I think it's easy for people to forget or not even realise while we enjoy the video the sheer work taken just to put this together. Setting up the camera to record each scene and from different angles, as well as fishing with such commitment is astonishing. The production value for everyone watching and considering none of us have to pay to watch this kind of work is absolute top tier.
Very true observation. Additionally, Carl is a wonderful story teller too. How he hasn't been asked to front a TV show yet, baffles me tbh. The perfect role model imho for young lads in particular.

This is the first fishing video I have watched in a while - possibly since the last ‘Carl and Alex’ video. I didn’t realise how much I had missed them and just how awesome they are made/documented!! I think this channel really has to be the best for carp fishing vids on UA-cam, so enjoyable to watch and incredibly informative, makes me realise that keeping it simple is the best tactic in fishing

Hey Carl, Brilliant video. I am on my first campaign ever fishing my local lake and so far have blanked 6 times. Your videos are inspiration to never give up! I wouldn't even be able to fish the lakes if it wasn't for you and your brother's amazing channels. The tutorials are the reason that I can get out without knowing anybody who fishes. The production value of the film is excellent. I work in TV and these shots are premium and professional and the drama and story telling would not be out of place on the box. Props to your camera man and multiple setups. I'm getting back out today to see if I can land a fish. Not the size that you are landing but maybe one day it'll be a 40lber! Thanks for all your hard work and keep up the top work!

I have watched a few of your videos and have enjoyed every one of them. The story telling is interesting, you show the good with the not so good and the settings are great and the fish impressive. Had to come back to watching your videos after watching Reservoir Diaries 1nd 2 countless times, tremendous videos from your younger days of carping and more to the point serious videos, Im not into the Benny Hill side of things or foraging for food and being crazy so this video was a breath of fresh air for me, I think when your serious in your narration you are one of the best " tubers " out there and I could watch videos like this several times a day. Cant wait for the years to pass by and see where you end up, Im sure its going to be watch worthy
