- A tribute inspired by the faith and dedication of HM Queen Elizabeth II. This tribute video was inspired by Sir Winston's Funeral, played to 'I Vow to Thee My Country'. This can be watched here:
• Sir Winston Churchill ...
Thank you all for your very kind words and reflections, they really do mean a lot. I am astonished how many views the video has received in a space of a day, thank you all!
Thank you for this perfect remembrance of the honor rightly bestowed upon this legendary monarch by the entire world. She was a rock of sanity in an ever perilous time. ❤️🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧❤️
This compilation was exquisite and perfect in every way. Even many of us in the USA loved her, her speeches always gave me the comfort and solace our own leaders could never dream of. Thank you for this beautiful tribute to her! ❤
@@anniespassion1093I am also from the states and I totally agree.
A very beautiful and moving tribute to Her Majesty, set to one of the most expressive pieces of music. Thank you. Long live the King.
This is truly beautiful. Thank you.

Rewatching in 2024 and still brings a tear to my eye. The perfect monarch with such dignity and grace. A huge loss. X

I agree. It's just in her DNA to be queen.
The greatest monarch tht will ever be❤

Never in history has someone kept their vow to their country as faithfully as Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
In some sense she was the perfect monarch. Reserved and dignified yet with a profound warmth. She was a cultural center point for the entire Commonwealth. God Save the Queen!
Couldn’t have put this any better.
My favourite monarch. I suspect she was the favourite monarch of many people around the world. Truly wonderful lady.
The perfect monarch of this era in which monarchs are just flower vases and simbols and it's more important the protocol than any other thing. But if you go to the past, when kings led nations there's no colour.
She placed duty above herself, above anything else.
WELL SAID!❣
"I Vow to Thee My Country" was the Queen's essence, and the hymn embodies her lifelong service.
Yet, it wasn't played at any of her funeral services.
@@BucyKalman Fun fact: It was played at Baroness Thatcher's funeral with the Queen and Prince Philip in attendance: ua-cam.com/video/Prg-KwqPYQs/v-deo.html
She understood what public service should be and dedicated her life to doing it well. We miss you, Queen Elizabeth.
Can anything more truthful be said? No
@@BucyKalman It kind of didn't need to be said....the music reminded us of what had been achieved. Sounds odd, I know, but to me the fist notes reminded me of what she had achieved. What a lady!
The motorbike police with their heads bowed gets me every time
I'm touched by the farmers with their machinery lined up along the road, the riders with horses, and her own pony and the corgis waiting to say goodbye. Many touching images.
How can the world not give her full honors. She literally served until the day before she died. Never ever complained. A giant among men and women.
*Honours.

