Currently working on Ford Fiesta. Got gearbox and engine problem. Head gasket probaby have blown and the head already dented. Going to swap the engine and needed some guidance the easiest and fastest way to take out the engine. Thanks bro. Hope you in good health👍👍👍
Definitely informative! I just did this on my Focus, and the Focus seems a lot easier just having all that much more room. I hope that the new motor is in great shape.
job well done 💪💪 i do have some questions if you could assist me i have a 1.25 fiesta and i just bought a 1.6 engine of the Ford focus 2013 model (the wirings and the ecu) my question is can the old five speed transmission fits with the 1.6 engine or should i buy the 1.6 transmission?? thanks in advance for your answers
I just replaced the engine in my 2014 Fiesta SE with the 1.6 and a manual transmission. My wife had the timing belt "walk" off the cam gears and shred itself against the aluminum engine mount. I figured that while i was replacing the engine, I would take the opportunity to replace some wear items. I replaced the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel with replacement items from Rock Auto. When i got it back together, it now wont start. It cranks but will only crank for a couple of seconds. A message displays on the center info screen that says "Immobilizer Malfunction Service Required" I took it to the lical dealer to see if they could diagnose it. The tech says he isn't getting a crank signal. So he replaced the crankshaft position sensor. It didn't work. He now thinks the flywheel might be to blame. The CPS reads the back of the flywheel. Is there anything i could look into before pulling the drivetrain back out and replacing the flywheel?

I have a manual trans so do you think I will clear the input shaft when pulling motor or will I run out of room up against the frame?
I think your best bet is to pull the transmission first. They're easy enough to take out
Was able to change engines in a 2012 fiesta thanks to video.
Saved grandson lots.

Theres 3-4 different length bolts for the engine to transmission. Did you keep track while removing? I should have made a cardboard layout...
Shorter bolts go on the bottom (oil pan to transmission) longer bolts on the sides near the dowel pins. Middle Sized bolts up top (upper bellhousing)
@@BigBensCarsAndCycles excellent. Great success mmkayy
Does the dog bone need to dive off? It's attached to the trans and not the engine.
It'll allow for extra movement in the transmission if needed
@@BigBensCarsAndCycles gotcha, just finished pulling mine and didn't need to take it off. We'll see how well the new one goes in.
А какой расширительный бак лучше ставить . О какой машины ?
