Liked this a lot! Would like to see more wildlife art from you; appreciated the array of tools and views. Extra nice that you added the animated rabbit during your editing process. A+🐰
I'm happy you enjoyed the video! I will definitely draw more wildlife, I'll make sure to film the process 😊 thank you so much for the sweet comment and for appreciating the animated hare too ❤️
Wow, this video is incredibly soothing and inspiring! I love how you blend different mediums to bring wildlife to life on the page. Your sketchbook spreads are a true work of art. Thanks for sharing your process-it’s giving me so many ideas for my own sketchbook!
Thank you, I'm happy you liked the video! I'm glad you liked the music too, it took me a while to find songs I liked. I hope you'll see a hare in person too someday 😊❤️
Thanks for taking us on a special Birds Eye view of your art work … loved it , it’s helpful to see what kind of brush or paint brush you’re using so thanks , also by taking it slowly we can learn a lot more about how to draw and paint … 🎊 🎉
Love your process and the super expressive marks of your artworks! Glad to have found this channel! Brava!👏(forgot to mention the brilliant colour palettes!!!)
The one you didn't like was the best of the lot! But like most of the other hares you sketched, it too lacked a tail. You seemed to forget to draw the hare's tail in your sketches. But hands down the one you did not like is way better than the others! The "ugly" sketch is not as messy and scribbly as the others, it is much more refined, the colors are more cohesive, and the proportions of the hare are much better. In that sketch I also like how you used the colors to define the features of the hare's face and structure of other parts of his body, like the back and chest. And in the "ugly" sketch, the mouth, nose, eyes, and even the whiskers, look much more realistic and natural, and I think part of that is the way you used colors to add shadows and contrast to the hare.
A realistic portrayal it's not always what I strive to achieve when drawing. I am all for "messy and scribby" sketches! It's always interesting to see how we all like different things. If you look at enough pictures of hares you'll notice that the tail is not always visibile when the hare is sitting. Thank you for watching and taking the time to share your opinion!
loved stumbling upon this video! i looooved having this on in the background while i did some work! adore all the mixed media, && omg i love rabbits so much :'o) awesome stufffff! ~SY
I so enjoyed watching this super cute video! Oh my gosh, your work is so lovely and watching you create it is satisfying, wow, well done! You got a new subscriber👉🤓 (it's me, haha)
Thank you! ❤️ I put a piece of paper between the pages. To avoid wasting paper I usually use some printing paper with misprints or paper stained with ink/gouache from other projects that I have laying around. As long as there aren't any graphite or pencils marks on it is ok.
Sigo sin comprender el uso del sketchbook. Todo el mundo hace casi ilustraciones completas y me hace sentir inútil por no poder hacer cosas bonitas, ¿es de verdad necesario hacer cosas bonitas en los sketchbooks?
I think people use sketchbooks in different ways and there isn’t a right or wrong way to use one. Sometimes I fill the pages with just graphite doodles or with blobs of colors and thumbnails as a study for a final piece. (You can see some of these pages in a previous video. They’re not final illustrations, they’re just studies) I think the most important thing is having fun while using the sketchbook. Thank you for writing this comment, I’ve been thinking about making a video on this topic for a long time, I will for sure film it in the future. I used to struggle with keeping a sketchbook in the past, if you keep practicing I’m sure you too will be happier about your sketchbook practice. Try different things. Don’t worry too much about other people’s sketchbooks, for me a sketchbook is a place to practice and learn so it’s fine to have drawings that I’m not very proud of in it. Keep drawing! :)
Thank you so much! ❤ The drawing is still there! I hardly ever cover a drawing I don't like, I think it's still useful to see what I like and what I can improve 😊
I like how free and comfortable you are switching mediums. Great job 💜💙💚