What do you mean thank you for everything?? What's she actually done??
I think representing her realms with such grace and dignity for many many years never retiring and working until a very old age having the duty of going to many events every year is a hard work if you ask me
@@Secretorder13 There's a level of ignorance in people like you that really does need correction. "What's she actually done??". She's hosted dictators and bores at the will of the state trying to make international deals to earn money to pay for YOUR free healthcare, justice system and welfare state and done it with grace and dignity, bolstering relationships in a way that politicians cannot. She's shaken millions of hands, walked miles in all weathers to do so. Greeted the rich, the poor and everyone in between without making distinction between them in how much time was given, and interest shown. Sat through thousands of performances of school children, choirs, bands, music events, charitable evenings for the Arts. Turned up regardless of whether she was healthy or unwell - how many 95+ women would stand on a balcony while they're actively dying in great pain, simply to show her people that she had gratitude for them turning up to cheer on her Jubilee? Let's compare that to what we've seen you do, shall we? Come and post on social media while you appear to be stuck in the Middle Ages dreaming of glory. Who's the one who hasn't done anything, much less for their country.
As a Dutchman, it was an honor for my monarchs to stand opposite of the casket of Her Majesty and the Royal Family. I hope the bond between our two nations remains strong in the future 🇳🇱🇬🇧
My thought exactly
I have visited the Netherlands on numerous occasions and have great respect for it's people. We may not be in the EU anymore but the bonds remain.
Ich bin sehr traurig das die König gestorben ist
It was marvellous to see them there
That last picture just reduces me to tears.
One has to hand it to the British. They have the best ceremonies and pageantry in the world. HMTQ was absolutely regal, dutiful, compassionate and dedicated to God and her country. There will never be another like her. Many of us feel like we lost another mother. How privileged I was to be born when her reign began.
🙏🌷💝 A privilege for me as well. Dob 4/1958 Bless you. 🇬🇧
Very well said
Hi Kathryn, as I have always said about us Brits - we may not be universally liked (fair enough) but no one comes close when we put on a state occasion like this...
And for me, I was age 2 when she was crowned. I have a picture of my family all dressed up for the occasion which is a piece of our history
@@stc40 I have gotten up at 4 am on many an occasion to catch weddings, funerals, investitures, jubilees, and lately the coronation. I love all things British!!😍
Lest we forget, this amazing woman was also a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. It must have been so difficult for her loved ones to have to grieve so publicly. The Princess Royal was the epitome of grace and strength, accompanying her Mother throughout.
Yes, Anne, magnificent. From the same mould.
@@jasonneedham6734she would’ve made a great queen

I am from Hong Kong - many of us queued for up to 6 hours just to sign on the book of condolences at the UK Counsulate office in Hong Kong. We will miss the Queen dearly.

