If you're one solar titan with roaring flames, if you lose the throwing hammer while roaring flames is active you can still melee enemies and create sunspots by defeating them. It saved me several times because I always have trouble finding the hammer 😆 You do have to have the Sol Invictus aspect equipped. It allows scortched targets to spawn a sunspot when you defeat them
Super appreciate the full walk through, at normal speed rather than the sometimes confusing spinning/editing skips a lot of creators do that gets me all turned around. Great video, thanks!
Same here. I don’t have the time or energy, lol this gal is old and my reflexes aren’t as good as they used to. But I love how far gaming has come since the original pong 😜
@8erry i just tried to do the legend callus boss fight and the number of enemies as well as his health and shields plus the two tormentors made me die 18 times before I quit. I want something that’s challenging not impossible. I want the boots for my warlock but I can’t seem to get past the first phase. And a note for those who used the stairs: they no longer work. So they nerf everything that helps us while making it impossible for old gamers like me to get it done. It’s beyond frustrating.
@@Fiona2254 There is still a cheese method. You can get behind the stairs even further back and shoot from there and second phase you can get under the walkway and shoot at him kind of sideways.
Easily my fav video. Everythng explained calmly and thoroughly. The build explained, the encounters. Top stuff! Just tried it and was able to get through the first encounter flawless. Just gotta work on my timing.
Solid run man. That aside, we as a community need to continue shining light on this ridiculous trend of INSANE boss health.. As you said, Bungie has always maintained dungeons designed around being done solo, hence all the triumphs & rewards, sure its fun with friends but supossed to be fun and challenging solo as well. This dungeon is pretty sweet, the armor is very cool & time will tell if there are actually more secrets in the huge interim areas. That being said, now that my solo flawless is done, WHAT are they thinking with these health pools, its lazy and counter to their "design", its not that its difficult, its artificial difficulty and ends up making the experience monotonous and boring & needs be be looked at. I know im not the only one, plenty in my clan have been saying this since Spire & i just watched a video Gladd made saying basically the same thing. Maybe if we continue voicing our opinions they will actually hear us and listen.
I admire your optimism in them listening to their player base, but honestly if they would just do away with the over-shield, then the boss encounters wouldn't seem like such a chore. I too like a challenge, but endless waves, no place to hide (much), moths that do way too much damage, the aforementioned over-shield, I personally think it's too much.
Im guessing it was about a 40 minute damage phase in final boss (immaculate job by the way) even with you knowing exactly what to do. Wow. They really time sunk this Dungeon. I hate when gaming companies do stuff to boost player time when its a waste. Id rather they added another boss in the HUGE first decent puzzle area. Amazing job Man.
Great video as always. I usually clear on hunter but might go Titan this time for variety. If I do this is the template I will use so thanks for that. In the sewer area when you jump through the tubes if you go through the 4th on top it will actually drop you straight onto the bridge you had to stop and climb over to and feels just slightly safer.
Thanks so much for putting the effort forward to make this. After watching this, I felt way more equipped to go into it and perform well even with a fireteam!
Glad you enjoyed it! Maybe if they scale back the boss health bars in a future patch we'll get more players going for the triumph. It's sad seeing so many people put off just from the sheer tedium of the final boss.
@@Dorvarich Amazing video, subscribed! And yes, I agree, this is the very reason I'm not doing this dungeon solo even though I completed all others - spending an hour on just the last boss is beyond reidiculous and not fun at all
Totally going to use this guide for at least a solo run. Mostly because of all the "KWTD or get kicked" type of people. Then again if people want to join in when I can do this, just let me know where to add you later and if you see me online don't hesitate to ask. Update: When you do mention doing triple work when you're solo, I swear, Bungie has a really flawed way of trying to encourage team play by making bosses damage sponges when you put it like that.
@@m3tr0id86 Praise that. I don't put KWTD or Experience preferred unless I see it necessary. I usually put chill and mic (sometimes) for most of my posts.
