And why wasn't something done about his 'mental problems'? If there were 'red flags' about this 14 year old, it is alarming that nothing could have been done before he murdered those students and teachers...Praying for the families of the precious people who were killed and for the ones who were injured.

Despite already graduating, my sister, my other family members, and their friends are still in school.
I graduated May, 2023 btw.
HOW DOSE AN ELEMENTARY STUDENT GET A GUN , THEY ARE STILL LEARNING HOW TO DIVIDE????
What makes it scary is that teachers and schools are no longer disciplining bad behavior. All because of parents.
I am a teacher: we are not allowed to. The schools are afraid of being sued.
So many schools want to disallow phones in school. I'm glad this school district allows them.
Because phones and social media contribute to the mindset that causes kids to shoot
They should disallow smart phones but allow flip phones
kids used to be safe and kids should be safe in school! What kind of trashy society are we that we cant keep our schools safe?!
Only an adult can purchase an AR-15, who gave the kid the AR-15?
Your funny if you think a kid cant get his hands on a AR-15. A gun store isn’t the only way to get a gun.
@@BleuBelairand so much easier to get his daddy's AR-15, which he did because it was easier.
Aw so gullible.
@@BleuBelair Yes, it can be parents or reckless gun owners who do not use a gun safe for their weapons and have their weapons stolen.
hey who authorized you to exercise a bill of right with out an FBI background check and where is your permit to use that weapon of disinformation? why haven't you registered with F.A.R.A. Foreign Agents Registration Act yet?
This is getting ridiculous. How is a 14 year old getting access to guns? This has got to stop.😢
Clarke County School District, which is the next county over from Barrow and where we live, has NO police presence whatsoever. It’s disappointing to know that the school district has no concern for our children and is treating this lightly.
HOME SCHOOL !!!
Courthouses , airports this doesn’t happen there because they’re safe, but our schools aren’t !
Because those places have metal detectors and other measures of security that people consistently voted against for hardening schools.
@@vgahren Are you hearing yourself? hardening schools? we need to ban guns!
It happens. It is not reported on national news. The frequency is less due to higher difficulty, not the tools. Nothing stops anyone from bringing firearms in airports or courthouses for those that know to circumvent security.
@@The_Black_Knight
"for those that know to circumvent security" You have an example?
@@ClassicFIHDPlease conduct your own research, but I will offer a legal example not criminal. Most people in the United States think it is illegal to CCW in an airport terminal. This is untrue as it only has validity inside the TSA security screened area. If qualified by profession and even some RFOs, a person can carry directly on an aircraft. Fairly common in the USA. Where people get in trouble is foreign countries without clearance during customs inspections.
The tragedy of seeing this girl who appears to have grown older than her mother from this experience is insurmountable. The look in her eyes is what I saw in my father, who served during the Vietnam War...a look of having shell shock. She too had been under fire from weapons of war.
The kid was on the FBI radar from last year ! HMMMMM
This is what happens when you put rights and liberties over regulations and duties.
It's all 4 all the time.
Watch how fast the good people of Georgia put their personal rights and liberties over regulations and duties.
Actions always speak louder than words.
I would Never Go Back.
Kid told what he was going to do last year…
These kids will never go back to this school it is a scar forever. I feel for them actually. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am in tears at my kitchen table listening to this. This has to STOP! Where were this killers' parents, how they did not know!
how can you expect these kids to get back to school and pretend it didnt happen.
14 years old ...
When I was 14 was living in Boston. ( Boston Massacre 1770 )The big thing going at the time 1972 was the MUNICH Olympic massacre in Germany and all the people got killed.
It's always been a sad world 🌍
Thankfully it’s rare in Germany and other first world countries. Sadly, it’s multiple times a year here in the US.
@@rachelt4792ummm, you had the Erfurt Massacre
@@chcandela74 oh I see, 2002. That’s why I said it’s rare. In the US, we had an uptick in the 90s and 2000s with a major increase in the 2010s and 2020s.
I pray Mom will Homeschool Ariel from here on out! We homeschool our 12yr. Old daughter, and 14yr old son. There’s many options out there when it comes to homeschooling, and you don’t have to be super smart to homeschool your child.
This is tragic, evil, and heartbreaking 💔 I’m so sorry this has happened, and everyone involved is in my thoughts, and prayers!!🙏🏽🙏🏽
I wouldn't feel safe sending my child back to that school either, and I feel sad that this is the world that they have to live in.
School just started and it's already an school shooting. What's sad is that the teenage girl said to her Mom that she doesn't want to go back to school anymore after what just happened 😢😢😢 and honestly I don't blame her because i wouldn't send my kids back to school either after a school shooting. She brings up a good point you can't be safe anywhere not even at your own school.
They couldn’t change the ending of that video to something more somber?
omg 😥😭omg what a beautiful thing to say on her Math teacher, Wow
😢 even though I live in Cincinnati this breaks my heart ♥ 😢😢
What is happening to our country? Lord God, we need You to heal our land.
Love and prayers to everyone. God bless you and comfort you. My condolences to the familues and friends of the victims.
