However, two students were shot; one female and one male. It occurred during lunch. The female student who was shot was sitting right across from me at the lunch table. She was wearing a white T-shirt, to make it worse. The male student was sitting at a lunch table next to ours. 34 years later & I'll NEVER FORGET THE TRAUMA OF ONE DAY! Put security in schools which democrats have refused to do! Homeschool your children and be thankful you have the right! Parents in other countries do not have that right and they live in tyranny.
The school had just put in a sophisticated security system. The question is how did a 14-year-old get an AR-15 and what did the father do to monitor and help his child?! Citizen's rights to easy access to assault weapons shouldn't supercede our children's right to liv safely and without fear.
The problem isn't guns. They'd just find another way. The older generations didn't do this. Every time people focus on the guns they fail to dig deep enough to figure out what's wrong with the younger generations. You'd save more lives keeping kids off the internet where they get desensitized than you would messing with the 2nd amendment. When you are raised with no values, you won't value life. I would start with the parents, who gladly let the internet raise their children so they don't have to be bothered with it.

For all the people who thinks cell phones should be 100 percent always banned in schools, think about these parents who were waiting to hear from their kids.
Phones don't belong in classrooms on normal schools. American schools and society are not normal, so maybe keep the phones in class. The thing is, how are school shootings even an issue. How sick is the country's society to have this problem. As someone from a developing country, I can't even imagine having to send my child to school every day knowing this is a possibility
The way my heart would’ve sank if I got this message. I know myself well enough to know I would’ve been physically sick. These kids don’t deserve to have PTSD just to go to school
There are more firearms in America than there are people, and zero laws regulating ownership. Background checks, red flag laws, mental health evaluations would all help to stem the epidemic of gun violence and irresponsible ownership.

...and the worst things we did as kids was to soap windows and TP houses. This INSANITY HAS GOT TO STOP. Social media is EVERYWHERE...small or large community doesn't matter. IT's about social media, bullying and pharmaceuticals given to kids.

They are their friends joke about, "yeah, I'm extra nice to that kid, so he doesn't shoot me when he finally breaks." You can't take all the kids who are withdrawn, odd, etc. and kick them out of the school. What is the answer?
@@christyg3013 the answer for me, and my family was homeschooling. I’m not going to worry about my children in a dangerous school all day every day, and I don’t want them indoctrinating my children either. Public schools are not safe and they’re not fit for any child to be in. They were created in another century when we needed them, we no longer need them in their current form. Kids today can school anytime anywhere.
The shooter should have been exposed to all schools & banned admittance to any public schools after he was identified as a threat in 2023. Maybe this would’ve prevented this tragedy!? It’s good some schools have training & technologies but what about metal detector front entrance door way? Do they have this? I think all schools should have this to help prevent kids from bringing gun to schools.

Please protect school children and teachers my heart breaks for the mother who lost her son truly sorry mam your son is so brave indeed 😢😢😢
Thoughts and prayers to the families that lost loved ones ❤
These kids are babies. Adults should be charged for access to deadly weapon and mental and emotional neglect. Teachers, administrators, parents. The entire system failed both the shooter and the victims.
the cops also failed, this kid was on a watch list for making threats, they knew he was dangerous but they believed the dad that the kid couldnt get at his guns. The law needs to take things like this more serious and not just shrug it off
You’re absolutely right. Hold the parents accountable and maybe these kids will stop when their parents are locked up

@@Thaqueentnb You should homeschool. Why do you send your kids to a dangerous place every day where they are indoctrinated? Don’t you want them to learn your values, beliefs and morals? There are many kinds of danger in schools, not just shootings. I had a woman get mad at me in the school parking lot because I wasn’t moving fast enough. She went into the school after my child. Luckily she didn’t take my child out the door because the school did not have their cameras on even though we pay for them. They sent the police to talk to her but she knew all our personal info by then and she started following me. I sat in front the school every day making sure she didn’t go back after my child again until we started homeschool. School your kids yourself and be glad you have the right to do so. People in other countries do not. Contact HSLDA in your state to get started. Whether you join them or not I think they will help you and they are great! It cost me less to join for one year than the last year of public school supplies cost me.
My condolences go to everyone who survived, and especially those who died, yall are the strongest in your weakest times, upbringing each other, and to all the parents who lost there kids, I hope you all can eventually find some closure and heal from the loss ❤
" How Does A 14 Year Old Student Just Walk Into School With An A-R 14 Military Style Weapon And No One Sees Anything!! This Has 2 Stop!!😢😢❤
My son, almost 10, was given a phone by his grandma, which he never took to school. But after this happened, i told him to take it to school and use it if he ever needs to text or call me.
This is just so messed up. I'm scared for my kids' lives AT SCHOOL.
It's absolutely insane.
What was going on with this 14 yr old at home that at 13 began to speak on shooting people my prayers to the families who lost a loved one and for the entire school May God keep you all safe
I am 46 years old. I was involved in a school shooting at the age of 12 (7th grade). This country ABSOLUTELY NEEDS STRONGER GUN CONTROL LAWS!!!
Fortunately, no one lost ther life on that day.
Everytime i hear reports of school shootings it takes me 34 years back in time to that day!
WE, AMERICANS, NEED TO FIND A BETTER WAY FORWARD FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILDREN!!!
This is a product of a Godless society! It’s not the guns! Wake up
I'm so very sorry you had to endure that. ❤
California has the strict laws and they have the most of these. In Wyoming an 18 year old can open carry without a permit and they have the least.
@@TimeToShine768 ah yes, blame school shootings... on religion. i can see how out of touch with reality you are
@@BaeSiss Take the rights away from everyone because of the losers? Do you have any idea what would happen to us then? The WHO would take us over and we would live in a dictatorship! NO! We always have had our gun rights and will never give them up. Blame the parents who are raising monsters. Enforce the laws that are already on the books. Put security in schools which democrats have refused to do! Homeschool your children and be thankful you have the right! Parents in other countries do not have that right and they live in tyranny.

