that tugged at some strings that I keep buried deep. I'm sure your dad is celebrating this trip wherever he may be. The way you experience your rides and feel the places you travel is very special! I have learned much from this video.
Welcome to Nepal and WOW. The way you show the Manang is absolutely amazing. You showed us the heart of the Manang and its road in such a ways that I felt goosebumps multiple times. And going solo 🤯.... Salute to you. Love from Nepal🇳🇵❤❤
Epic Adam. I've just returned from a 7 day tour with 2 mates (2,900 kilometers). More gravel & harsh terrain than expected. This is indeed living. Thanks for being such a great inspiration to us all.
Riemann is a master, I rode a Himalayan in the Himalayas used many of his techniques last month and it was incredibly spiritual and it opened my mind to many things.
Very special mate. Great production and commentary and an important ride for you. We lost dad last April and most days he appears in my mind. We were very close and right up until his last days, we spoke almost daily on the phone. I still sometimes instinctively reach for the phone to talk shvt with the old fella. He would have absolutely loved your vids. Thanks for sharing it with us and cheers, Dave
I've never been more captivated by a channel than yours. The magic you're weaving is truly special, so please, keep it up! Watching you and your dad share those moments in this vid. I would love to do the same and create those kinds of memories with my own father, but it feels like he has no interest in building that connection. I hope that someday, I can make similar experiences with my son once he is older!
With tears in my eyes for your beloved Dad! You are so lucky that you created history with your father, this is unique, not happened with all travelers that they travel like this you are travelling with your father, coming generations (in your family particularly) will be blessed by both of you for the journey/teaching/experience.
Yesterday was saga dawa duchen, a special day, when this video came off. This was the first thing i've seen in the morning with my coffee. Inspired and touched me so much, that i didn't go to work, instead of that I did a short trip with my old super10ere, to a local stupa, and have a bath in thermal...We have some parallels in life, i've been in Nepal, 12 years before, with a group (no bikes then) my father had serious sickness that time, and passed away after a few years, now i have two children also, and my father didn't even know them. I have seen the classic R.Enfields there the first time, and decided to go back one day with a bike like that, to reach Pokhara... Can't wait the next part...
I love what you did with your dad and that you were able to do that before he passed. Such an experience to remember! It’s something I would truly love to do with my dad, and one day with my two sons.
Very few - maybe just a handful - bike-related publishers on UA-cam have the skills & the brain to produce this high level of quality infotainment. Thanks for truly outstanding 24 minutes 🙏🏆
A skirted past this thumbnail a dozen times. I knew seeing this would make me restless to return and here we are. It’s moving to hear what Nepal means to you. RIP dad.
I lost my Dad when I was 8 years old, he was 30 [I'm 63 now], just yesterday We got back from an 8 day moto camping trip and was wondering, what if Dad was with me, then I see this video this morning. Thank you Adam and brother you are not alone, our fathers live in our hearts and minds for ever.
Adam, really moved by your making peace with your Dad and buying those elephants for your girls. Powerful. You are changing the trajectory of your family for generations.
Your UA-cam channel is one of the best out there in every way. Always a pleasure to see and listen to your words. The photography and editing are wonderful.
A Nepali living in central coast, Australia. You have just made my day. Keep travelling my man. I went to manang last November. I have just relived the moments through you.
Happened to stumble upon your journey just as I was finished watching Itchy Boots, who is sadly down and out for some months due to an accident in her journeys through Africa. Your beautiful and heartwarming rendering of the time spent with your father grabbed my emotions by the neck and brought tears to my eyes. Am hooked, line and sinker to your channel and will follow you through your journeys through our beautiful Nepal and beyond. Bless you my friend and all the very best on your trails.
Just want to say love your videos. I have learned alot from them. 1.5 years ago my father also passed of mesothelioma. I didn't have anyway to get there, all options ran out. In Kansas I took my 1990 xt350 and road to philadelphia Mississippi. 750 miles to my father's funeral. 2 months experience on a bike at the age of 50. Road this bike home 500 more miles and uhaul it back home. My father wanted to ride but he didn't get too. So I am a year and a half and 11,000 miles later. This just reminded me about my father and how I wish that now I am riding that he could be here riding with me. I guess in a way he is. Thanks dad! And thank you for such great videos. I have probably watched them all more than once and reference them when I need. I ride a 2023 tt900rp.
You know I got home from work at 11 o’clock at night and I usually just hit the hay and wake up early and go to work but I saw this video on my phone come up and I started watching it and I couldn’t turn the thing off until it was over ,what an epic ride you put on. Thank you for the video.
quote : "when dad passed away like 3 years after our ride here and it just felt the right thing to do to continue this story solo..." ... until your kids have grown up, and perhaps you'll take your them with on the same journey you did with your dad 😊 Seems like you found yourself your special place which will always have a strong meaning to your heart, no matter how many places you visited and discovered throughout your life. You are a hero to your children and a legend to riders who have admired you for years. To me, you embody the spirit of a true adventurer, exploring the wonders of this world and leaving your mark on the Earth with every tire spin.
you've been an amazing teacher to me brother, i just came back from a 11 days solo tour from north Pakistan and while i was preparing for my tour, attaching luggage to my bike, riding my bike, off roading and what not you were the one on my mind in every step, in every turn and in every situation. You're an inspiration to me!!! Please come to Pakistan i would love to meet you!!! Love from Karachi, Pakistan!!! More Power to you!!!