Whenever I hear this now, no matter where I am, no matter what I am doing, my eyes fill with tears and my thoughts turn again to the memory of my departed Queen. Queen Elizabeth, to me, was the essence of who we are as a nation , and upon the day of her death, we not only lost our beloved Queen, but, we lost a little of ourselves that we will never see again.
Although I am a 71 American , I feel as though I have lost my mother, again . She was a wonderful woman . My prayers continue for King Charles lll, his family and Great Britain.
Same here.
And here.
I was born in 1952 when the old king died. I have a photo of my beloved dad holding me at an east London Street party for the queen's coronation the next year. A treasured possession. Elizabeth the second was not just the queen , she was our queen in all our hearts.
👍👍👍
I was born the same year about a month after the king died. Therefore like you I have known no other monarch until now. A great loss but a great queen.
The only other that can match HRM status for being most loved as the Queen of Peoples Hearts ‘Internationally’ is The Late Princess Diana…
Two weeks later and still utterly heartbroken. Her majesty was irreplaceable and it will take Britain a long time to get over losing her. Beautiful video I might add. A very appropriate hymn. Nobody could better be linked with the title 'I Vow to Thee my Country' more than our late Queen. We were privileged to have her. The monarchy will never die.1000 years from now her legend will be spoken of. The greatest monarch this kingdom has ever seen. I am honoured to have been one of her people. I will never forget her. Proud to be a royalist. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. God rest the Queen. God save the King
Also played at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral. Flowers of the Forest was the lone piper at his funeral which was also played at the Queen service but her lone piper played A Salute to the Royal Fendersmith
Well said Mark.
I'm still heartbroken too. I think I have got over it, but then UA-cam recommends some recent videos about the Queen or the new King and I get upset again. I've just been in Sainsburys looking at the magazines. They all have beautiful photos of the Queen on their covers. So many reminders.
I'm back in tears after watching this sad but beautiful video.
Still weeping as well. She was Queen all my lifetime. I doubt I will see anything the match of her again, not in my time.
Don't cry because she has gone
Be happy for she was here!
I’m American, but have the upmost respect for Queen Elizabeth II! She in my opinion was one of the UK best monarch ever! This video was truly touching! The song and the clips were a perfect tribute to her. I’m honestly wiping tears! RIP Queen
She failed in her duty to protect the UK from it's enemies. In case you didn't know the UK is in ruins and is close to collapse. This happened on HER watch. Contrary to popular belief, she wasn't a mere ceremonial figure she was a political head of state.
@@seansmith445 With all do respect, if you have all of these neg feelings about her, why bother watching this video! This video is to honor her memory, not a smear campaign.
@@seansmith445 And as that figurehead and role as head of state she delegated her power to the government to run the country - and gives us the power to choose what goverment we want. I served her In the Parachute Regiment for 28yrs, and it was a pleasure. To us, The Queen was simply, aptly named, The Boss. This tribute is so fitting for someone that served a nation for 70yrs.
Thankyou Hupra.
Thank you for your service sir
I'm German, but in my heart she was my queen, too.
Her personality and what she did for my country will never be forgotten.
Thank you so much, Ma'am!
In a sense, she was queen of the whole world. Even outside Britain and the Commonwealth realms, she was known to many as simply "the queen," and if you said that, people knew immediately which queen you were talking about. I don't know if Charles will be known as "the king" to as many people, but it just goes to show you how widely admired the British royals are compared to all the other surviving royal and imperial families in the world.
As a Black American I admired her and her grandmother Queen Mary....She was my queen too.
Just remember that most of her recent ancestry is that of both Germany (specifically the Hanover and Saxe-Coburg & Gotha dynasties) as well as Danish (Christian IX of Denmark). Through the Hanovers you have the Stuart, Tudor, Lancaster, York, and Plantagenet ancestries, while through her mother (the Bowes-Lyon Family) you have the ancestry of Robert the Bruce, King of the Scots. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, because of Philip's Danish (also from Christian IX of Denmark) and Russian ancestry (from a granddaughter of Tsar Nicholas I) that they now have the ancestries of several dynastic lines, whether either from the original line or from cadet branches.
Hello Christiane, how are you doing today?
Until her death I hadn’t understood how many German people really appreciated her leadership in forgiveness and reconciliation. Thanks you from a friendly Brit
I am Australian, and proud of our heritage within the Commonwealth. With the passing of our Queen, we have lost our people's matriarch. We now look to our King as the father of our nation. This was a most touching tribute.
Thank you for that lovely tribute. God bless you.
I am Australian and likewise grateful for the wonderful cultural ties we share with Britain.
Australians are British
Besides the official representatives from Australia, it warmed my heart that all holders of the VC were invited, and given primary seating within the Abbey.
From the legendary Keith Payne to Ben Roberts-Smith, we thank you for honouring HMTQ.
The last photograph ever taken of her is so beautiful-her warmth radiance and beauty just shine from her
The resolute selflessness, the walking epitome of duty, the stoic and unwavering dedication to the people, the allegiance to a purpose of uniting a nation rather than dividing it, the backbone of our country, the unrelenting bravery in the face of adversity after adversity. You were the revered sovereign, woman and icon. May you truly rest in peace, your Majesty, the impact of your reign will endure for eternity.

Royalty is just wrong though isn't it? How can you justify it continuing?
@@barryjatkinson It's not wrong when their role is purely symbolic like it is in Britain. If we were talking about an absolute monarch, then that is wrong, but constitutional monarchies are entirely democratic except for the head of state.
@@hotwax9376 QE was not as removed from running the country as you might think. She approved/vetoed many bills before they even ended up in parliament… not symbolic at all but actively dipping into the running of the country.
For the period of mourning the people of UK were the best I've seen in my 42 years, the togetherness, the grief, the respect was unprecedented.
And our armed forces on the day of the funeral and beforehand were just immense, so many young people making us all so, so proud. Something we easily forget in this crazy fast paced world we live.