Prayers go out to you all🙏😇
Typical day in USA. Just ridiculous. Rights over lives…..complete madness. 🙄
😢 My deepest condolence for the two students and two teachers that died R.I.P., and the other ones that were shot and injured. This is got to stop. I am glad and happy that my children are all big and don’t go to school no more because I would Let my child go to school no more too many school shootings going on in this world they have to make schools like a jail prison now so your children can be safe.
She's in shock. One day at a time.
Im glad she is alive. God bless her.
To All People I Wish I Was There To Protect You.
RICHARD.
Maybe stop taking Christmas photos with your toddlers holding up AR-15’s
Sadly, this is going to be a repetitive situation.
Check the student bag before enter in gate of school.
Check every student every time every student enters a room with a window that can be opened.
I’m trying to figure out if that school had metal detectors or not???
@@Latenightlisaevery time that is proposed, people vote it down
@@Latenightlisaone student said no.
But what did the students do to the shooter that caused him to snap????????? That's the missing story!
These Media keep retraumatizing these children. They need to focus on the real victims. Celebrating the lives of the children who were murdered. And informing public about shooter and that he made threats a year ago & was still allowed in school.
the word good morning doesn’t work well especially after such preventative , preventable tragedy ,people are literally in mourning right now, it’s not a good morning, rip , condolences to all the victims
Can’t control people with guns, why have em?
Being an european it is unbelievable that people in America can own these kind of guns or any guns.
I know, right? 😢
How are those knives working out for you?
@@MS-1994are you frightened of a 14 year old kid with a knife ? It really seems that is the point your trying to make .
@@dino9071 The point I'm trying to make is that there are dozens of knife murders happening in Europe right now. You can't "ban" evil. The problem isn't guns. It is broken culture. An armed security officer solved this problem, but armed security officers can't be everywhere.
@@dino9071yes I would be afraid of a 14 year old with a knife, if I wasn't carrying my gun.
I am so lucky that I grew up in the 90's to 00's boy.
HOW DID HE WALK INTO THAT SCHOOL WITH THAT GUN??????????????????????????????
The Sheriff Said He hid it in his Backpack That Morning
I will agree we are not safe anywhere this can and has happened in a lot of public places. Its unfortunate that towards the end the finger is pointed at the schools.
This is a new normal. So very sad.
It's not new. It's just like before and will be the same after.
This was horrible. How much worse would it have been if the armed security officer had not been able to stop the murderer. Only one of the two presidential candidates vowed to disarm security officers in schools.
So sad.
I wouldn't send my children I have children in school right now and I wouldn't know what to do if something like this is happening everywhere so sorry for the family's that lost love ones
Online school 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏prayers to the school and the victims
Kids don't respond to online. Another stupid comment.
Such a low standard for morality these days, no God, no reason, no logic ,no common sense teaching, today's standard are you identifying as whatever you want, obviously he identified as a murdering machine.
Praying for everyone and prayers y to I the ones who loss their loved ones !🙏🙏❤️❤️ There is no safety anyone at all I agree ! These kids will be going through a lot because a gun hit in the hands of the wrong person who had right to do what they did ! I have been in a shooting at a concert before and it was a scary situation 2 people got shot and people were running everywhere that was at a concert . School is to be a safe haven for our kids but from the past to now we have loss so many in out schools and had kids and staff injured too ! Just a messed up world ! I
Home school pls ppl.
Not the answer. Sorry.
@@cowetascore8476 what’s your solution?
Congrats, America, land of the free, born unsafe.
4:54 If it is an option for you homeschooling or online alternatives to public schools may be a safer answer.
Parents should be held accountable for their children’s behaviour, if the FBI had information that a child threaten to shoot a school, that parent should have done something to protect other children from their child. No excuse from the parents…..
Lack of proper school security. What is it going to take to protect our kids?
Why do new reporters ask the questions what do YOU THINK they felt.... we need to do better as society and when these things happen leave these children ALONE to heal.
People need to quit making it a priority to be their child’s friend and start parenting FIRST. My father always made it very clear I was not to touch his gun cabinet for any reason! This dad failed his 14 yr old son and their community by allowing the gun to be accessed and obviously not being involved enough in his son’s social life either to know what was up, surely he just didn’t not care. 💔
We can just give out thoughts and prayers. It works every time
See! Once again I’m glad these kids had their phones! They need to stop taking them from the kids at school. I want to be able to communicate with my child if need be.
Safety doesnt work that just makes outside a bigger easier target just dont panic.. or move to a safe school
Agree, that students need their phones in case of emergency....about the shooter, Why would a parent give a teenager a gun? That's insane, Whether he had mental problems or not. And why wasn't something done about his 'mental problems'? If there were 'red flags' about this 14 year old, it is alarming that nothing could have been done before he murdered those students and teachers...Praying for the families of the precious people who were killed and for the ones who were injured.
Home school don't let her go back😮
During an active shooting situation you should never “just follow orders”. Do whatever you have to do to get outside and run! The school is just trying to protect themselves by keeping a count and the police in Texas showed you how much of a crap they give about you. GET OUT by any means necessary and go to the nearest neighbor, gas station, restaurant or whatever and use someone’s phone. You are more productive alive than huddled in a classroom like a group of sitting ducks.
Yeah why not go out the window .if I was teacher I break the window to get my class out ..
