I watched this last night and decided to give it a go this evening. Never tried to solo a dungeon before. Assassins cowl arc build with only wells, no CwL mods. Used witherhoard, horrors least and Taipan. Got the solo flawless my first run. Normally don't come back to videos to comment, but wanted to say thanks for the guide/tips. If anyone is on the fence about trying, just give it a go. First boss took 3 phases, final boss took 4. Be patient, you can do it!

I love seeing someone like you who puts out such great content get the traction they deserve. these guides and your build videos are so nice and helpful, I actually had never used assassin's cowl before watching your arc hunter videos and now it's one of my most used exotics. never would have thought of using it. again, keep up the work man, you're doing great ♡
Thanks so much for the support! I barely used Cowl either before this season, but all it needed to become one of the best endgame exotics was a kit like this. Some people used it with the Solar throwing knives but that build hit a brick wall in endgame content where the knives would only oneshot squishy redbars. Now it's truly endgame viable.
@@Dorvarich I used it with Shurikens on Ice Darkness, where you could semi-guarantee oneshots using the rest of the kit. Still, it was a bit fiddly, and more of a novelty build, rather than something serious. But Arc 3.0, indeed, pushed it to another level. Thanks for those vids, they made me want to go back to doing solo flawless stuff. Having only completed PoH so far (on a pre-Loreley Solar 2.0 Titan), hunter looks fun again!
Of all the videos about solo prophecy I've watched, this one has been by far the best build, showcase, and guide. Build is supreme for this dungeon and worked like a charm.

This video pretty much helped me get my first solo flawless in the game. I switched up my build a smidge though, if anyone doesn't use witherhoard I ended up using a 1-2 punch shotgun, Prosecutor (or any other auto rifle/hand canon would work well) and my crafted apex with explosive light tracking. 2 Phased Phalanx and 4 phased Kell (but could've been a 3 phase). Congrats on the solo flawless! The only one harder than this one (imo) is Duality. If you can do this you'll be able to knock out Pit, GoA, and Shattered Throne no problem.

Sir, I've never managed to even be able to take the 1st boss to the damage phase consistently, and I've lost count on how many times I have tried. The last time I've used my Hunter was on Beyond Light. I decided to try this after trying and failing every strat on my Warlock, and I'm happy to report that on the 2nd try I have killed the Phalanx Echo solo for the 1st time!!! And I would have gotten him 1st try if I didn't forget to swap super from Arc Staff to Gathering Storm. I have no words. Thank you, thank you so much!!!
Solo flawless dungeon builds for each subclass or just the three classes would be cool. These are the best in terms of hunter build/guide videos I have watched. Specifically for solo flawless dungeons. My first solo flawless was done thanks to this build.

Just wanna say thanks. I found you around the beginning of the season, when I came back from a year long break. Getting the bunny Ghost Shell has always been a goal of mine, and with your help I've not only gotten it but managed to solo flawless two dungeons, and I've solod all of them besides Duality which I don't have.
Prophecy was the first solo flawless that I did, although it was on warlock instead of hunter I was overjoyed when I finally finished it after about 2 days of trying. Love the content you put out my guy.

this is the video i wanted. I just got a Darkest Before (garbage perks) and it's way better than Horror's Least in PVP so i really want to do this dungeon solo
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the hexahedron encounter if you get a ceiling spawn for Toland you can pick which ever side of the cube doesn't have a glowing circle on it and complete that one by filling up which ever spot it faces. For instance, if you walk in and Toland is on the ceiling, look at the cube for a blank (which there should be) that is facing one of the 4 walls. If the blank is facing a dark deposit fill it with dark and it should complete that side and not make you do an extra rotation.
THANK YOU, I got to the final boss but was never able to defeat them because I just couldn’t get dark motes to spawn in the light room after the 1st damage phase.