@Lukiryl Typically I allow people to play how they want and I learn new methods and combinations sometimes and even tweak with stuff for experimentation. Typically I like being more unconventional whenever possible, such as using Blinding Grenades with Windego on Ghalran during the Crown of Sorrow Raid way back when around ads occasionally to blind them to cover my team. I typically get bored with the stuff everyone runs (typically leading to nerfs) and use off meta weapons that are more likely to get buffed.
@Benlowrocks they ha e less health but wayyyy shorter damage phases so it equals out. I actually did this boss in 3 less then I did on my first persys run.

Great vid/guide. One thing I can’t figure out, (not that it really matters), is my bonks on ecthar are hitting for like 103k while yours are 129k. This is with tractor and 3x roaring. Did they nerf bonk, by chance? I know it’s only like 20%~ less, but as chunky as these bosses are it makes it a 5-6 phase fight as opposed to 4-5 phase. Ah well. Anyway, keep up the great work man!
Fun fact u were mentioning wanting to find a safe spot to switch back off actium Me and my buddies found out that it seems like while ur in the Drink (the water area) it seems like no enemies can interact with u if they aren't in there (aka the first boss) and it seems like we healed faster in there so it was a good place for ducking in and out of doe switching or just staying alive. We swore more people would have noticed this yet I have not seen it mentioned in any of the videos I've watched😅
First time I have found your channel. Outstanding tutorial and great explanations for every aspect of the run, including load outs and strategies, along with the reasons your made those decisions. Another great guide from the goat, thank you once again Dorvarich for doing the work that you do. I have been farming this dungeon with my friends since yesterday, but it feels like Hunter isn't the go to for this one. Hunter can handle the first two bosses no problem, but when It comes to the final boss room, you need consistent heals up while doing damage phase because you're bombarded so much by the ads. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have that radiant damage up to lessen the amount of phases the boss needs. Also, ngl, watching you get lost was amusing. What are your thoughts on the armor sets? I think it's freaking AMAZING, it's sooo gorgeous.
I think its possible with Arc Hunter. You just need one ad to get almost fully healed. Watch All the Players solo flawless run with Arc Hunter, it really does work VERY well.
It's very much possible with Arc Hunter, but it's not what I'd recommend. Arc Hunter is FANTASTIC for everything up until damage phase on the final boss, but there it starts to run into issues with putting out enough damage while staying alive. I tried it both with and without the artifact, and the artifact does turn it into an easy fight - but I'm never going to recommend a time-limited strategy for an Easy Solo Flawless guide. And yes, I'm loving the armor sets!
@@Dorvarich hey! To clarify would you say Arc Hunter while utilizing the artifact is easier than this bonk Titan or would you still say Bonk is easier?
Also guys in my opinion the safest way to stack roaring flames when you’re in a high pressure situation or surrounded by a lot of squishy red bar ads (this saved me a few times in my flawless run when I kept missing my hammer from either enemy jukes or just nerves) is to just use your uncharged melee and punch them to death, while roaring flames is up your regular melee kills will count and either stack higher or keep the x3 going while also generating sun spots. Sol invictus is a required aspect.
@@Dorvarich I always come to your vids to watch your solo flawless commentaries and builds. They're incredibly effective. Thank you for the work and uploads
It's a secret post-Shadowkeep quest. There should be plenty of guide videos floating around for how to do it. It takes about an hour if you're following along with a guide
Hello I just returned to the game because of your videos really from the arc hunter video before.. given the health of the bosses and all which class and build u think is all rounder for the newer dungeons and thanks for all work helped me alot
Overall I find melee Arcstrider to be a very similar power level to this build. Arcstrider has better damage, but hammer Titan is better at safely dealing damage to a boss while being attacked. Overall I think hammer Titan will make for easier solo flawless runs at the moment, but this season's artifact puts Arcstrider slightly ahead for now IMO.
Easy to follow guide. Great work as always 👍🏻. We need your help on Renewal Grasps & Bleak Watcher builds for stasis Hunter and Warlock. You’re our only hope 🙏

Great run. I appreciate the explanations you give during each segment of the dungeon. As a person who never ran anything solo in thus game, what dungeon do you think is the easiest for me to start with?