Wow is all I can say, morning, I have been following you for a long time my friend, but this ride here is one I’ve always wished I could do no question, what a place, and yes very raw and in real time to say the least, although I’ve never been to that part of the world just a small part exist back here in the states, Indian people I know and serve in my business, just incredibly great people, people I communicate with about there homeland, but what a place your riding through, a land of enchantment to say the least, incredible terrain, and in spirit your dad is with you and watching over your shoulders. There was once a time where me and my dad just the two of us toured the west, every time me and my buddy travel extensively on our bikes I smile because no in spirit he’s with me, we traveled so many miles, so many roads, I was ever so grateful to have shared so much with this man, just passing away a few days after his 100 th. He is part of what I still do, like you wouldn’t have traded that time for absolutely nothing. Stay safe out there and cannot wait for next video. Rob U.S.
Hello Adam, as always, greetings from Spain. First, I would like to offer my condolences for the loss of your father. Thanks to your videos, he is eternal, and even though I didn’t know him, I’m sure he is super proud of you. On another note, once again, you’ve managed to stir up a cocktail of emotions in me. You have me crazily searching for flights, routes, and motorcycle rentals in Kathmandu. I wanted to thank you for all the content your cameras show us. Thanks to them, people like me on the other side of the world can even experience altitude sickness with you. A big hug from Spain, and I’m very excited to see the entire trip. Thank you, Adam.
I come to Adam’s videos for the riding and leave every time with a beautiful spiritual human connection. Movie experiences as masterful as his riding talent.
Havin been the Nepal & Tibet many times and been up in the mountains after i got sick, being blessed by the priests,i understand your passion and love of these places which can bring meaning to ones life in the wrstern world with children to raise😊
Adam.. always know he is still with you. My dad passed in 2018. Seems like yesterday though. He struggled in the end with pain and weakness but never lost his love. He was the best dad and my hero. I feel your beautifully spoken words and your adv videos are the most informative and entertaining. I've gained riding skills and confidence thru them...bless you. And use your love for your father to guide you with your own kids. Charge on adam.
Thx Adam! You are a gem in this world and truly inspiring! That‘s not just politeness but from the depth of my soul. Your kids have a father - and what a hero he is! Always a safe ride!
Amazing Adam. You are a true legeng. Not just by the moto skill, but with the skill that you have to bring the emotions to the skin on people, with your videos. Proper inspiration!
Hi Adam This is part of your narration: "You can't change your perspective on life when you keep looking at it in a same angle!" Man, this is the best way that describes why we ride a motorcycle! Good luck and I wish you the most joyful life while you're traveling. You're inspiring many riders around the world, I'm fortunate that I'm one of those. Hope to see you one day in person. Ray from San Diego
"You can't change your perspective on life when you keep looking at it from the same angle". This resonates a lot mate. Thank you so much for your amazing content!
I'm not much for commenting. But, felt compelled. My Dad and I lost touch from 13 till my 50s. Just before he died we reconnected. Your opening, talking of your Dad touched me. You did something pretty epic with your Dad many never got a chance to do. Long time viewer. I wish I had 1/4 of your riding skills. Your vids are top notch. From Virginia in the USA 🇺🇸 PEACE ✌🏽
Thanks Adam for sharing some really personal thoughts. Your video was really moving. As a defence veteran and first responder of more than thirty years, and currently in St John of God receiving PTSD therapy, I find a lot of ‘release’ in your videos. This one really touched me mate. Safe travels 🙏
Cool I stranded at the road at 13:45 in 2019 due to very bad weather conditions on a Royal enfield classic! What an amazing tour it was! The Kagbeni side was even more spectacular! Just back from Madagascar!
1st part of your video got me brother. I was lost in past, beautiful memories with my dad. I lost my dad 14 yrs ago. he taught me riding. I still visit those places where we son and father visited back in time... I just want to relive that moment😢.
Thank you Adam to give us all these emotions and sensations. I can’t imagine that you felt when you rode on these mountains 10 years after the disappearance of your dad. ❤
Your dad endured no matter how painful the ride may be but it is nothing compared to the joy he felt when he was riding with the person that matters the most.keep on riding in paradise Mr. Reimann from a rider to a rider. RESPECT!!!
Been watching you from Nepal for so long and now watching you ride through the mountains of Nepal! Its wonderful to see you! Lots of love from Nepal, Adam!
Man, what a great coincidence! After seeing your Himalayan Hero video back in 2012, I rented the same green Hero Impulse from Royal Bikes in Delhi and did my first solo multi-day motorcycle trip across the Indian Himalayas. Fast forward to 2024, just like you, I have also traveled all over the world solo on a motorcycle (UK - Mongolia, Colombia - Chile, South Africa - Ethiopia), and went back to the Himalayas last year to backpack upto Everest Base Camp. So fun, wild, and interesting to see that you've returned to the Himalayas too! Great video as usual, look forward to the next episodes!
Adam.. absolutely love your work for so many reasons, not the least of which I've been trying to get a group of mates together for over 10 years to do a Himalaya ride!! Don't ever stop, keep the content coming!!!
I lost my father 7 years ago and that Intro really broke me .I could feel the way do .My son is now just 3 months old and i hope to ride with him someday .That would be the best feeling .P.s Your father would be Proud !!
Am not your son and nor are you my dad, but you will always be a hero to us brother. Amen