I'm Brazilian, but I've always liked the British royal family. I remember the shock of the Queen Mother's death 20 years ago. The Queen Mother was almost 102 years old, but she was so strong, she was in good health, no one expected her to die soon. Now, his daughter Queen Elizabeth dies aged 96. It also took everyone by surprise even more. How lovely was this sweet queen. I thought she was going to live more than 100 years, but time and the unforeseen always happen. My condolences to the British people....
The most noblest woman to EVER LIVE on this world. We will never see a woman like her for another 200 years. IF this world is lucky enough to have one like her again.
Like another person said quoting her majesty Elizabeth there " grief is the price you pay for love"
I agree HMTQ Elizabeth the Second wad class and grace personified. Noble is how she lived her life, in the real sense. But don’t be so pessimistic, women as noble and dignified as HM come every 80 years or so, same with men. Those who give up their life for a burden they had to take on. God bless her and all those that love her.

I vow to thee, my country
All earthly things above
Entire and whole and perfect
The service of my love
The love that asks no questions
The love that stands the test
That lays upon the altar
The dearest and the best
The love that never falters
The love that pays the price
The love that makes undaunted
The final sacrifice
And there's another country
I've heard of long ago
Most dear to them that love her
Most great to them that know
We may (we may not count her armies)
We may (we may not see her King)
Her fortress is a faithful heart
Her pride is suffering
And soul by soul and silently
Her shining bounds increase
And her ways are ways of gentleness
And all her paths are peace
I Vow to Thee, My Country is a poem by Sir Cecil Spring-Rice, which took its present form in early 1918. The setting was made in 1921 by Gustav Holst with a melody that he had borrowed from the "Jupiter movement" in his suite The Planets. Since then, I Vow to Thee, My Country has been both a patriotic British song and an anthem in the Anglican communion.

The look of anguish and grief on Charles face at 4:15 was heart wrenching and sad. I’m not much of a fan of him or Camilla, but for that moment, I felt sympathy for him as a son who lost his mother. There is a human side to Charles and he showed that he has feelings and emotions like all of us.

This is the most beautiful snapshot of the Queen's funeral I have seen, and I have viewed quite a few. Your juxtaposition of the most spectacular and sorrowful moments alongside each other balanced perfectly, along with music that is so poignant. I will frankly admit that you made me cry when you summed up her life with those fabulous photos. I had forgotten what a beautiful and elegant woman she was when young. A superb video. Thank you.
Magnificent tribute to an extraordinary woman. There will never be anyone like her again. RIP
Seems very surreal when realising Her Majesty is no longer with us. As many have said, she’s been the only monarch most of us have ever known. To now not have her, seems as if we’ve lost part of what makes our nation, our Commonwealth great.
Her Majesty modernised the monarchy greatly. I’m not a particularly religious person, however the queen’s faith is inspiring.
May God take care of the Queen. Long Live the King, and may our great Commonwealth continue to prosper.
As a Filipino, the late Queen was an inspiration of public duty. She has touched so many lives and I am forever grateful to have been born during her magnificent reign.
What a perfect tribute. It’s just like HM. It was dignified, traditional, and communicated a view of a life of legendary service and commitment that those of us now living are not likely to ever see again.

