Thank you as always for taking me back to the area I love. I always appreciate and enjoy your videos, but none more then when you fly into and out of beautiful South Florida! I do miss it so!
Yeah, it's not speed tape. I believe it's just a polished section of the cowling. Speed tape is much more defined. You'd be able to see the edges. Perhaps there were small dings and they were just polished out? One potential answer. In the end, I'm not 100% sure.
I try not to have favorites. Right now though, Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines are the best US domestic carriers. Spirit, Allegiant, and Frontier are all pretty close on the other end of the spectrum.
Technically it's nothing. Someone in the comments suggested that it's speed tape, but it's not. It's actually just a polished section of the cowling. Perhaps there was damage, and polishing it out is an approved FAA repair method? Not sure, but it's just sections of polished metal.
@@peeps_8644 Most of the time, no. I typically hold the camera by hand. This prevents vibrations from transferring into the footage and warping the footage. On rare occasions I do use a RAM mounts like this one: www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-166-UN10U
Always good to see the MAX! Every plane deserves a second chance! 😁😎✈️

Another great video thank you for shared.
YES THE MAX
Very nice !!
Enjoyable video...great job!!! Btw....the left engine cowling has similar “polished” marks. Flew this bird into Miami. A few weeks back.
Interesting to know. I never saw the other engine because of the jetways and my seat
Beautiful max 😍
Great video!
Bit of speed tape good as new
What's those spots on the engine 🤔
some kind of tape it looks like...or a reflector? others are calling it speed tape
If you compare this to other photos of cowlings with speed tape, this looks like something different.

Makes sense

Sounded like a firm landing
Great video hi from the caribbean trinidad...... miami my favourite👍👍
Thanks my friend!
Just curious at 52 seconds in what is the airport in front of the engine?
Nice one 👍
Thanks my friend!
One camera. Two planes in approach phase. At least three likes if I could...
6th comment also love the vids keep up the good work =)
Great video! Honest question, what is your best and worst of any airline that you experience?

How is your flight enjoy your stay Miami Florida FL
I can smell the HOA from the air
😂
Was that a Saturday morning flight in Miami?
No, this was a Tuesday morning flight.
What is that on the cowling ?

Hey! What do you use to film? I’m going on a trip coming up and just looking for some pointers. Thanks
I film everything you see on my channels with iPhones. I currently use iPhone 11 & 12 Pros.
@@sla31 do you use any kind of mounting apparatus?

@@sla31 thanks so much!
Wonder how it got that speed tape 🤣
Is that Mar A Lago? 19:05
No. Off the top of my head I'm not sure what that is, but Mar-a-Lago is much farther North of Miami, and is on the beach.
Let’s just ignore the 747 DREAMLIFTER LANDING ON THE OTHER RUNWAY
The engine cowling already got damaged, unbelievable. you can clearly see it :/
That's just peeling paint, the structure was not damaged. They'll spray paint it next time in the shop I' sure.
Lol. Speed tape on the nose cowl.
