Oh man….in all honesty this is working - no, it’s not a “cure”….it’s relief! So that means that for other people, other vids will be the right one. I encourage all of you reading this to check the various videos, don’t give up, find your frequency and you’ll get some relief. I’m wishing ALL my fellow tinnitus sufferers (with a shout out especially to you musicians reading this who are dealing with tinnitus while trying to maintain your creativity and drive) relief and peace. Cheers everyone!!!
BC Drummer, Assuming you're a drummer, I'm also a drummer in search of ear protection. What have you found to be the best protection when playing? I've read some about noise cancelling earphone or ear buds. I'm not up on this stuff if anyone can help out.
@@bpierce4884 First and foremost, learning not to bash too loudly, and being able to have a rational conversation with other players if they are playing too loud - and there is definitely such a thing as ‘too loud’. But as for protection, if you just go on amazon and type it in you’ll see lots of options for ear protection and IMO any of them work. G'day from the Aussie spring of the Blue Mountains in NSW, this is quite effective for blocking out the sounds of the cicadas' deafening chirping in the trees, at the range of 5.5-6.5 kHz! Thanks ❤
How is it now if I may ask? I've had mine for about 5 weeks now.. some good days but some pretty bad ones.. still trying to figure out the correct methods of dealing with it.
Thanks Dale! I just started 2 months ago with my T. and after searching slot to find my frequency, this one is so close to my noise.... Really let me rest, I was going crazy but thanks to all your videos, I am finally finding a way to rest..... I get very excited with any new video.... Love your mixes! 😊
Dale thank you for taking your time to find us different sounds that we can use to mask our tinnitus.. Mine has been changing a lot here lately.. And today this is what I’m hearing. I purchased a white noise machine and I use it every night. The only problem with it is some of the sounds don’t help. Thanks again for nailing this one. I absolutely love it.
didin't know this was a thing, now i understand why i always end up pumping up this high frequencys on my EQs, also notice that high volumes on 2hz to 4hz make it worse (can't listen to some iron maiden albums at normal volume for example, have to low it down), i even end up buying headphones with this caracteristics without knowing lol, thanks for taking the time to upload this on yt
Why would you pump up? if you have 16khz tinnitus then that means you are hearing 16khz when no 16khz. so you should actually pump down volume. Please explain.
This sound in my head it s make me creazy sometimes bow i found this and it s such a relief. Thanks for the video. Greetings to all who are in the same situation like me
Different types of Tinnitus requires different types of treatments . These types of audio therapy work however, only for a short time after you listen to these tracks. The Tinnitus comes back as if you are turning up a volume control . I hope a effective cure is around the corner.
Thanks again Dale, haven't been listening long but this seems to match the current ring in my ears, have it on slightly lower volume, a bit harder to distinguish between the ringing and the video than other videos so far, not helping so much yet, but only a few minutes in. Its oddly comforting just to hear that high pitched sound coming from an audible outside source.
have found in my personal experience its good to mix and match your videos, seems sometimes more complex noise distractions work better for my brain, putting this to the flosser and chopper on very very low volume.
Custom blends with multiple browser tabs is fun. Sometimes I’ll listen to one with variation like the Scrubber and a simple Brown noise. Binaural beats with music can lead to interesting blends.
Thanks, finally my tinnitus mask. I have low-level tinnitus which not noticable but after an concert it get so worse. Now my tinnius feel like its skewing my head, this sound masked it.
Idk about you all, but when I listen to this, it’s as if all the tension I’ve been storing in my neck stops. I scrunch up so much with the ringing. My goodness

I have tinnitus problem since 5years 1st in left ear and started in right since 1Year. From comments there are different Frequencies but which one will be suitable for me, how can find?
I have a question : I'm 54, I know I can't hear frequencies above 14 KHz (I made tests), but I can clearly hear this 16 KHz noise.... Can you explain that ? Thanks.
Yes indeed. The reason is because noise is naturally wider in the frequency spectrum than the pitch or note of a single frequency would be. (Noise and pitch are two different types of sound that make up all the sound in our world). So the noise is boosted at this frequency and a bit of the nearby frequencies above and below the frequency are lifted like a bell curve on a graph. Also, because the nature of this noise is so high, and many of of do not have hearing this high, a little bit of the lower frequencies are in there tapering off so that everyone knows the sound is present and because it smooths out the listening experience.
This works for me thx. I think my range might be from 13-16kHz but sometimes lower or higher helps too. Why is it that you leave the visuals up to 90min instead of just dimming the screen immediately? Do you feel they help or is it just an artistic choice?
