The Last Waltz (2002)
¡IMPORTANT!
If anyone thinks they have footage (audience or professional) or an audience recording that no one else has (or that I haven't published) and wants to make it public, they can contact me.
¡IMPORTANT!
I never liked that they shortened the songs so that the movie didn't last that long, or at least they could have given them as bonus material for the 40th anniversary
Van really brings it and The Band is so tight. My favorite part is late when both Robbie and Levon are smiling as if to say "How great is this?"
Perfect song for Van Morrison and the Band. No other cover of Caravan comes close. Thanks for the memories 💞✌️❤️🌼
Definitely
Isn't that the greatest 'drop the mike' moment in rock history? Love it!
So moving get it Van.
Yeah
He rocked the whole crowd. What a show!!!!!
How could it be better!
That kick!!!
Soul music
He stole the show - almost inconceivable when you consider how good that band was.
Van Morrison... What more can you say about this jazz singer. One of my favorite!
No one better at the drums than Levon
VAN THE MAN!
Such a great voice. Van the man and the band🔥🔥this is fn legendary. So fn good. Our parents used to go see shows like this for 10$ or less🤘🤘i shoulda been born back then
Brilliant editing - thank you so much for restoring the "missing" verse...
Van the Man .. 😎
Van's voice is always perfect. Like a great Jazz singer, singing Blues style for Rock songs! Perfection
You what. He's so high he's slurring his words all over the place and I adore this song.
Van has to be in the discussion for best singer ever.
He IS!!!
Yes yes
Great Quality! The best version of Caravan ever!
And in my opinion the best performance from The Last Waltz
@@jamesangelo7740 Yes, the best performance on the night but not the best version of Caravan. It's Too Late To Stop Now is the ultimate Caravan.
Just A Account...You genius, the missing verse!! Thanks so much for this. You realize I expect it to be in color by next week. Peace and Love from Canada.
No doubt van the man slayed back in the day 🤣🤘🤘this performance is professional quality musicians at its finest. They are incredible and a reason they are The Band🔥🔥🔥🍻
Wish I could have been born to experience this ❤
Watching this is a religious experience
‘ turn on your radio Van 😮
Love! Van is the man!
Van Morrison’s mic drop moment
That's why he's Van the Man !
Van is 100 percent soul
Turn it up just one more time
Your editing is outstanding. Thanks so much for making these songs right. Didn't think it was possible to enjoy these on a higher level, but you have taken it there.
Damn what a good time.
You said it, mister ! That's why people still want this 45+ years later
One of my favorite live songs of all time! Van was and still is one of the greatest.
Great mix .you are the man JUST AN ACCOUNT !!!
I wasn't there but I assure you the quality of sound and atmosphere doesn't compare to any modern band amongst any genre. Fn levon Helm Robbie and co with a brass section and van the man. Yeah I shoulda been born back then 🤘🤘
Wow!
Who cares if he was drunk he still is awesome!
He looks more than drunk.
He was not drunk. His usual power ❤
Love that he probably forgot where he was and sang the third verse for the second verse, noody missed a beat, he sang the second verse later. They all are improve artists
I found Van's red sparkly suite at a flea market and wear it often with swagger.
Så godt, bliver glad ♥️♥️♥️🇩🇰🤗
Leon's tempo change at 0:16 to 0:18 ish is... what's better than chef's kiss? Transcendent? Can't be more than a few bpm adjustment but damn.
Sing it to me ........
The song was playing at my job (Super Shoes), I had to tell (teach) my younger co-workers who was singing this song, and they should watch this version on UA-cam. Oh, I felt like an old woman. But if I had said that I'd have tell them about John Prine and Bonnie Raitt.
You have pretty kick ass music in your store. 😊
If you want to know what soul music is all about, you don't need to collect Motown or old Atlantic records. You should watch this performance first.
drunk as hell
I doubt that.
@@kevinrowland4657I shudder to think how many coca plants gave their lives backstage that day.
@@kevinrowland4657..I think it was pretty well known that van drank too much. I don't think it affected his performance, at least not here. 😊
I mean I love his voice, but Van seriously needs to stfu sometimes and just let the song breathe and the band take a couple measures, not just in this, b all his songs. Like stop scatting and oohing and ahhing for the love of God, its sounds stupid!!!
