I'm so disappointed by all of these uninformed comments. What's all this DJI comparison nonsense?!? Read the specs! Each motor of the Alta-X is capable of 6 Kilowatt bursts. The Inspire 2 can carry about 2 lbs tops (not even a standard, consumer grade camera). Don't compare your fishing boat to an aircraft carrier. Just stop it.
@@CaliforniaPhantom The Mavic 2 Pro is the best stealth drone I know of and for taking photos that isn't such a loss if it sinks to the bottom of the ocean. I would only use this drone over land, unless insured.
@@robertserbagi8561 can you understand that two things are light years away? Comparing a Mavic to a drone like the Alta X that can carry movie cameras is truly madness. If you are not competent in the matter, it is not necessary to comment!
I wouldn’t go that far, the Zenmuse X7 is a 6k camera after all. Have you seen footage of it? Perhaps 1% of the population would be able to tell the difference between it and some $100k ARRI camera attached to the Alta-X. And for that you’d probably also need a 6 or 8k screen. This one’s obviously better but I’m not sure if 5x the price better... the Inspire 3 is not that far away so we’ll see which one’s more suitable giving the varying needs of different users.
I have been directed to this company’s video from another channel that was trying out this drone. I really don’t understand how I have missed the ALTA X until now. It has been out for almost 3 years and it feels like it should be getting a lot more attention. Drones like these should be seen on a lot more channels. Let alone being trialed more for experimental work, in spite of its high price range. This kind of drone would be great for deliveries, but could also really help in areas of news reporting in urban war areas or even helping in Ukraine right now. Drones like these could be good for dropping munitions on the Russian soldiers and their conscripts. Bloody great work here with this design.
active blade system...wow you guys just changed the game. who would of thought that adding helicopter technology to a drone would of created such an amazing craft.

More than a few manned helis have rigid rotor systems, seems like good prop design could have the same effect with smaller parts count? Semi- rigid teetering is pretty old tech. Glad to see some research and inovation either way. Don't mind the trolls.
@@chrisonaguilar 50 minutes with no pl is definitely not a game changer. Game-changing only starts from 1.5h with no pl. This company build nice machines, but they are not a breakthrough.

Pretty sure this is supposed to be for Professional videography.. I’d chance to say most don’t use built in modes to film. They usually have pilots and then camera operators handling the filming itself.

Right!! I'm thinking to the sale thing. Flying thousands of dollars of equipment on a drone without redundant motors ..of you loose Just One motor, you loose anything..

James: I was flying the Alta X and it lost one of the motors and crashed with $60k camera set up. Jack: Nooo! But you had insurance, right? My FAA certificate is suspended too and I am trying to get it back!
It looks like it acts more like suspension on a car. The tiny thrust angle changes would have minimal effects as apposed to the shocks of flying though rough air.
The only flaw for me is that generally with quad-copter, you loose one motor/propeller and it's game over... Awesome piece of technology though especially this incredible new shaft motor design :O Have a great week and keep on flying!
For such an expensive drone they forgot the most important aspect , redundancy! Can it fly with 3 rotors, is it waterproof? Don't get me wrong it's a nice drone but where is the the backup?
2kool4myskool there is no drone that can fly when it looses one motor, it doesnt matter if it is hex or octa they still will most definetely fall. And the autorotation bullshit in matrice 600 is most probably not gonna work. You need to realize there is no such thing as redundancy of motors in drones
Very nice guessing the price will be very high 😅but still would love to ad this to my collection, as for the props I get the feeling they looked at flybarless rc helicopters for inspiration but still this is the only quad I’ve seen adapt that into the prop holder, gyro rotor what ever it wants to be called
