In todays reaction, I slowly descend into nauseated disbelief as the Dougherty Dozen's video, "Mom of 12 Morning Routine *Meal Prep* from earlier this month tests my faith in humanity.

I agree, when each one of my kids hit about 10, they hated personalized things.Not to mention it’s dangerous to have your child’s name on a back pack or lunch box.There are creepsters out there. This woman is a wack job. No I am not jealous, yes I have plenty of money, no I don’t have a you tube channel, no I would not get up at 5 am, fully dressed with makeup to make 3 meals for my family. Those charcuterie boards don’t look appealing. I make those for others( weddings, showers, parties) mine are done artistically and with love. I have a food prep license, we have a 3 car garage, I use the 3rd part as my kitchen. I have a walk in fridge we bought at a going out of business sale, a commercial oven ( I also do cakes and pies) I have to pull my hair back and wear a net. I am constantly washing my hands, that comes from my nursing days. I wipe the counters down with Lysol. Or Clorox wipes constantly. I give her son credit, I also wear gloves when cooking for others. Her kitchen is a mess. I get the tradwife vibe from her. Why is she always up and cooking at 5 am?
That is not real cheese. I have had the argument with friends for so many years. It’s hydrogenated oil mixed with other unpronounceable ingredients to resemble a cheese type substance.

It's worse when she makes pumpkin chocolate chip bread 😬 she dumps the entire bag of chocolate chips into the batter BEFORE using the mixer. The crunch of the chips as they lose all hope..

The woman is disgusting, she does not know how to clean and yet claims she used to be a cleaner as her job! Even the rare occasions she washes dishes she uses that one cloth for everything, she puts dish soap on, rinses it straight off again then rubs over the dish and throws it on the rack, makes you feel sick every time.
If she wanted to make banana bread in the morning. She could mix the dry ingredients together the night before and than mix it together in the morning. Also if it is 5am and she has said her kids have trouble sleeping why is she so loud in the morning
This woman lies about what time she gets up the Dad challenge podcast, called her out for being either up so early or changing the clock to say what time she wants it to say because either she gets up super early and the food or cold or she set the clock to an earlier time. Either way when she gives food to her kids it’s always cold.

I seriously doubt it's actually 5am when she's recording. It's been proven that she lies about what time she does this routine and there is video evidence that showed josh saying it was like 6:30am and she hushed him and said "noooo it's 5:25am" and I hate how she wipes the counter down and then puts the bread immediately on the wet counter 🤢
Her chickens dont care how dry and dense their bananna bread is. The kids eat cereal. She feeds everything she makes in the alleged "morning" to the chickens.
You’r approach to reacting to Alisha’s videos is an approach I haven’t seen before and honestly I’m here for it. You still treat her as the human being she is while still calling out those wtf moments. You aren’t expecting her to be perfect and call out instances where yourself (and many of us too probably) do the same. I’ve personally related to things Alisha has done too before but in many ways I don’t relate lol
Some things she does just doesn’t make any sense and is common sense for most like the chicken marinading in a standing up ziplock but I think her adhd brain is just moving so fast and in the zone she’s not actually giving much thought to things like wiping the counter with contaminated rags, not washing her hands properly etc lol I will admit it’s hard to watch those moments😬
First I can’t imagine raising so many kids. It takes a special kind of parent. With that many kids, it would be a miracle to accomplish anything with more care.
I don't think she cares how the bread turns out. She just likes playing with the hand mixer. Like a kid learning to mix ingredients for the first time.

