100% I actually watched the entire video start to finish without skipping anything because he made it super engaging. I don't even have plans on trying to solo flawless run it anytime soon haha
now this is the kind of walkthrough i like. obviously esoterikk is a lore accurate guardian, but the speed of those play throughs is too fast to catch much of the details. this is manageable learning speed with monologue to help enforce concepts and tactics. nice work.
Another helpful tip for the last launcher in the sparrow part, once you launch let go of your boost and before you touch the ground do that side boost to either side and it’ll cancel the fall damage. I love the ultra wide!
I always take the left cannon. If you hold down on analog stick while going through launcher you get a ton of height, just jump off sparrow and land on the time extender. Gives you that extra few seconds and takes away any chance of sparrow explosions or weird bounces on landing.
I finally blocked some time off from my schedule and committed to a solo flawless run. Quite literally STUDIED this video several times while stuck in traffic and finally got the solo flawless clear. Phenomenal guide, mate.
Thanks for this video. It sparked my want to try for a solo flawless again, so I ran it last night. I ran Liar's Handshake up until Avarokk, then I swapped over to Assassin's Cowl. The sparrow run has always been my Achille's heel, but even after blowing up my sparrow once and flipping it on the last bomb, I still got it done on my first try! Went on to finish the dungeon and now I'm rocking the emblem which seems fitting for Season of Plunder.
Incredible video with impeccable and timely commentary! Not too much senseless talking and no long pauses that leave the viewer wondering what exactly is going on! Highly professional and informative!
Hey Dorvarich, just wanted to thank you for this video. I have been using your Arcstrider Assassin's Cowl build this season and greatly enjoying it (I've always been a big Dodge-Melee guy with my Arc hunter, especially during Forsaken when Liar's Handshake debuted). As I watched your video I thought, "Wow, that looked super-doable, and I'm already spec'd for it." On my lunch break, I went into Grasp just to try it out, and straight up got my Solo Flawless with one minute to spare before I had to get back to work. While I've solo'd various dungeons in the past, this was my first Solo-Flawless ever. It was a lot of fun. Thank you!
In all my hundreds of hours of playing destiny I've never done a dungeon and after watching this video it'll stay that way. These things look like the hardest, most tedious, confusing and un-fun things I've ever seen. After watching this I can safely tell myself I'm not missing out on anything good.
To be fair they're a completely different experience with a team. When running solo they do get a little tedious at times since you're doing all of the mechanics by yourself. I'd encourage you to give it a go with a fireteam
For me the problem is THIS particular dungeon. The mechanics are very tedious and the encounters, specially Fallen Shield, are very bad. If you want to try a DG I'd say to try Throne or Prophecy first, because to me they are the coolest. The solo also bumps the tediousness, but I'd say that Grasp isn't a good example of fun Dungeon (only the first playtrhough when you don't know the traps and all the stuff).
Got my 2nd flawless and will attempt PoH or Shattered Throne some other day. Saving Duality for last since I know that’ll be a real endurance test. Instead of punching the mini boss shank, you can grab 10 burdens to fill your super and use gathering storm until it dies, same for the mini boss dreg, a lot safer and deposited 20 burdens each time. Great guide as always!
Normally I watch videos like these in private (way too many recommendations otherwise) but I had to reload it on my main channel to drop a thanks!!! Great break down of what you are using, your mindset, and tips. You have what it takes to be a big name in the Destiny community if you keep this up. Best of luck!!!

I actually subbed out the Glaive for a blinding GL and used Matador (full choke, acc, LFG, 1-2) and Pardon Our Dust (blinding, ALH, Vorpal) to take advantage of the Season 19 mods. Bro, I have a feeling this series is gonna take your channel TO THE MOON BABY! PUMP THAT DORVARICH STOCK BOYS! Some of the creators leave notes in the descriptions of vids saying particle deconstruction doesnt exist atm try this, but the suggested gun is nowhere close so it doesnt do so good. Sucks if I came back a couple weeks sooner I could have walked right through the place with Particle Deconstruction LOL. when I left D2 Builds werent a thing, other then choosing exotic armor with subclass lol and I work alot now so I cant spend half my game time setting up/figuring out builds especially since the inventory system is pretty ass in this game if only you could actually use dim while in the game and not exclusive to orbit or tower. they just need to make it not work in harder content since you cant change your loadout anyway. I'm so happy to hear this, because the kinds of "guides" you're talking about are exactly what gave me the idea to try and make something more helpful. Glad you enjoyed!
Yooooooo! 💯 I’ve been primarily a void hunter since D1 but have been loving arc 3.0. That being said this is the most fulfilling and best explained video I have ever come across hands down 🙏
You're the Bob Ross of walkthroughs. Happy little one-two punch combo... oops we picked up an extra riches, no problem, just a little dump at the crystal.