I rarely comment on videos, but I've been following this channel since I saw the Solo Flawless videos in my recommended. I just did my first solo flawless of Prophecy, in only 6 attempts ! Thanks for the help !
Thanks for making these so easy to understand seem like patience is also part of life. Calms my anxiety. I’ve been wanting to solo flawless some of these things and I know it won’t happen the first time. Everyone else’s videos are them talking overly loud or yelling and it’s really just really annoying.
I’m like you in a similar way. I get incredibly anxious when I’m trying to do flawless anything(even strikes). I recommend doing the dungeon without flawless as your goal. Just get through it until the encounters are imprinted in your mind, like strikes are. Eventually you’ll get flawless without it being the goal
@@Kaiser8361N I just wish I had more mods. Most of the time, guys who make these videos have all the top tier mods which helps with them taking damage. Lately I’ve been buying everything that Ada brings out. Last time half of the ones came out this past week was 6-12 months ago. That’s ridiculous.
TBH I kind of appreciate the imperfections you had here. Missing some witherhoard shots, missing some melees, whatnot. It shows you're mortal and that us mortals can also achieve it. Doesn't require absolute perfection and just slowing down a bit, thinking, keeping calm is probably one of the biggest things. Thanks for the vids :)
Glad you appreciated it! You can get through these kinds of challenge runs by just being exceptionally mechanically skilled, but using solid strategy/tactics makes a lot more sense.

Finally completed this thanks to the guide, the cowl and melee strat is insane 😂 I used a different linear fusion but with patience, slowly 4 phased the boss lmao. Great guide

Best of luck with the solo flawless run! Remember, if you can solo it, you can solo flawless it. You've already done each encounter without dying, now you just have to string it together.

Awesome vid! Just wanted to point out that cleansing the top in the hexahedron doesn’t mean you have to do an extra room necessarily. The small cube in the middle (that you get lifted into after each wall completion) will have a glowing circle on each side that you’ve ‘finished’ by dunking in past rooms. When tolland is in the top you can dunk any light that corresponds to a side of the mini cube that has NOT already been finished i.e. does not show a glowing ring. If you don’t realize this and dunk a side that’s already finished, that’s the only time you’d have to do an extra room.
I used to do it that way, but then I saw that speedrunners always complain about an extra room when he's on the top. I never did any proper testing so I wasn't entirely sure if it actually cleanses the room you pass through or if it only cleanses the one that Toland wants to be next. If it cleansed any room you passed through couldn't you ignore Toland's position and just fill out the cube?

This dungeon is Bungies best work as far as a dungeons go. It was almost big free. Had a really unique setting. Best emblem/ghost reward. It didn’t have any exotic attached to it and mediocre loot but was a truly fun dungeon. And if you beat the first boss you knew the hard part was over.
I never thought I'd be able to do this but I copied your setup and soloed the first boss! I don't think Ill be going for flawless anytime soon (took me 13 tries) but Ill definitely go for the solo ghost shell. Thanks!

Just Solo Flawless prophecy with this build. Ran out of special for my fusion at the boss, switch to a glave mid way, closed the deal easy 3 phase. Storm chaser finished him
The videos resolution / wide screen view is interesting - I assume you are on PC, do you mind sharing your res settings? There is so much more view you have after the end of what I would normally see
I remember a day or two before Beyond Light dropped I spent probably 10 hours trying for a Solo Flawless on my Warlock, the closest I got was less than 10% of final bosses health and after that I was just so defeated. It's just hard for me to play carefully, I previously Solo Flawless'd Pit for my gf after I did my run, and she said she got anxiety from watching my reckless ass play lmao Think I might give it another shot with this build.
Quick tip regarding this dungeon as well as Dorvarich's upcoming run thru The Shattered Throne- If players have the Taken Spec mod, it gives a 10% damage boost against ALL Taken, from rank-and-file to bosses. The Minor/Major/Boss Specs as well as Adept Big Ones only give a 7.77% damage increase.
Your guides make everything seem so easy with your commentary added to the game play, going to try this one next. Your GoA guide really made everything easier the way you explain each encounter, thanks alot. 👍
you could sub in something like Osteo that does DOT, or something with dragonfly. Trinity Ghoul could be good, but keep in mind you will be clearing tons of adds with this bow, and you need to make sure you leave enough to go invisible and gain combination blow. Honestly, Witherhoard is absolutely worth the price from the Monuments to Lost Lights. If you can get the materials together, you should really grab it.
Yeah, I followed the video and I was doing okay. I hadn’t died whatsoever, I doing decent damage but I still died at the very end. I needed maybe 2 or 3 more shots on the final boss and as I was trying to jump to a different platform to evade the portal, my controller decided to have its stick drift act up. So it made my character stop moving mid air and right when it started to move again, it was too late for me to even grab on to the ledge.
Every time I see these vids I never understand how your damage is so damn high, you did in a few seconds what it takes all of my power weapon ammo to do XD I need help lol And I should mention I just came back after taking a long break
Question for you. How is your screen so wide compared to other YT videos? Also, the quality of the video is great. How did you get it to such a good quality?
I play on an ultrawide monitor. As for quality, I don't do anything special to it. It might be that UA-cam encodes it better when the base resolution is higher?
Besides the fact this is a very good run. (Try getting into the speedrunning community I feel you would be very good at it with practice) one question: why don’t you keep one two punch as it would be excellent against the bigger health bar mobs and would also proc the melee buff damage in the process. You brought up not enough mobs for it but there is also the fact that this dungeon is full of mobs with more health. Which one two punch is melee damage increases on hit. But up to you that’s just my opinion