There are measuring spoons that are adjustable. I've never checked to see how accurate they actually are, but you can get them in teaspoon and tablespoon size which is pretty neat imo.
Alicia used to clean houses for a living. She said she always wanted to be a babysitter and a housekeeper.
How could it not be chaotic to be honest. I still can’t understand doing this everyday and enjoying it hahaa seems like just a lot all the time I would be definitely making things the night before too
I’m no fan of hers but; reusable stuff with little kids? They’ll never make it home. That’s why she doesn’t have reusable drink containers. They were constantly getting lost.
so she mixed the banana bread, got them in the oven and started on the sandwiches and the clock still says 5:20!!!!
@Cursed Eye seriously she completed everything in 30 minutes....the clock moved from 5:10, when she had coffee ~ bread out of the oven at 5:48. 38 minutes from coffee to her yeah I did it jump. No way!!!
I think it just has a lot to do with her adhd, she rushes everything. I’m the same , but I’m teaching myself to slow down and do things with love , it takes time though to get used to something your not . Im realizing a lot of Alicia’s problem come from the fact she has a severe underlying ADHD problem .
Theres a video what someone did where her husband says what the REAL time was and drops her in it. Apparently she was changing the time so that it looked like she was doing everything at 5am. Anyway hello from the UK. Love your videos, new subscriber 🙂
FYI DD 100% uses plastic + paper throw away dishes, bowls etc! Also drives me NUTS she doesn’t measure ingredients for baked goods! Can’t u see her mixer just breaking 1 day soon in the bowl? Ugh but u were very very nice about it all but as u said “There’s no love” in any she makes/does!
I just found your channel & absolutely love your commentary, & I'm in agreement with the name on the lunch bag thing,my son started school this year & nothing of his is labelled on the outside all on the inside, because safety. I'm always amazed at the lunches I see because I'm in Ireland & we are not allowed to send chips, cookies,juices, chocolate, cereal/granola bars etc,we are a nut free school & healthy eating,& yoghurt not encouraged for my son's class,think that's more a mess thing than nutrition. So our lunch is kinda plain,boring as my son says 🤣
Most schools do not allow nuts. I didn’t send my children to public school for many reasons. She made the banana bread incorrectly.

Not to defend her but that type of measuring cup is what most people in the us use to measure dry ingredients. Of course also do it a bit more precisely.

I’m bothered by the cold lunch meat sitting on the counter the entire time 😮 I get so triggered by these family vloggers who go to Costco and spend $400 then leave the cold Costco items in the hot trunk while they make multiple more stops including Target! Everyone knows you get sucked into the Target vortex and it’s a 2 hour trip. I get bubble guts just thinking about cold items rotting in the trunk.

Please review their Vegas trip from last year! Ice cream before anything at buffet. Teenage girls sent to hotel pool alone in the biggest human trafficking city in the US. Copious consumption at stores! Kids taking over hot tub at pool. Casinos hate kids. But surprising the kids were pretty well behaved. I don’t know why I am watching her stuff other than makes me feel like super mom having raised three step kids full time to be great humans.

Hey kids like what they like even if it's weird to us. I spent a solid 3 years rubbing apple slices against my closed teeth to turn them into apple sauce in the privacy of my home when I was a kid. I understood it was weird enough I never did it in front of other people.
Also the triangle cut Sandwhich is for Brie because that is the way her birth mom used to cut her sandwiches so that is the way she prefers.

The standard response about something someone else eats that you personally wouldn't is usually "absolutely disgusting"! You do you! I'm 70 years old and have eaten ketchup sandwiches from being Dash's age. My favourite after school snack and I'm still eating them. Even at a cookout with everyone around me eating hamburgers and hotdogs, I would be enjoying ketchup on a bun. Not once did it enter my head to say to anyone that what they were eating was "absolutely disgusting", even though to me it was. Basically who the h- - l cares.

Reusable cutlery is understandable to most people, but supposedly they have septic issues so she does disposable everything she can.

The amount of judgment is unbelievable.
My heart goes out to that woman. It takes a certain type of individual to give these children that come with different life challenges (I.e. foster care system, and different disabilities and childhood trauma) a safe home. If soggy fruit and white bread are some of her offenses, I think these children are already doing so much better than bouncing around from home to home in our deplorable foster care system.
I couldn’t last a day in her shoes! Reusable is nice, but not practical.
These kids have an efficient, responsible adult that is not hung up on the color of the lunch bags the children take to school, or if her kids have Kraft singles or Swiss cheese.
Whatever works as long as those kids feel loved!