I did this back before WQ on my warlock, when we had the linear fusion and fusion weaken seasonal mod, took me like 3 or 4 attempts in about 4 hours so not too terrible. Was pretty fun
I found this entire video very entertaining to watch. Went through the whole thing without skipping once. Question tho, I have all my armor masterworked to void specs… is it ok to keep them there or should I switch them to arc if I want to make my version of this build better?
You could somewhat run the build, but you'd be gimping yourself quite a bit without opening up Lucent Blade and Supercharged for this version, or Striking Light for the normal/teamplay version.
It might be that. I've also noticed it pushing bosses around a lot more, but when I'm playing with a team, my teammates are shooting where the boss was before the push, and then a moment later it teleports back there for me.
@@Dorvarich same for the servitor cannon encounter's final cannon launching you upward, was on one of my first runs and got clipped by the environment upon shooting upward to go to final boss and physics'd
Interesting to me that you consider the ogre the real test. I beat him solo without dying first try, but I can't beat the freaking sparrow flawlessly by myself :( Probably because I don't have Always on Time.
Always on Time does make the Sparrow part a LOT easier. It's possible with a regular sparrow but you have to hit more of the timer extensions and refresh it more often.
@@Dorvarich yeah there are tons of buttons. Its pretty easy. If you have to you can take the left booster at the last bomb and get the last button up there
Do what I did, it's time consuming, but if you get the first hidden chest in Vow raid with all 3 characters every week, you'll eventually have enough spoils for Always on Time. The raid is still dropping spoils, but not sure if it still will next season, if the past is any indication, eventually they will disable the spoils.
A thin sparrow are a small one like the mini sparrow or the Mario kart sparrow helps a lot with the sparrow section, still I can’t wait to get always on time eventually too
I got my solo run last week. Man had i known that the boss dps especially against phryzia was so easy with lament i would have used that instead of a linear...
I just want Bungie to give lament a catalyst with eager edge, would be amazing for one of the best swords in the game, wouldnt change its damage but it would make it awesome with utility. I actually just did this dungeon solo flawless this season with Gyrfalcon which is really fun. Did Prophecy solo flawless back in Season of the Lost with a stasis assassins cowl melee hunter build. One of the best hunter exotics for solo play especially since everything but void hunter melees are great damage and versatile

Just got my solo thanks to this.
Awsome and consise vid! Got a sub from me. Really itching to try ur arc build for hunter. Haven't ran arc in a few seasons.
Underrated vid. Lost it at the T pose 😂
T-pose is the best emote, and if you own it and don't have it equipped, you are doing Destiny wrong.
I think The lament is actually kinda bug, that's why the heavy attack whiffs and some enemies teleport behind. Great run though, thanks for sharing.
It might be that. I've also noticed it pushing bosses around a lot more, but when I'm playing with a team, my teammates are shooting where the boss was before the push, and then a moment later it teleports back there for me.
I wanna try this now, probably won’t get Flawless first attempt, but this definitely makes it look easy to solo at least
Great video look forward to more content from your channel
Great guide, i really enjoyed that you explained the thought process,. Keep it up! :)
Just remembered something: don’t stand too close to the crystals while depositing, the shards jutting out can launch and kill you.
Interesting, I've never seen that. But I 100% believe you! This game likes to get extra stupid like that sometimes.
A thin sparrow are a small one like the mini sparrow or the Mario kart sparrow helps a lot with the sparrow section, still I can’t wait to get always on time eventually too
@@LaLloronaVT I got it by getting 30 Spoils a week 🤣😭
Great video, trying this build out and loving it. What perks are you using on the Glaive?
Threat Detector/Frenzy
At the ogre part if your running this punching build, use wormhusk crown if your having trouble with survivability and liars handshake for damage
Great Video! Did it my first try after one watch! Thank you Sir!!!
Glad I could help, and congrats on the solo flawless!
Dame you made this one look so easy. Definitely gonna try it out. Thx for this great tutorial. Keep it up like this 👍
Good luck on your run!
This is awesome for next week as its on rotate thanks bro
You have my sub. I like the way you explain everything along the way. I'm going to use Lament the way you said.
Brilliant video and commentary. Take my sub
Your hunter looks dope af
Amazing how easy you made that look. My zimmerframe brain doesn’t work that fast 😂 Great guide. Thanks. 👍
You might surprise yourself! Once you get used to this build, it legitimately does make everything this easy.
VERY NICE RUN 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I got my solo run last week. Man had i known that the boss dps especially against phryzia was so easy with lament i would have used that instead of a linear...
YOU ARE THE BEST thank you so much for this build and tutorial :)
This guide got me gjallarhorn, thank you so much
Nice run. Which perks did you run on the Glaive?
Subscribed, like the proper commentary
It took some time but thanks for helping me solo my first dungeon
really good vid. the build and guide were impressive thank you
I just want Bungie to give lament a catalyst with eager edge, would be amazing for one of the best swords in the game, wouldnt change its damage but it would make it awesome with utility.
Oh please no, I would become hopelessly addicted to the Lament even more so than I already am.
@@Dorvarich lol we all would but it would be so nice
