I am a 22-year survivor. Early detection is definitely the key to the best chance for long-term survival. Your friend was diagnosed at what is considered an early age. All my best wishes for her full recovery. It is a lonely road, even with good support.

As the granddaughter of a breast cancer survivor this piece brought me to tears. I love the subtle conch pink @DixieBelle. The transfers are so elegant (I confess I’ve wanted to try the transfer (they look a wee bit intimidating) I believe I have a similar piece and will try something in silk. My sister is a 25 year survivor, if its caught soon enough it can be overcome. My thoughts are with your friend and all those who are fighting their battle with this disease right now. My favourite colours are the duck egg and sage green colours, and dark navy too. Your work is always inspiring.

Christina, i am very sorry for you, your friend and your loved ones. My childhood friend was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 years ago. It was early detection that probably saved her. She now has been 4 years cancer free and doing extremely well. Sending love and faith to you all. It’s hard to comment on your piece, knowing what you all are going through xx. But the piece has so much love invested, its more than beautiful…..its a treasure. Truely, Conch is my new favourite colour and i especially love the pink wash on her legs. Love your channel. This turned out beautiful! I think it’s my favorite shade of pink! I will pray God’s healing for Tallie. I too am a recent Breast Cancer survivor. Diagnosed 3 days before Christmas and 3 weeks after I opened my retail paint boutique with Stage 4 triple negative. Went to my liver, however after 6 months of only Chemo, there is no sign of Cancer. I feel God has healed me. I am a living testimony that God heals! Thank you for doing this piece for Breast Cancer Awareness! I got my mammograms every year and in March 2020 when Covid hit, I was not able to get it until December 2020. It’s so important to get them. I’m 57, soon to be 58 in Dec.
I always donate to breast cancer in memory of my grandmother who was a breast cancer survivor. Conch is a beautiful color on this piece of furniture.

My cancer too was caught in early stages and after having 1/3 of my lower right libe removed I am cancer free 17 months now, with no chemo or radiation 🙌. Wow I agree those legs are awesome! I wouldn’t have thought this outdated style could look so appealing again. Silk paint sounds amazing. I love that it’s more of a satin finish and self levels so smoothly. If I had to choose it’d be between Conche, apricot and flamingo they all look beautiful.

I love this!! I am ‘pink’ crazy, I want everything in my bedroom to be pink! (And I am 64!!) Years ago, my Mother bought a beautiful pink and white Brahms Mount cotton blanket; and when she bought it, I was so jealous!! We laughed so hard at that, my Mom has now passed, but I sleep with that blanket every night! ❤️

I love how flawless and smooth this came out. Tea rose was definitely my favorite color, until I checked the website specifically for modern pinks for my daughter, now the Peony is my new favorite, so versatile, easy to blend!
My favorite paint is the one I’m using. Right now that is Juniper mixed with a little buttercream. I’m redoing my aunt’s steamer trunk and it is turning out great❣️
