What a fun video series. Wolfie takes his part very seriously and it is such a great idea for each and every one of us. Use something unusual or something in a different way. Stretch our imaginations and talents. Amazing to watch you work through things to create a gorgeous work of art.
Oh this was so much fun to watch you play & succeed with the wonderful supplies you were given!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience & just enjoying the process & journey. Thanks to both you & Wolfe for being so inspiring to us fellow artists 👩🏻🎨 🫶🏻! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Sarah and Wolfy: that was so much fun, and yes, inspirational too. Encouraging us to get out of our comfort places. But I also want to thank you for the mini tour in the beginning, of your part of Scotland. That was such a treat! It looks so beautiful! You guys are the best!
You are such a fabulous artist. The grace you have when presented with these challenges is amazing- I might have wanted to curl up and just enjoy the scenery....
Yes! What a wonderful success 👏 I love spending this time with Sarah the Problem Solver (and Wolfy, of course) ❤ Maybe you could call this series Torture the Artist™ (because you’re right about YT) - but even more accurate, I think, would be Sara Proves That Any Tool Makes Art 🖼️ ✨😉
This is my favourite painting of yours so far! And I mean, there's a canion between how much I just can not stop enjoying it versus the rest of your work ❤ To me it's not about watching people suffer but staying grounded that it's not just me for whom it's hard...
What a fun little series. You two are hilarious. I was cracking up the whole time. Very fun way to get out of your comfort zone and be creative. ❤ wishing you an amazing trip.
Y’all are so cute. He may have taken some pleasure in this. But you did awesome. We is just proof tos that we don’t need a ton of supplies to go make art . Thank you ♥️
I love this. You used the three items I wanted you to paint with. I love how your painting came out and you gave me some more ideas on how to use my supplies. The second painting was interesting as well. A year ago, the first two weeks in September I went back to visit my whole family in Colorado. It had been 17 years since the last time I was there in 20077. I had a great time. I hope you have a wonderful time in America. Stay safe.❤😊
such a fun continuation of last weeks video! Love to see how you find your stride when presented with this challenge, and the painting was lovely!! such a cool way to mix mediums. can't wait for next week's video and to see the painting!
That was so good! Throw you in the deep end, and you really know how to swim, Sarah. And it turned out great! Your creative mind shines through. I am really looking forward to part two, painting with a feather, using your left hand 😂.
This was tons of fun, Sarah and Wolfie! Love these videos and you guys are just a joy to be out with. 😜 Thanks for being so chill about the challenges. But this is truly a bright spot for those of us who watch a LOT of UA-cam. 😘
17:24 I love that you get to choose your paper. If you continue this series, it would be fun to see you bring loose leaf papers and at the end put them in an album together
Bells will ring and Wolfie says "Stop touching the paint." 😂 As always you do make the most beautiful works of art. Thank you Wolfie. This was an amazing video. I have a challenge for Wolfie. Sarah gets to pick items for you and let's see what you make????
So much fun to see! You're incredibly brave and pioneering...love that spirit and the painting turned out great. Thank you for sharing the experience with us. Blessings.
I've been using water-soluble graphite for the last few months myself. I love them! The beauty of water-soluble graphite is that it dries waterproof, making it a joy to use with watercolor and gouache. A little birdie on this channel suggested Stilman and Birn mixed media paper sketchbooks, the smooth paper, like icing on the cake! 🥰 I'd love to see how your "feather" painting turned out. 😄
I love that my second and third choices made it into the mix: Fude pen and water-soluble graphite pencil. 😁 I sure enjoyed this video! Travel safely and enjoy your time. 🥰
I love these videos! The fan brush with the watersoluable graphite was a AHA! moment. I want to try a fan brush with watercolor pencils which I use for value studies. Also, Wolfy makes a great sketching sidekick!
Oh! Is this here to stay now? ❤ I love this! Shaky hand? You’re kidding me. Those lines look perfect! The left handed one is looking really good from the snippets too!
I enjoyed it! I gonna try my fan brush for more things. Maybe you could have tried an abstract for your left hand, that would have been really hard though
Hullo Sarah & Wolfey, I apologize for any misspelling, this was a lovely video and painting I am hopeful that you took a photo with your camera, a good still photo so you can finish our work on this painting in the future. It looks to be like a great sketch of something to be. I thought you did great within the constraints, in the end it looked smooth and easy. Good luck with part two of this adventure, I hope the time constraints did not hurt, it did not look like you were suffering horribly. Be safe take care and have a lovely vacation or time away or whatever you’re going to do.
Oh man, You are doing so well! Looking forward to next part, feel a bit like me when You're only allowed using the left hand, and no it wasn't me suggest that.
20:37 no, not suffer… we like the story arc. Once upon a time there was a really lovely lady artist with an absolutely delightful and handsome partner who has a slight impish streak. Every once in a while, with the help of their UA-cam ‘family’, he likes to throw his lovely Lady a problem to solve. So they go out for a romantic Cafe date, in picturesque Scotland and then he gives her a random art supply. She must wield her powers as an artist to make something as good as every other artwork she makes, for that is the magical power we all know her to possess. We gleefully watch her struggle (ok, maybe you do suffer a little) but conquer which make her so much more human and less “unrelatable artist”. Which ultimately is what UA-cam is about I guess. Thanks for sharing these adventures.
Love that Wolfie is so supportive in all this and takes part 🙂
They are such a cute couple ❤
He's my biggest cheerleader!
These episodes are so fun! Thanks for being such a good sport Sarah and so brave to take us along. Thanks Wolfie for being the supportive team member.
It was perfect for my mindset this week, only a few days left to pack then I can be in vacation mode 😎
This series is so much fun!!! And we don't want to watch you suffer, we just have that much faith in your skills ❤❤❤
Yes, not seen evidence of the suffering part as most of us I am sure are here to see fun useful things
This just shows what an incredibly versatile artist you are! Impressive
My goodness...why am I so excited for this?! 😃
What a fun video series. Wolfie takes his part very seriously and it is such a great idea for each and every one of us. Use something unusual or something in a different way. Stretch our imaginations and talents. Amazing to watch you work through things to create a gorgeous work of art.
I'm glad you are introduced more fun into your painting. And Wolfie seems more comfortable in front of the camera. Win-win, y'all!
I think Sarah has always fun in her painting
He doesn't love being on camera but really loves to be part of these types of "fun" videos which is great!
Again- so much fun, especially to see how Wolfie is so helpful! Thanks for keeping it real.😄✌️
This is fun! I hope you continue this random series when you get back. Safe travels!