I wish I could be more like you guys/gals. I tried this build and multiple runs. I can’t get pass the first boss fight. The adds swarm to me like flies! I can’t punch quick enough or even lay enough Witherhoard shots to protect me. I’m 1610 light level, Witherhoard, Plug One (Adept), and Cataclysmic. I guess solo flawless isn’t for me.

Congratson the solo flawless! You're completely right, patience is key. There are no enrage mechanics, so taking risks for speed is not worth it

This dungeon is so free using a well lock with Karnstein and a glaive.

Staying calm is huge for solo flawless runs. Panicking is the easiest way to make questionable plays and die.

This dungeon is Bungies best work as far as a dungeons go. It was almost big free. Had a really unique setting. Best emblem/ghost reward. It didn’t have any exotic attached to it and mediocre loot but was a truly fun dungeon. And if you beat the first boss you knew the hard part was over.
Finally got a solo flawless on this thing thanks to your help! This build is great, I used Acacia's > Cartesian!

I never thought I'd be able to do this but I copied your setup and soloed the first boss! I don't think Ill be going for flawless anytime soon (took me 13 tries) but Ill definitely go for the solo ghost shell. Thanks!

Just Solo Flawless prophecy with this build. Ran out of special for my fusion at the boss, switch to a glave mid way, closed the deal easy 3 phase. Storm chaser finished him
The videos resolution / wide screen view is interesting - I assume you are on PC, do you mind sharing your res settings? There is so much more view you have after the end of what I would normally see

I remember a day or two before Beyond Light dropped I spent probably 10 hours trying for a Solo Flawless on my Warlock, the closest I got was less than 10% of final bosses health and after that I was just so defeated. It's just hard for me to play carefully, I previously Solo Flawless'd Pit for my gf after I did my run, and she said she got anxiety from watching my reckless ass play lmao
Think I might give it another shot with this build.
Quick tip regarding this dungeon as well as Dorvarich's upcoming run thru The Shattered Throne- If players have the Taken Spec mod, it gives a 10% damage boost against ALL Taken, from rank-and-file to bosses. The Minor/Major/Boss Specs as well as Adept Big Ones only give a 7.77% damage increase.

you could sub in something like Osteo that does DOT, or something with dragonfly. Trinity Ghoul could be good, but keep in mind you will be clearing tons of adds with this bow, and you need to make sure you leave enough to go invisible and gain combination blow.
Honestly, Witherhoard is absolutely worth the price from the Monuments to Lost Lights. If you can get the materials together, you should really grab it.

Yeah, I followed the video and I was doing okay. I hadn’t died whatsoever, I doing decent damage but I still died at the very end. I needed maybe 2 or 3 more shots on the final boss and as I was trying to jump to a different platform to evade the portal, my controller decided to have its stick drift act up. So it made my character stop moving mid air and right when it started to move again, it was too late for me to even grab on to the ledge.

I play on an ultrawide monitor. As for quality, I don't do anything special to it. It might be that UA-cam encodes it better when the base resolution is higher?

Besides the fact this is a very good run. (Try getting into the speedrunning community I feel you would be very good at it with practice)
one question: why don’t you keep one two punch as it would be excellent against the bigger health bar mobs and would also proc the melee buff damage in the process. You brought up not enough mobs for it but there is also the fact that this dungeon is full of mobs with more health. Which one two punch is melee damage increases on hit. But up to you that’s just my opinion

I wish I could be more like you guys/gals. I tried this build and multiple runs. I can’t get pass the first boss fight. The adds swarm to me like flies! I can’t punch quick enough or even lay enough Witherhoard shots to protect me. I’m 1610 light level, Witherhoard, Plug One (Adept), and Cataclysmic. I guess solo flawless isn’t for me.
So I see your running those fusion rifles do you think running arbalest and taipan for my linears would be good or nah

Taken spec does +10% damage. Boss spec does +7.5%. Sorry if it’s already been mentioned. Ik not everyone has it but if you do have it, use it.