I don't live very far from Uvalde. I still get scared when I hear sirens during school hours.
oh goodness. I remember when we were all talking about Uvalde in my class and freaking out.
Poor boy who had to see that.
Your child almost lost his life and instead of home schooling, you want send them back to school 😳
@@jushere4thacomments671 I can’t believe they send their kids back to public school. Crazy.
Because everyone can afford to be an unpaid teacher
I DO NOT EVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT LOSING A CHILD BECAUSE I AM SMART ENOUGH NOT TO HAVE ANY IN THIS EVIL WORLD WE LIVING. IN. SUCKS FOR THE PARENTS THAT LOST CHILDREN TO GUN VIOLENCE.
All of America is crumbling at this point. Everything in this country is unsustainable & broken
Its not even their fault just weak minded , victim mentality individuals we all gotta take accountability for our actions
Considering how this nation was built...kinda makes sense... unfortunately.

💯
She should be charged as well. She knew something prior to the event and sent it too late.
No metal detectors?? That is really surprising, cause this sort of thing is happening more and more. It's going to get to the point where most if not all students will be home schooled just to be safe and that is heart breaking.
@@dawnrex3712 We homeschooled. Our public school had cameras we paid for but they were turned OFF. Can you believe it?
Those poor kids…
We have failed our children and homelife for the selfishness of what people think is important.Give your time, inderstanding and love to your kids!

I want to know how was this kid still able to have access to firearms?!
Parents
Parents. Next question
There are more firearms in America than there are people, and zero laws regulating ownership. Background checks, red flag laws, mental health evaluations would all help to stem the epidemic of gun violence and irresponsible ownership.
@@Azrael_Garouthis is false, ref flag means anyone can have their guns taken just for pissing off a friend or family member, then it becomes a violating rights. Lose one right and lose them all.
@@Azrael_GarouAll those things exist already.
The kid should have been barred from school the minute the FBI was involved when he was 13.

A type of crime that takes away childhoods. That was a boy with a gun, not a gunman.
The news calls them gunmen or "young men" when the shooter is a person of color. When they're white, they show baby pictures.
He will be charged as an Adult and rightfully so
I'm sorry but a 14 year old is old enough to know better and should be charged as an adult. The father was warned, the FBI knew of him. This did not have to happen.
The boy’s parents should also be charged. They should do jail time too.

This is why kids should have phones at school. At least they can inform the outside what is happening and use it as a source of comfort in a horrific time. We average 5 school shootings a month, for God’s sake.
This is so unbelievably scary especially this close to home 😢

Well, if Jebus could've saved them but didn't, then doesn't that make him complicit?

She is right we as parents shouldn’t have to worry about our babies going off to school. 😢
What do you do with these high-risk kids? My boys come home and will mention certain kids as "future school shooter" because the kid acts a certain way. They are their friends joke about, "yeah, I'm extra nice to that kid, so he doesn't shoot me when he finally breaks."
You can't take all the kids who are withdrawn, odd, etc. and kick them out of the school.
And school just started. Sad
The shooter should have been exposed to all schools & banned admittance to any public schools after he was identified as a threat in 2023. Maybe this would’ve prevented this tragedy!? It’s good some schools have training & technologies but what about metal detector front entrance door way? Do they have this? I think all schools should have this to help prevent kids from bringing gun to schools.
unfortunately teacher and principles don't take this stuff seriously anymore including the signs and warnings so I'm not shocked.
what do you propose the teacher to DO? even the fbi didn't do anything
How come none of these newscasters are asking where is the security for these schools? This is going around the country of kids shooting in schools why has there not been universal security in place at every school??😡
@@Hoodamanow Read the article “ DEMOCRATS introduce bill to get police out of schools” by Forbes.
