Deeper sonars have kindly sent me the new Deeper Quest bait boat to use in my fishing. I thought I should take it for a little test run on the lake at work to see how it handles and to give you my initial first impression thoughts on the product.

I was lucky enough to be invited to a UK syndicate prior to its opening in 2024 to do some carp fishing. It was a situation I had to make the most of and I enjoyed plenty of action throughout the session.

I am joined by ex-Nash Tackle videographer Barnaby Bos on a carp fishing road trip across France as we search for some big fish from a park lake and a canal system. With an 80lb carp in the park lake, we knew we were in for an exciting session!

Carp fishing in canals across France and Belgium has become a obsession of mine and I decided to campaign for a 50lb canal carp. Stopping off in Belgium on the way to our European trade show for some public water carp fishing on a stretch of canal resulted in a good number of bites in a 36-hour session. Watch the vlog to see how I got on!
