I figured out why her shoulder hurts. If it's the arm she holds the camera that will make all the muscles and tendons seize. If it's the other arm it's because of her one handedly lifting everything.

@@chelly2517 well yes of course but I will tell you after months of lifting heavy boxes and then getting carpal tunnel where only one arm could be used I ended up with severe shoulder pain. My surgeon put cortisone in them to loosen everything up with a little physical therapy.

I can’t say anything. My 17 daughter and I spent Easter Day with my best friend of 29 yrs and her kids at Hershey Park. My daughter is addicted to the adult legos. She has every flower one, the Vespa and the sleeping fox which is super cute. She just picked up a set that has a different insects to build. Helps with her anxiety a lot

PSA if you have a car seat and the styrofoam breaks before buying a whole new seat, call the car seat company. You can often get a replacement part for less than $10 and a new seat can be a couple $100. I know this because ours broke and we had to order a new part.
To be honest, I’ll prefer to shop at six in the morning because you don’t have to be around so many people.

@@cursedreact Okay! Where I live, we get a lot of like spring breakers or winter Texans, or a lot of vacationers. Because it’s like a whole island where I live or something? It tends to get really crowded at the store and it’s just really bad. I prefer when it’s at night or morning, and plus my anxiety doesn’t kick in.

Our shop that early because if I don’t, I will be in a mob of shoppers because the particular grocery store that I shop at is an extremely popular one. Plus it’s just something I’d like to get done and get out of the way and have some level of peace doing it.

I'm a stay at home Mom with an autistic child, I'm in bed by 11pm and I don't wake up until 6:30 am, lack of sleep is not a flex it is dumb, I wouldn't touch Alicia's taco pasta 🤢 but I make a good taco pasta because I can follow a recipe.

When you get old it is normal to wake up and 4am. I use to be a night owl . Since I hit 36 I go to bed at 8:30 n wake up at 4am. All my older friends do too. 6am is a great shopping time for moms. Everyone's in bed and you can go shopping alone in peace and get back to get everyone out of the door for school .

This was excellent!! I enjoy your commentary, you are hilarious! Fluff & peanut butter on crackers is really good. I don't like marshmallows, but Fluff & PB is delicious. We do have bank cards that draw off our checking a/c's and can be considered Visa or MasterCard also. It's pulling from your own money. If you are at a register & chose Credit, it takes 2 days to process the transaction from your account as opposed to Debit which is an immediate withdrawal. Plus, if you choose Credit, no PIN # is needed. I had to reply to this first comment, because I didn't see where I could start a new comment. You really are talented, I totally enjoy your humor and take on our Alicia 😂

That's wild that you can just pay with credit without a pin. Here, we use tap to pay, which I've heard isn't as commonplace in the USA. That doesn't need a pin. But it's limited by transaction size. I think the max I can tap with my credit card is $200. After that I have to insert the chip and enter a pin #. Same with my interac card.
So for those receipts she showed, she'd have had to select the account for each transaction?
@@MyRandomComment728 also, although we have separate cards for credit and interac, I can use either to access my bank account at my bank's ATM. And I can manage both accounts and the cards from my phone. As both accounts are under my bank account. Just managed by different cards. So if I lose one, I'm not SOL.
😂 i get to the grocery store at 7am on a saturday in Ontario. Because its empty. The store has a starbucks inside and a get a hot coffee in peace without the kids. Also its the only chance i get the 50% off meat and produce that is pretty fresh and not picked over. Im a morning person tho
I don't understand how she can function so well that she's at the store's parking lot that early. I'm not a morning person, at all. There was this one time when I went to the store shortly after it had opened at 7 am. It was in the middle of winter and I'd been up all night so I think I'd suffered some short-term brain damage. I went to buy my things, came back home, put everything away and went straight to bed. I've never done that again and I don't think I ever will.

I was in Walmart last week, I picked up that bottle of Bisquick Shake and Pour pancake mix because I was curious. It's dry pancake mix in the bottle and you add the liquid at home. Just to set your mind at ease about shelf stable liquid pancake mix.

