- HEY! Yes, I did it. I personally felt that it was time for a change. I cut and combed out my locs after a 5 year loc journey. Working on and off, this process took over a month! thanks for sharing your journey with all of us! I was a loose natural for 8 years ill be on my 1st year of locs in November. I think its wonderful our generation has the love, support, and education on how to wear our natural hair the way we want too. there is no need for relaxers or weaves for most its just a personal preference instead of a crutch. locd or loose being natural is beautiful and im happy we get to go back and forth for the rest of our lives. keep exploring Kennedi!

Girl I can see you with a short cut like realllly short . I’m on my second set. I’m the exact opposite I got tired of my loose natural hair I’ve done everyyyyy hairstyle and now I’m ready to keep my locs forever !!! I’m three months in about to be four . I’m 31 about to be 32 I always said I want to be 40 with long locs lol 😂 but babyyyyyy trust me you will start them again ! Lol and wish u never cut them . Everybody who cuts always does lol . I wish I never cut mine girl 😭😭😭😭 I hate the beginning journey
It’s funny the 1st video I found was about loc maintenance and now you’ve cut them lol. Kiddos for having the courage to do so. I always said I’d cut mine at 40.

I cut my locs down to the new growth a couple months ago. I hadn't even had locs 2 years. But, I wanted my natural hair back.

No lol still be motivated! 💛 It was a fun & enjoyable journey, but I was ready for something new. I still have them in a bag so who knows, I may go back one day. 😂
