I love those paint colors. Great job Dixie Belle! It's difficult to choose a favorite, but I think the Merlot is my first pick, then the Pumpkin spice and Juniper. But if you need white that Cashmere looks gorgeous.

They're all gorgeous, and the pumpkin isn't too orange but Latte is my favourite. If you could use this on faux leather, it would be a fun twist on the woven trend to do a plaid something (basket?) with these.

I recently found a mid-century modern dresser in my grandmother's basement. I going to refurbish it and keep it forever so I have something to remember her by. When I was thinking about colors, something like Juniper would look so nice on it.
I love the new fall colors and went to buy one - all that was left is Merlot. It's beautiful but not the color I wanted for my piece. It's September 26th so you (and whoever else may have mentioned this) have done a good job of helping to sell out these great colors from Dixie Belle. I hope Dixie Belle will consider bringing the colors into their everyday color line. They are all very nice colors. Thanks for this video! I've wondered what to use and why to use it for a while now.

Is there a reason you wouldn't use a water-based polyurethane? It offers the most protection and comes in a different sheens. Genuinely curious.

Didn’t realize the Hemp Seed Oil is food safe! If something painted with DB paint and then sealed with Hemp Seed Oil still food safe? If so that’s a game changer. Love the fall colors and they compliment SO WELL!! 🍁 👀

Thanks for sharing this. I know it was last year but I just did a quick "dixie belle tutorial" and this showed up. I'm a retailer and I wanted to put together some DB classes. This was a lot of information and in an easy to digest (and fun) format. And you reminded me that I really need to do more swatch boards.

I loved seeing all the new colors (Merlot has to be my favorite, even though I'm a green girl through and through) and the difference in the top coats. Thanks for taking the time to do this. And from one Tennessee girl who's sick of Summer and can't wait for Fall to another, here's to hoping the crazy rollercoaster ride in between is short and done. :)

I have never tried chalk paint and I have an old nightstand that would be a perfect piece to try the Juniper. This was a super helpful video, I’m thinking of making the jump from regular furniture/cabinet paint to chalk paint to get better finishes.
I'm all subscribed to all the channels for a while now....but I forgot to mention what color I would love to try. :LOL....how do I pick?! If I would have to pick just one, I would say Merlot, only because it is so out of my comfort zone, and it looks just AMAZING!!!!!

Im getting 'latte' because I just received 2 colors from the regular line in Drop Cloth & Sand Stone which are very very similar in color for my huge four poster scrolled decorated french canopy bed that actually came with a distressed artisain finish in a golden wood tone darkened in its many detailed crevices. But its time for me to work my magic in painting my furniture. Wonder why this is the second time Ive hard the new color Merlot said Merlo with a silent T ?! I always said Merlot with the T in the end....

Thank you so much for this informative video 👏👏👏❣️ It's something I question all the time is what top coat I wanted to use or try or even buy for my own pieces 🥰❣️❣️❣️ I'm restarting doing a bunch of pieces that I have waited oh my gosh over the last 20 years to do, they're all mine and they're all for me I just was not well enough to do them and I'm getting to the point where I'm going to be able to so it's really nice to see these top coats and which one would be best for me to use with what paint 👍❣️❣️❣️ as for the limited edition paints...OMG I really love the Latte & the Juniper, I mean LOVE💝❣️❣️❣️ I have been trying to find a color for one of the first pieces I'm going to be doing and their new color latte is exactly the color I've been looking for, exactly 😲❣️🤭❣️❣️❣️ Not to mention I would really have to try the juniper 👍❣️❣️❣️ they're all gorgeous and I would love to see you do a piece in a few of the colors that you like. That would be awesome 😉 Thank you again for all of your insight and input and even showing us up close the finishes and how they look over these new paints. I’ve watched your videos over and over! I’ve never used Dixie Belle, but now I have a cart full of colors on their website. I can’t spend a fortune, but wanna try all their stuff! Choosing which colors to try first is tough. Love all their options. Because of you, I’m shopping with them! Me and my husband are just starting our own furniture flipping company. I’m used to using lots of chalk paints, but Dixie Belle seems to have amazing colors and waxes. Can’t wait to try them!!!

I've heard that you can use water based clear coat on your oil based NO PAIN gel stain. Would you know if this correct? and if it is, what would the wait time be?