So many countless reviews of Himalayan but this is special..... One of a kind a masterpiece
This Video is not a review, Hell This Video is not even about the bike itself.

Two minutes in and I’m tearing up. So many lessons taught in this film.
I've been watching UA-cam for years..Hands down the best Aussie channel
Blown away by the quality, artistry and production. Beautiful to watch.
you've been an amazing teacher to me brother, i just came back from a 11 days solo tour from north Pakistan and while i was preparing for my tour, attaching luggage to my bike, riding my bike, off roading and what not you were the one on my mind in every step, in every turn and in every situation.
'Raw' ...commentary 'and beautiful' ...photography. Thanks for taking us on this adventure and sharing your Dad with us.
Goosebumps with that intro Adam, lost my dad a few years ago and as I’m 25 now never had the chance or age to go on adventures like that with him.
I felt that one going right through my heart and it’s so beautiful and breathtaking it hurts.
Adam.. always know he is still with you.
Two down and shinny side up Adam.
Your an inspiration to many and old dog.
Living Vicariously through your videography.

Your kids have a father - and what a hero he is!
Always a safe ride!
Amazing Adam. You are a true legeng. Not just by the moto skill, but with the skill that you have to bring the emotions to the skin on people, with your videos. Proper inspiration!
Hi Adam
This is part of your narration:
"You can't change your perspective on life when you keep looking at it in a same angle!"
Man, this is the best way that describes why we ride a motorcycle!
Good luck and I wish you the most joyful life while you're traveling.
You're inspiring many riders around the world, I'm fortunate that I'm one of those.
Hope to see you one day in person.

This resonates a lot mate. Thank you so much for your amazing content!
Dealing with the loss of a parent is a journey in itself.
Thanks for another great vid.
This is inspiring. Thanks Adam for sharing it, all the highs and the lows. Look forward to the rest of the trip.
Wow. I too see my dad as my hero. This really hit home. Absolutely amazing video.
Your style is incredibly beautiful, and your remembrance of your father is a testament to the nobility of your character.
From Virginia in the USA 🇺🇸
PEACE ✌🏽
Wow, amazing for your Himalayan Hero "The Return" EP 1 Nepal Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, I love your video. Thanks for sharing.🥰
Thank you Adam to give us all these emotions and sensations.
I can’t imagine that you felt when you rode on these mountains 10 years after the disappearance of your dad. ❤
Outstanding, nothing like the love for and of a Father, etched upon our soul. Thanks for sharing the ride brother. May God bless you.
Watching you remembering my Dad, bring me those childhood memories back, I drop a bit tears but feel happy, thank you for sharing your story👍

I am in tears here. Jawdropping fotage and thinking of your dad and my dad who is getting old fast.
Such a lovely memory and thank you for sharing it with us Adam.
Amazing footage as always.
Safe onwards travels.
I lost my father 7 years ago and that Intro really broke me .I could feel the way do .My son is now just 3 months old and i hope to ride with him someday .That would be the best feeling .P.s Your father would be Proud !!
lovely tribute to your Dad, Adam, he'll be proud of your solo trip, with the gift of fond memories you both had together.