I think may be Diana used it at her funeral arrangements as she liked this song
@@davelawrence8627 yes Diana did!
Yes they tend not to reuse song arrangements that have been played previously at other royal events I’ve noticed ,the pipers generally use different tunes that the royals liked and not what
Necessarily we want to here all the time ha !
@@davelawrence8627 Yes, I thought the same thing, that possibly it wasn't used in Queen Elizabeth's funeral as it was part of Diana's.
Let alone the Last Post that was played at Westminster Abbey not being the same as that played by the RM Buglers at Prince Philip's funeral.
An amazing tribute to a beautiful Queen. Rest in peace
She was a beautiful lady I'm sitting here in my bed in Canada crying my heart God knows how you'are all feeling a young girl that I promise she could save her country but she did and known no one can take it away from her rest in peace your majesty with your husband Prince Philip and God bless on your family here on Earth. 🙏🏻❤️🇨🇦🌹
Can't watch this without crying still. The late Queen shared her birthday with my father, who was one year her junior. . He died some 8 years ago. I loved the British queen dearly. I was on 5he way to a family visit when I heard about her death. As the drive was tumultuous, I'll never forget what kind of day this was
A beautiful snap shot of the last few weeks. The Queen was so dignified, so inspiring, so selfless. Thank you for being the head of the Commonwealth. God Save the Queen.
Hello Joanne how are you doing 😊
This is simply beautiful. All the emotions still so near the surface as a mere commoner, yet the senior royals are out there doing their duty for her legacy to continue.Thank you.
A huge loss to not just the UK and Commonwealth, but the world.
A beautiful piece of music and film capturing the huge effect of Queen Elizabeth's loss!
Forever in our hearts!
RIP Queen Elizabeth II ! xx
I am Singaporean Chinese who feels very sad on the demise of the late Queen Elizabeth 2.
😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Goosebumps after over a year later..
And for many years to come yet
I am staggered watching this on the 15th Feb 2023. And I feel devastated and I’m weeping quite heavily. Shit. I had no idea. None, what this lady who I never met meant to me.
Rest in peace, United with ur legend of a husband. ❤️
God save the King
I still can’t believe how gutted I was about this.
Rest in peace, Queen Elizabeth II. We missed you so much! ❤️ Since I heard the news from 8th September 2022. Queen Elizabeth II has officially passed away. I heard that, then, start paying for her respects to her soul and gave her the last day of her journey. So I just want to say and pay for her respects thank you for standing our country to make it freedom for us to do what we want and thanks for all the items that you've prepared to our country. Since 1826 - 1946. I've learnt from the history is all about my beloving country, Malaysian/Malaysia. Once again, thank you, Your Majesty The Queen. We will be proud to see you again for Her Majesty The Queen's State Funeral.
So beautiful and heart-touching! How we miss our Queen! Through my father's genealogy research, I discovered she was my 11th cousin! ❤ I'm very humbled and honored to be related to her and to almost every member of the family. The struggles, wars, alliances, good/bad times that they've gone through, just as we have are numerable. She led by example. We can all learn from her, no matter who we are! May the Lord bless each of you that are resding this! ❤
It’s been months since she’s passed. I have to watch these videos. It brings me a sense of peace. The World is not the same now that she’s gone.
Always in our hearts Your Majesty
There is not a day that goes by that I don’t wish she was here - the finale of the crown did me in - seeing a young uniformed Elizabeth… well done, good and faithful servant of the people
The way the police escort bowed their heads after escorting her home was beautiful.
Wow i still can't believe she is really gone for good. Goodbye Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II ❤️🥺
Beautiful. More than the funeral of a legendary Queen. Tears for the world we knew passing before our eyes. God bless her soul and have mercy on us left behind. ❤️🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧❤️
She was such a kind, gracious human. So missed.
This arrangement is incredible
فعلا ، كان شىء مهول تماما
Her presence in the world is greatly missed.
The words to the hymn tell the story of her life.
She made the world a better world.
A great, perfect ceremony...historical moment seen from Costa Rica...the greatest Queen of modern world....UK is not the same anymore...I had the privilege to live that from far away...thank You Madame 🙏❤️
I can watch this over again. As an American she was so filled with grace..............
Still moves me over 12 months later in my mind she will always be along side my beautiful Mum 😢😢
I'm not a monarchist and I deliberately didn't watch any of the coverage.
Then I saw this and cried like a baby.
You don't have to be a monarchist to admire a woman with Queen Elizabeth's devotion to duty, sense if humor and all round decent sort. Like most, I can't remember a time when she wasn't Queen. There's something to be said for Monarchy, after all, Prime ministers come and go, but she was always there. Now she's not and we all feel it.
Same thing happened to a friend of mine who isn't a monarchist particularly. Greatly upset when The late Queen died. Integrity and keeping a promise are rare in leaders these days.