@@Dawn_______ 1) maple syrup comes in cans, plastic jugs, and glass bottles. Quebec is known for its maple syrup. (Which makes sense, we share a border/geography with Vermont and New Hampshire.)
Most Canadians (especially Quebecers) swear by canned syrup, as that's typically what you'd buy. It's sold in grocery stores and directly from producers (many come from small farms). Brown plastic jugs are also acceptable (usually 1-2 liters). You find those at farmer's markets and at the producer's storefront. I usually see those in Ontario and the maritime provinces.
Glass bottles tend to be tourist fare. Although artisan producers also use them. If it's a maple leaf shape, it's a souvenir. If it looks like alcohol, it's artisanal.
2. I don't know if I've had Pillsbury canned biscuits. I make mine from scratch, as does my mom, and my nan. The canned kind aren't normal for my family. As we typically have the ingredients on hand, anyway. They don't take that long.
That being said, I've never had monkey bread. But you'd think it'd be something more like a donut or fritter, no?
@@cursedreact Thanks for the maple syrup info. I had never seen maple syrup in a can. I've seen it in the tan old time alcohol jugs and in the glass maple leaf jars. I will be on the look out for maple syrup in a can.
Monkey bread is like a cross between a doughnut and a sticky bun. You take a bundt pan, place little balls if dough(we always used the canned biscuits) that are rolled in cinnamon sugar then bake it. When done baking, turn it over onto a plate . The cinnamon sugar becomes an oooey gooey sauce that covers the dough balls.
As a large family mom, I can say that many large family moms shop at 6am. A lot of them are morning people.

She throws things into her cart like i do when i walk out with one or two bags. She's got a whole A5 size paper list and she cant be bothered to stack the boxes? She even makes a comment in the beginning that she's grabbing "cart number 1" like she expects to get another cart so why bother trying to stack things neatly?
As someone with a chronic stress injury to his wrist, there are different kinds of over the counter wrist braces because they are usually not designed to be ambidextrous- so theres already double the type of brace, one type for right hands, one type for left hands. Then, there are different kinds of injuries that need different types and levels of support, so theres an extra dozen or so kinds of brace there as well.
If she genuinely has a serious injury to her wrist like Carpel Tunnel (which often requires surgery), because of the nature of our wrists and hands and how we use them for literally everything, she should be going to see a doctor or a sports injury specialist and getting a custom fitted brace exactly for the kind of injury she has. Over the counter braces don't work as well for supporting a healing injury as ones fitted exactly to you. Not only that, but there are many injuries that a splint or brace is NOT recommended to be worn consistently during day to day function, such as tendonitis or injuries related to hypermobility (like mine), and are only to be worn at rest like sleeping, where you may end up twisting your limb weirdly.
She should also be making use of a physical therapist.
And you know damned well she can afford it.
Yep! I completely agree. My mom had surgery in both her hands for carpal tunnel and had to see a ton of specialists and do all sorts of exercises. She got into crafting to keep her hands/fingers moving. Hell, I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and they recommend exercising your hands/any affected body part.
So it's odd to me that her GP recommended a brace without doing more investigation into it. Especially as it does affect her ability to do things.
For as much as she goes to Walmart, she should know where everything is! Also, I think she wastes so much time going back and forth all over the store. She should just go every day, and not go out of the store with four hundred carts!

The last four digits of the card number on each receipt and they are the same. She's using the same account/card for each transaction she just used her pin number on the smaller one and swiped as credit on the larger.

If you look closely itt's the same card as it shows the last 4 digits of her card number, which is 1398. It shows on both reciepts. If it were different cards the last 4 digits would be different on the reciept.

Some cheeses (aged, hard cheeses for example) don't really contain lactose. But the milk, cream, ice cream is more confusing.

It takes me a couple weeks to go through my creamer and the bottle is smaller than that!
I use about a litre - litre and a half of almond milk a week for my coffee. Sometimes I buy the Starbucks coffee enhancer and add a splash. I couldn't drink JUST creamer like that, though. Too much of the coffee enhancer makes me feel sick. I don't know how she does it.

