What topic do you love to see after this? Most probably I will work on a shorter video next, but I can compile list of interesting topic for upcoming video
What if you want to animate and move the camera in 3D for anime style. I've been doing 3D anime style paint over but now I might need to make an background animation for a personal project.
Do you have any advice/tips for the best ways to 'hide' the 3d look for 2d paintovers? I saw here that painting edges really elevated this SO much, but if you have any other opinions/advice, it would make a wonderful video!
Thank you so much. How about an indoor setting? I was so amazed on what you did on Framed Memories animation especially the textures it's straight out of a Shinkai film. Is it done directly in blender or also a paint over?
Yo i can't believe you're malaysian! glad to know that there's a good youtuber from malaysia doing the same thing that i want to do too. As a fellow malaysian, I'm happy.
I'm not lying, this is an amzing tutorial!! I can't sit through most of the long boring tutorials with people who sound uninterested or other, but this has me captivated with the different music and accents!!
Thank you SO much it's so rare to see artists actually listen (I'm not trying to put them down it's just understandable- it's a lil too much hustle). I know it must've been a pain to make this but please PLEASE consider making more
This is really terrific. And yes I would love to see a longer piece on your painting process, especially if it's this detailed and solid. :) Very nice work here, as always!
This is amazing, i use multiple softwares to create a complete animation and always trying to figure out how best to approach this method of work. Your video has been really insightful on how to take advantage of blenders light engine for a more stylistic look :D
The video you made months back, the one with the bus stop beside the ocean, the scene stuck in my head, every time I think of this channel I think that. A bts video of that would be perfect. Very curious, especially for the trees.
It is supposedly for a project that I am working on, but that the style was taking too much time. So, I had to change to another style. I will share the link to the animation when it is up next week.
Awesome and straight to the point. Please do interiors next. A Shinkai anime style kitchen or living room. The ones you made, like for Batik, look overly 3D instead of 2D anime-like. I'd like to see how you'd do an interior, kitchen or living room, paint over that doesn't look overly 3D but something I see in "your name" or "weathering with you"
TNice tutorials is much more simple than I thought with you explaining it. Currently half way through and I feel like I know everytNice tutorialng already lmao
I use a similar render method. But I render out the shadow, ambient occlusion and bloom passes as separate passes. I then colour the Ao and shadow passes blue in clip studio then multiply blend mode it. I find that I can darken shadows to make some areas pop. Good video 👍
Oooh, cool! Does it mean one can actually have the bloom on a separate layer if it's rendered on separate passes? (Sorry, I barely used Blender so I'm not sure if its even a thing but I'll research it.) Thanks for contributing, even more ideas to draw from!
@@Renmiou in the tab below render settings in blender is the check boxes for render layers. You can click on which ones. You will get a "comb layer' in the render image. On the render image on the right you get a drop down menu which can switch between the finished render passes.you can then save the images out separately and import them. Also the diff col and diff gloss passes can look Cool if you use around 50 percent opacity and softlight or glowdodge blendmodes in clipstudio or photoshop.i find it can bring out edge and metal detail and pops the colors more.
@@ethanmitchinson7861 Thanks for taking the time! I wasn't expecting that. I'll have the comment and give it a try with some background. :D Much appreciated!
i can see how this method offer more control. I remember I saw an article / tutorial by a japanese, he convert the photo to black and white, adjust contrast, then use that as a mask to put in the blue. A bit like that AO in your case
This was such a beautiful tutorial. I loved the voice you chose for the audio. The music was subtle, but welcomed. Brilliant work, I could watch these tutorials all day!
That is so so so so much good. So soothing to look at. I was looking forward for blender tutorial for the whole video but stuck because of the art which was unfolding. Amazing work
Awesome, I will attempt blender again for the first time in ages, last time I made a triangle with three colors on it and didn’t know how to use the interface.
I really suck at painting so i'd be very happy to see more in depth videos for the painting part, thanks, i really liked the idea of using different light for the shadows!
This is really awesome, making a 3d render and paint over it in ps as well as making though gorgeous anime-looking scenes are my main goals and reason to get in this field. I look forward to see more tutorials like one, more detailed and step by step explanationon the workflowwill be really helpful as well.
This was awesome! I'd like to see a more in-depth tutorial on your 2D drawing process. I'm more familiar with 3D, interested to see how I can combine 2D to elevate my pieces.
Thanks for this highly requested tutorial from you! Also, didn't expect Nook's sister to be doing the intro voice-over haha. You should look into Grease Pencil and Line Art modifiers. Excellent breakdown!
Me, a week earlier when learning Blender and making my first 3D vtuber model: I am NOT touching this ever again. Me, after seeing this: I am ABSOLUTELY learning more Blender.
I had soft soft for a wNice tutorialle but never actually opened it because it looked too complex. TNice tutorials actually helped quite a bit. i an like for

Maybe i will cover that in next tutorial
@@Mclelun PLEASE give us a painting tutorial. PLEASE. With brushes, methods, references, and stroke methods as well as settings. Please and thank you.
Thank you so much! So it's also a Sun light for ambient light. Also, a detailed process on paint over is much appreciated.
This is great. Yes, we want a paint over video specially for clouds.

Glad it was helpful!
Dude your voice along with the soundtrack, it's like watching a disney tutorial or something
Like 2 minutes in and you've solved the issues I was having. I didn't realize that box for showing what was going on was there, I didn't
Oh wow I don't expect Kuala Lumpur in this video! I'm from Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur is a state from Malaysia, Great Videos!✨ 🇲🇾
I normally get upset with a tutorial doesn't have voices in it. This made me happy. I thought this was a really cool way of doing a tutorial
Ya Allah terkejut bila nampak text kuala lumpur tu. Memang terbaik la tak expect dari Malaysia 😭
haha terima kasih atas sokongan anda
using it for a few years and now I want to upgrade and I'm happy I did that.
