Amazing thank you for sharing this! Amazing how every fish has gone for the corn before the boillies just shows that’s the simplest cheapest bait is often favoured over the expensive big branded baits
This is amazing! No wonder I catch huge roach, bream, tench and carp on the method feeder. And it's fun to see how the smaller fish scatter when bigger fish arrive in the swim. That's definitely good to know!
It's not the case that the corn and pellet are the favourite it's just that the boiles are too big for the bream and roach that's why boilies are a favourite for the carp angler
Very interesting! Sweet corn is the one !! The way they reject boilies seconds after taking is intriguing for me .I can see they are attracted by the colours. But feeding on the corn .winner winner corn dinner
Lovely video, so nice to watch them swimming around and grazing. There's Roach there too, and that pike lol. Only the Carp sucking up the boilies only to spit them back out again. Wonder why? Maybe it's just those boilies, the flavour...not sure. Really nice music to go with this vid too, bliss :) thanks for upload.
Byla skvělá... Takový sebevědomý mrňous :-) projede nebo zaloví mi tam něco skoro vždy jen ne vždycky to je vidět, takže to tam nedávám. Nicméně tahle si o to řekla :-)
It seems like the boilies were too hard for the carp to chew. Only the outer layer seems to get broken down. That's probably the real reason why soaking bait works really well. Not for the washed out look. It softens it.
This is a great vid of how fish feed, no good for carp anglers tbf, but for everyone who likes catching mixed species class, personally I love feeder fishing for bream and tench 👌👌
i notice the boilies are the LEAST favourite bait among the baits..... were as the sweetcorn and pellets all gone,,,,,the boilies though even the big carp were not interested,,,just goes to show somethings catch anglers more than the fish ,and may explain why carp anglers who put out bucket,s of boilies wait days for bites,,,
To be fair these boilies don't look to be to quality baits. It looks like he's gone for more colour research than quality freezer baits. I always find I catch less on shelf life boilies and more on freezer baits because the quality of the freezer baits are so much more superior. Different fish like different baits though. Carp on this lake might be a bit weary of boilies. There was a lot of particle, always a safer bet for a carp to feed on.
TBF boilies are class for the carp boys who want to ensure they're just catching carp, tried and proven theres no debate!! Not for me though but I like a different form of fishing, that's why is such a good sport!! I'm old school, meat and float🤣
Is this a private pond that has not been supplied with feed for a while? That much activity in the local canal would send your rod tip or float berzerk
I'd definitely consider changing boilies after watching them spit them out so many times, looks like they enjoy the attractors in them but don't like them as food.
@ I'm not suggesting that the carp don't love boilies, I'm just suggesting that these particular boilies were not palatable to the carp. The fact they picked them up suggests that the attractor profile was fine (ie. it smelled like food) but the way they were ejecting them suggest that the taste was bad. Kind of like if you saw a tasty looking cake that smelled nice but tasted like chemicals as soon as you put it in your mouth making you spit it out again.
Hi jakob, lovely vid! I do simular vids but i dont get so many views, do you have tags or any tips to get more? :) like if u have utube tags or descriptions
You think morotzoo? I don't have favorites tags. I use names in english and in my language. I got a lot of views at czech fishing forum. If you want more information write me private messange ;-)
Depends on the water. Many lakes I've fished fish flavours work best: halibut, crawfish, spicy seafood etc. Others you'll find sweet flavours like pineapple or strawberry work well. One thing you'll notice though with all these underwater videos? Carp don't take boilies first! They're bottom suckers, particle feeders. Stacking kilo after kilo of boilies in is marketing from manufacturers, nothing more. UNLESS of course you need to get through the bream, as shown here. Size of boilie is a balance, i tend to prefer smaller, nothing more than 10mm. These look like 12-15mm.
@@robertkeyse8878 In a match your bag rate would be higher with the smaller baits. I suppose if you are going for the trophy fish with boilies it eliminates the small fry but with less chance of a catch.
Surprised by how many boilies got spat back out ,you really need to find the flavour they go for , and that’s why you need to use them for big carp as the little fish hoover everything up before the carp roll in
can easily tell boilies are not as great as you would imagine,Orangy ones are more interesting to the carp but still too hard , too big to crush with teeth. it only eat outer boile softer shell and spit its core . once particles are gone there is less fish interested
Hope carp anglers realise the more food you put out the less your going to catch ....it's why you spend the weekend spoofing away catching nothing but it's cost you a small fortune in bait 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My thoughts exactly,,the Europeans throw so much feed out there that they're lucky to catch one fish,,here in the States I'll put 3-6 kernels of boiled corn on a hook and catch carp all day long...
@@riclindsey329 I still catch more carp with corn, bread, worm or luncheon meat than my friends who spend a small fortune on boilies, pellets ect . They also have to have the latest, best kit 😏
Tincas are so carefull, there are big ones in the river i fish but they don't bite if there's bream on the spot. You have to wait for the bream to go away first.
You're lucky if you get river Tench, only get them in lakes where I am, when I was a kid fishing we had this little pool had loads of roach and rudd every now and again youd hit a big un, tench, fight like stink, there was one old carp in there as well we hooked him but never caught him!! Checked the pool out recently, been drained etc... talking 25 years ago fired your passion for fishing though!!

I think these are not good boilies. I bet it'd would be a different story if you were to use better ones.

Always the roach and smaller fish first then the bream pop in and then the Carp come clean up.
there is a magic number in fishing for me and 16mm and the words red robin pellets come to mind