@@cursedreact that’s what I figured! Also MissB86 is so right.. She responded to that comment very quickly about getting the wrong brace, so I doubt she gave it a chance long enough to truly know. I’m a tiny person and when I was pregnant I had carpal tunnel syndrome and had to get a brace. I tried it for just over a week and realized it wasn’t helping enough due to my hand being too small for that brace and had to get another. Thankfully the carpal tunnel went away once I had my baby! 😅
She always puts the labels up the cart. I would bet she is fishing for sponsorship or swag from every manufacturer.
I also agree with other posters that she has no respect for food. Shaking the boxes of pasta will break it.
She has no cooking skills. Making muffins from boxed mixes isn’t baking. It is pantry eating when you are sick or snowed in or short on funds.
We live in Vegas and the food here is frankly awful. It is all trucked in and the fruit and vegetables are either over-ripe or are hard and never ripen. Food goes bad quickly bc of the low humidity which weird right?

I have some fun torture for you! Go back in her really old videos 12 kids before the additional 2 arrived and you can see in the frozen section she used to buy a lot of lactose free ice cream and would say she needs to because some of the kids are lactose intolerance
Also walmart carries a massive amount of lactose free milk and in a lot of her past hauls she has bought almond breeze and said the kids tried and didn't like silk which is a lactose free brand

Oh yes and shake and pour pancake mix is awesome if you are going camping. It’s dry pancake mix in a Dhaka or container you just add purified water or milk and cook them. I don’t eat pancakes at home hardly ever but at home I use cousin T’s gourmet pancake mix and pure maple syrup. But camping it’s too complicated so we use the shake and pour pancake mix.

Like groceries only one day and another day i normally do Walmart pickup for household items and random things we need. I don’t think her kids are even lactose intolerant. Most humans naturally and shouldn’t consume dairy anyway.
But I think it’s mostly down to them apparently having diagnosed gastroparesis, amongst other gut issues( which is crazy with all the junk she feeds them).
Yet she buys almond milk? But feeds them dairy in every other capacity. Nothing she does ever matches up or makes sense.

I know back in the day Walmart would put a limit on what people spend in their stores. So if you went over that limit the cashier would have to get a manager over to basically make you leave your stuff and go even though you had money to pay for it all. It was ridiculous back in the day for that.
She used the same card, because the last 4 digits were the same. But if Walmart still has that certain limit, then she probably ran her debit card as credit. Then the smaller order as a debit. They are both the same and take money out of the account. Just one is credited to the account and the other is debit.

I live in Philadelphia PA. My walmart opens at 7am. Like all walmarts, 20 registers, and 2 cashiers. So going at open is best. Get in and out before the crowd.
Should we tell her she can send photos to Alex of the braces and he can pick the right one? Nah. It’s no fun if she buys the right one the first time.

Is the cowboy concoction just goulash or something similar? PA Dutch here 😂 but hear me out. My hrs, always made cocoa and toast. Cocoa has to be Hersheys. Two pieces of toast with peanut butter and you dip it in the cocoa. Sometimes we would put fluff on top of the cocoa and once it softened, you dipped the peanut butter toast into it and the cocoa. It’s amazing. I think most everyone in my family still makes it for breakfast here and there.

Also, I agree about that produce. A lot of it looks like it’s wilted and looks on appetizing and some of it does lacking color and vibrancy. What doesn’t she just go to a farmers market if there’s one in her area? Of course, a lot of the things that she’s buying isn’t in season yet for the farmers market anyway, but she would have better options there. She can afford it.
I think Alicia shoulder problem is related to her vlogging her shopping hauls and lifting heavy items with one hand hand/arm for the past couple of years.

Another thing… I just get the regular sized red potatoes. Those baby ones are 3.99 a one pound bag. I can’t afford what she does. The regular sized red potatoes are 1.99 a pound. Big savings. So you chop them up a little more. She always buys like the baby carrots, and celery hearts. I buy the whole things. Half the price. But then again I am not as wealthy as Alisha!

May I know why she just throws everything in the cart and not places it gently? I agree about all that unnecessary uncomfortable noise with the plastic bags in the boxes and things being thrown into the cart. It’s like there’s no thought to how she cares for this food. I don’t know what it’s like to have a large family like that and to buy stuff like that all the time but I don’t know of any other large family that I who is responsible who is shop that way and not incorporate variety of healthy and fun foods? I’m not here to family shame anybody or shame anybody for their budget even I’m on a budget and I’m careful what I buy but I see some of that stuff and I want to cry because it’s so full of salt and sugar and abs of nutrients and I know that that has such a hard Impact on mental health and emotional health. That’s just my two cents.