It’s just an artistic choice. I like the videos to have a visual component because after all it is a video platform. For those that want to go to dark screen they can skip forward to 90 minutes. Thanks for listening
For me it sounds like this but it's a wavy flowing sound that becomes pronounced more so after activity. Maybe it's pulsatile. Not sure if this sound does much to improve things or eliminate things.
Recently i found out there are a lot of vids like this and some try to explain how to find your frequency. But, most say that you have to "match your frequency" and i dont understand what it means by that. Does it means that i stop hearing the noise completely as i do close to 17k or that it vibrate my ears and make me flinch a bit like multiple frequencies do to my ears between 6k and 12k ? Also my tinnitus is like a nightime cacophony of crickets and cicadas and frogs and toads and birds from the forests in Puerto Rico. So i asume it varies of many many frequencies and tones. Its been difficult to me to find the exact tone and frequency. Im looking for help.
17 and 14 were close, but this seems to be a sweet spot for me. Gonna give it a shot tonight. Man, it used to be rough being the only person I knew with ADHD, but now my kids both have it (shock), and so my wife is the odd one out. Being the only one with tinnitus and I have to play these tracks? It's such a balancing act to do things they don't absolutely HATE.
Using a tone generator it appears my upper hearing limit is around 9khz. Wondering if listening to these higher-frequency maskers provides any benefit. My tinnitus exhibits as a high pitched whine.
Father, in rhe Name of Jesus we (pray with me) come into agreement here on Earth in asking for your Mercy. Please heal us and draw us closer to you. In Jesus's Name, we thank you for your Goodness and your Mercy, the Healing snd the Healer. Amen ❤🙏🏽
It all depends for me I will mask all day and night. When mine gets so Loud even over a box fan and using Dales masking sounds it does help by keeping the sound outside of my head. Good luck finding your happy place while learning to mask your tinnitus..
I don't wanna say anything too crazy yet, but I will admit, mixing these noise therapy sounds with actual massaging and other at home tricks has lowered my ringing. Then again, I've only had it for a week or so, but I'll be damned, it's effective all the same
Out of the blue a year ago my ears started ringing and never stops and been asking dr, what to do but everyone says I'm stuck with it so I'm now trying to find something here hopefully your videos will help ty
I've always had it but after getting covid in 2020 I noticed it got VERY loud and some days it is so loud my ears hurt badly like it's vibrating inside my ear canal it's so loud!
This one sounds so different. I’ve started to notice something that may be big news to some and commonplace knowledge to others. I’ve always been a chronic nail biter. I was chewing😂 my nail in bed and then went outside to gaze at stars and look at the stars and moon w my binoculars. Then, outside, I noticed my tinnitus was really loud and there were two tones. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed it got louder after biting my nails. So it looks like I can’t even chew my nails even a little. It’s making my tmj worse which in turn is making my tinnitus louder! Ugh!
I get you completely. I had surgery on my TMJ joint. I find if I am anxious I grind my teeth which in turn makes the joint ache and tinnitus louder as does anxiety . I had a plastic brace made to put over the teeth to wear at anxious times and it relaxes the joint and tinnitus is quieter. Hope this helps 😅
I got my mouth guard several days ago and combining it with this sound and Dr. Ben's river sounds relaxes my jaw and my mind. Quiets the tinnitus for hours. Starts up as I tense up.
I lost my left side hearing tried all medication but didn’t work i have a lot noise in my ear I don’t know what is right mask for my ear and should listen both side
How long will it take for me to recover from this tinnitus disease, I have been to the doctor and taken the doctor's medicine for one week but there is no result. please provide information for friends who have recovered from this tinnitus disease. Thank You.
Please check out this video with Dr Ben Thompson Aud for more information: ua-cam.com/video/AMaYuDKH934/v-deo.html or go to his channel for in depth information.
No idea what I should be looking (listening) for. Tinnitus for minimum of 15yrs, whatever I'm listening to in the first few mins makes my ears want to explode, so... Do other frequencies show up later in the video, or they're on other videos? Video doesn't explain, ppl's comments elude to. :/
Noise masking is part of tinnitus retrainment or habituation for many forms of tinnitus, but does not work for all types. The videos in the series are that sound frequency throughout. There are different frequencies and variations in each video with the idea that one or two will be a match for different listeners. Listening to the noise at a low volume that is a close match to ringing sound may offer relief by about third. Some videos explain in the intro and there is a podcast on the channel with Dr Ben Thompson explaining deeper. His Treble Health channel is also a great resource for in depth information.
i was trying to deal with tinnitus with this sounds in low volume, there were not diference, until i up the volumen higher than the sound of the tinnitus it was big change, at the next day the sound was low, almost imperceptible.
