  • I was lucky enough to be invited to a UK syndicate prior to its opening in 2024 to do some carp fishing. It was a situation I had to make the most of and I enjoyed plenty of action throughout the session.

Why does everyone get negative in the comments, just take it for the entertainment and stop being karens ... every fishing video i see from the top guys/brands always has plonkers trying to dig them out about stuff .. watch someone or something else for christ sake ...

Give it 8-10 years, let the fishery mature and those fish grow 😊

Why was you dumping leads for no reason also you always advocate to use a sling when lifting out of the water and not a rolled up landing net and your first carp was put on a dry unhooking Matt I would of expected better from you

    • @henrylennon3637

      - I was fishing with 5 ounce leads at over 160 yards in some cases, so definitely wanted to drop the lead. There are also weed and snags in the lake, so it made sene to drop the lead in all situations anyway.
      - As long as the fish's fin are flat against the body, a rolled up landing net is fine.
      - The weather was about 8 degrees, it was in a wet landing net when placed on the mat and then had water poured over it. It was fine.

@@henrylennon3637 From the vid it looks dry before you placed the carp on the Matt and it don’t matter what temp it is it should always be wet before not after the carp is placed on it, 5oz or 2oz there is no need to dump a lead only time you need to dump a lead is in very heavy weed, so you roll the net up with the hook still in the carps mouth that can lead to turn and damaged mouths and fins .

@@chrissmedley3418 dropping leads is best practice regardless of heavy weed. Rolling the net up is no different than a sling. You're nit picking