@@jeanbCA oh yes! Have you read that book "torture the artist" from Joey Goebles? One of my favorite books ever😊
never thought ii'd be envious of any artist/location, but here we are...wish ii were the sketchbook ... Brilliant series... ty.

You really did a great job actually! This was so fun to watch ! Now I can't wait to see part 2 😊
16:20 The close ups are so satisfying to watch :D

This is brilliant, such fun and I can see quite freeing - brilliant!
Ok… this was awesome and I can’t wait to see the results of the left-handed painting 😊.
I have never used a fan brush…. I loved the way it worked making leaves and foliage like lines! I’m gonna have to add one to my kit ❤
I'm totally sold on the fan brush!
Your video brightened my day! Your art is so full of life and expression. It was a great challenge!
I really enjoyed this video! Very off the beaten path. The building piece is turning out really cool.
Anyone who knows anything about painting is going "a palette knife?😳". Great job and so much fun to watch.
And I was sweating 🤣 glad it worked out well
I eagerly await the next one with the fude pen! It's my favourite to use.
That was so good! Throw you in the deep end, and you really know how to swim, Sarah. And it turned out great! Your creative mind shines through. I am really looking forward to part two, painting with a feather, using your left hand 😂.
That's a great way to put it 😂

This is so fun to watch, I love seeing how your creativity sparks when trying to come up with solutions. Love the painting too!
I truly love problem solving - it was always my favorite part of the design process. Love being able to apply that to these situations
i love everything about this format!
Great fun watch, remarkable what you achieved with random items. Thanks Wolfie for your collaboration in this epic video, wonderful job.
17:24 I love that you get to choose your paper.
If you continue this series, it would be fun to see you bring loose leaf papers and at the end put them in an album together
I love the way you used the palette knife to create texture!
Wow! You crushed it!
What fun this was. You’re awesome
Loved to watch this! ☺️ Your first painting came out beautiful!
Excellent efforts under very interesting "tool" conditions.
I didn't even know water soluble graphite was a thing until recently, it looks so cool! 😮
Bells will ring and Wolfie says "Stop touching the paint." 😂
As always you do make the most beautiful works of art.
Thank you Wolfie. This was an amazing video.
I have a challenge for Wolfie. Sarah gets to pick items for you and let's see what you make????
PEOPLE ON UA-cam LOVE WATCHING PEOPLE SUFFER! IT'S TRUE! 😂😂
I loved this video! The blank stare at the end was hilarious
Fantastic…. Love what you achieved Sarah. Well done Wolfie
So clever how you used your supplies. Especially the palette knife
So much fun to see! You're incredibly brave and pioneering...love that spirit and the painting turned out great. Thank you for sharing the experience with us. Blessings.

Yea I was really diggin the WS graphite - in the past I used it just a little but tucked it away in the drawer and kinda forgot about it
So fun! And love Wolfie's involvement. Such a nice energy between you.
Wow that turned out really good well done 👍
I love that my second and third choices made it into the mix: Fude pen and water-soluble graphite pencil. 😁 I sure enjoyed this video!

Great!

I think the fan brush is very underrated!
Oh! Is this here to stay now? ❤ I love this!
Shaky hand? You’re kidding me. Those lines look perfect!
The left handed one is looking really good from the snippets too!
I think whenever I'm "too busy" or in a funk this is the perfect way to break out!
You did a fabulous job!
His American Accent, "Would you like a cappuccino milk shake?"!!! Cracked me up... Sounded a little valley boyish!!!😂.
He does funny voices all the time 😂 i love it
loving it
Love these

I used the word "suffer" very lightheartedly 😄
Loved this idea !😂
Oh man, You are doing so well!

Love how that turned out!

Or maybe a tick 😂
I'm learning watercolour at the moment I'm doing better than I thought
I'm laughing now!?😂
You are a geius😊Beautiful
Your challenge is watercolour pencils a water brush sketch only with watercolour pencils and make a painting from it
Well done. Hopefully breaks out of choice paralysis to realize skill level is high & not gear dependent.
woo, you did it! Next episode looks like it will be fun too.
