I think when they start they are likeable, like Zion, Ja, Simmons, Ant, it's when they're blinded by max contracts and getting paid off their "potential" that I find their character is revealed, all of the sudden Zion can't put down the fork, Ja can't put down his toy gun, Simmons has the yips and can't shoot anymore, Ant has recently I felt been more arrogant but he's still got a work ethic and passion to an extent but the disrespect to past generations is certainly unlikeable now. I still enjoy Jokic cause he's putting in the work 100%, my only downside to Jokic's work ethic is that it's literally work to him and he doesn't have a passion for the game like others which is a weird and I suppose refreshing take on playing in the NBA which has been really diving into Business and Entertainment and not professional sport.

as usual, laws were put in place for a society that consisted of law abiding players, and some spineless people have ruined the system over the last 20 years.

@@leonhardable I find the problem specific to that lies on the Injury reserve program, they need to make that more concrete like the other Major League sports which have mandatory minimums of how long they are on that list for like MLB has a 10-day injury and I think NHL has a 7-day once you've been put on that list. For the NBA they just "file" a report of "injury" and then they can classify it as questionable, out indefinitely, probable etc and most likely is a fake report to then choose to play or not. Like for example and James was on the Injury report I would say about 60 games but played 71 games is just simply an exploitation of those rules that are indeed supposed to help truly injured players

These dudes aren't stronger, faster, bigger or better at anything today. Please stop telling that lie because it isn't true. The three most athletic players ever were Wilt, Russell and Jordan. Russell and Wilt were track stars in college. Wilt was the only player that ever benched 500 or more that ever played in the NBA.
Go do some research on the 90's the weight lifting decade. Earl Boykins at 5'5" and 135 lbs benched 350. Avery Johnson at 5'11" and 185 lbs benched 400. Robert Pack at 6'2" and 185 to 190 lbs benched 400. These were all confirmed by trainers and teammates. I don't think any big man in the current game could do that and those were little guys. These players aren't more skilled because hardly no one has post or midrange with carrying and traveling allowed. All they do is shoot 35 footers.

To put it into perspective, the average superstar gets about 35 minutes a game, some more, some less. Even if they played all 82 games at 35 minutes, that's roughly 41 hours. And there are so few players that play all 82 games, that they actually play probably closer to 35 hrs. So......8 months to do a week's worth of work; barely making full time hours or nice part time work hours. All with a way too small court, ample breaks like every 3 minutes or less, unlimited subs, and a relatively non contact sport. How these "professional athletes" can get tired, or injured like, at all, is absolutely insane. And that's beside the problem of that they really don't want to even play. They just want the money and fame. Of all the team sports out there, it's definitely one of the lamest, and these pros nowadays are an absolute joke.

While Kobe was still playing his last two years the league was already Charmin soft. Now they wear mandatory goggles in the locker room while spraying champagne on each other

Embiid got a false MVP because he cried and blubbered about it. Meanwhile champion ironman Tatum gets hate for being corny. This is the media and fanbase we’re dealing with here.

The worst part is Larry Bird recently defending this generation of players, like he doesn't know they take a crazy amount of days off he never got

Drummond is one of the best rebounders ever, though

Andre Drummond does have the sixth most rebounding titles of all time and the 14th highest rebounding average of all time. He's no that good at anything else, but he is a good rebounder.

He did make it known in his rookie year and many times he likes soccer and was a soccer player first but then a basketball coach wanted him so he just took it because it was a opportunity for a better life

Bunch of entitled divas. It is what it is. They shouldn't have ANY right to complain because they are some of the most privileged people in the world. Getting millions to play a game.

7:53 I see highlight after highlight of today's "stars" being allowed to just switch their pivot and travel to make much easier shots.

In a middle if a pick up game I almost dislocated my knee. I straight my knee out it slide back into place i got up and ran up court like nothing happen lol. What am i trying to say i was not going pro and grew up on the court you have to be tough. Mind you i am 5'7 weight 170 pounds so i use to take a beating on the court lol