Hello. I got 2 weeks ago tinittus. On most forums and youtube videos it is not curable. However, I got a hope and my tinittus is slighltly lower now implementing the carnivore diet, cold showers, dry fasting (no food, no water for minimum 24 h). I have excluded all fruits, caffeine, carbohydrates, vegetables. Go on the youtube Page of "Liam Stop tinittus". It seems like this is the way to go to get silence back.
@@Zoyasinitiative Anyway, if you still got it I recommend go and visit his UA-cam channel if you have some tinittus left. Hopefully one day I will get silence.
I am a Targeted Individual since 1985 and tinnitus just came 1st so loud in one afternoon. By 1993 the voices in the air came. Both tinnitua pitch and voices in the air did not stop until this day of 2022. The voices sometimes argue with me. And aometimes I made them into extreme anger. But my tinnitus sounds like the Cicada. Not near to this sound pitch.

Staying in the listening range makes sense. When the sound cannot be heard, it could be too loud which may or may not be problematic.
Thanks, Dale and thanks very much for your videos, I’m unfortunately a new member of this club at age 66 and your various maskers have helped a lot.
Thanks mam this sound is for me
Most welcome 🎧
Father, in rhe Name of Jesus we (pray with me) come into agreement here on Earth in asking for your Mercy. Please heal us and draw us closer to you. In Jesus's Name, we thank you for your Goodness and your Mercy, the Healing snd the Healer. Amen ❤🙏🏽
How Long am I supposed to listen to it for it to Work?
It all depends for me I will mask all day and night. When mine gets so Loud even over a box fan and using Dales masking sounds it does help by keeping the sound outside of my head. Good luck finding your happy place while learning to mask your tinnitus..
wow !
Do you have one to help us Id our best frequency?
Guys please don't listen it in high volume, please, listen in low 10% it works
How can I get your stuff besides UA-cam so I don’t have to keep the video playing? Are you on Spotify?
Ha it actually worked for me
This one sounds so different.
We need more 16k hz music.
Let me see what I can put together musically in this range. Thank you for the suggestion.
You are life saver. This is helping tremendously. May the creator bless you.
Éstos sonidos se escuchan con audífonos?. Desde Colombia. Gracias
What does it mean that this is 16k hz? Does it mean that people with hearing loss up to 14k hz for example can't hear this video?
It means people with tinnitus in the 16kHz area can use this to mask their tinnitus.
Hearing loss up to 14khz can hear cause it also has mix of low frequency sounds.
i was trying to deal with tinnitus with this sounds in low volume, there were not diference, until i up the volumen higher than the sound of the tinnitus it was big change, at the next day the sound was low, almost imperceptible.
For me this is the top, it can me sleep
Hey sir!
Tinnitus is curable?
I'm suffering from 4 days.
Plz help.
Life has become abnormal.
@@alexandruturza7131 Thnx.

Now i feel better.

Anyway, if you still got it I recommend go and visit his UA-cam channel if you have some tinittus left.
Hopefully one day I will get silence.
So far I can’t hear my tinnitus at all whilst listening to this. Thank you!!!
A blessing is upon us
...lol... so far I can't hear this whilst listening to my tinnitus... it's genuinely THAT bad. Oh well.
Not near to this sound pitch.
this is almost exactly how my tinnitus sounds like
Pretty darn close.
This masks my tinnitus but when I turn it off, my tinnitus sounds so loud and it takes about a minute or two for my brain to habituate again. Weird.
The same happens to me. Like the hole system disconnected
This is as close as I've come. But... doesn't the fact that I can't hear it unless let's all the way up mean I'm already beyond hope..? 🥺
Closest sound resembling my tinnitus
Sir can I hear with a headphone or earphone m suffering tinnitus ting ting ting ting 😔😔
In 2017 morning,I got up with tinnitus which never ended... 😥
I would advice you to take a warm bath or shower once in 2 days it helps to calm and relax your nerves. It all so may lower your tinnitus frequention
🦋🦋🦋
wait.. the noise disappeared😳
Thant's great
😊
Why don't you make a scale sight to determine what level we need instead of making us jump all over the place to figure it out.
There is a sampler of the noises in ascending order: ua-cam.com/video/IaZk8NbzxXU/v-deo.html
I've listened but didn't worked. I have exactly the same tinnitus.
ഇത് പൂർണമായും മാറുമോ
This noise can be earphone
I can't hear it. My tinnitus is so loud 😢