Honestly a good progression for solo runs is doing them solo flawless by order of release date. The solo usually gets harder to more recently it was released, with some exceptions
Shattered Throne is the easiest. BUT I would recommend starting with Pit of Heresy instead, because it's barely more difficult than Throne while also being a lot more fun.
I switched from my Warlock as I couldn’t beat Echtar as it was taking like 6 damage phases and something would always kill me. Decided to try Titan cos’ it looked easier and I cannot get passed the 1st encounter 😂 Im just utterly terrible at landing hammer shots. Feels so slow and enemies dodge it so easily. I don’t think I’m ever going to complete this dungeon solo.
You most likely already know this but for those who don't you don't have to bonk EVERY single thing, uncharged melees count as charged ones so once you got roaring flames going those will easily handle redbars, bonks just do WAY more damage
Unkillable = clickbait - Experience with the class and the bonk titan is required. While simple in theory and apparently simple when watching experienced bonk titan users the truth is that a missed hammer can be an instant fatality as guardians wade into hordes of enemies with a false sense of security. This is one of the best solo guides on the internet however. Really enjoyed the calm demeanor, and the steady thorough gameplay.
Just Authorized Mods Melee because I didn't feel like juggling points around. I never use artifact perks for my solo flawless guides, so that they're good longer than one season.
The kinetic and energy weapons barely matter until the final boss (everything gets killed by bonk + sunspots), but the scout rifle was a deliberate choice for that one Shrieker.
Ey thank you man! I was going flawless to the 1st boss but i activate the wrong symbol so there we go flawless but i was keep going and i 4 phases the 1st boss with the tractor cannon and bonk hammer so where i was at the last Boss i forgot to make me the dps loadout you had on and my damage was bad so i died but i did it again and again and again i almost did it but got killed by that moths all the time so i was going out and i try i tomorrow or the next days again but your build is helping pretty much and its really good so thanks for that!
Does anyone else feel cheated that Starfire got nerfed but bonk titan still exists 🤣 like I used that like a crunch and farmed for the perfect weapons and then I logged in after taking a break and I quickly realized that I had been gutted but regardless I love this video he explained the encounters pretty well where I could understand and I now don't think this dungeon is ganna be that hard just time consuming bc of all the health
How is this a helpful guide and a asmr video at the same time xD Good Work! I will try it too with this build, even tho it doesn't feels as fluid on ps4 with the "throwing hammer" move. Mostly my titan uses his fists rather than his hammer, if the enemies are to close.
I don't know how controllers work but I know for a fact there's an option for it. I think you have to unbind auto melee, and then bind charged and uncharged to the same button.
Ngl, mans voice is hella soothing I fell asleep watching cuz my mans made me feel like I was being spooned, hair played with, and back rubbed by a buffed thicc dad bod blue collard man….. No homo tho. Btw I love the build 💪🏾
Thanks for the demo, going to muscle up my Titan . Tried on Warlock and got my butt handed to me, lol. I never did see the symbol needed for the statue. Is it in the first add spawn or last?
Yup I noticed that when I watched the footage back later! I didn't hear the hammer blow up because I was excited throwing exploding hammers at the boss
Double primary does spawn more heavy than using a primary and a special, for the same reason double special spawns more heavy. It's not quite as much as you get with double special though.
@@Dorvarich Thank you for answering, I wasn’t too sure, especially when I saw your vid after Esoterickk’s vid running the same weapon loadout. I suppose it comes down to comfortability? Either way, I hope to achieve my solo flawless soon.
Hey i noticed that you are able to use the hammer to bonk even in close range.. when i seem to do it it forces me into a standard melee animation is there a way to avoid that?
Awesome video! I've been debating with myself which class to run this solo with. This made a solid case for Bonk Titan. Any thoughts on using Arbalest to pop the shield then swap loadouts to an identical ability/armor loadout with Tractor Cannon? It doesn't look like this needs too many Tractor Cannon shots and that would save the whole super for boss damage.
The shield drops so quickly with Tractor + Super already that I don't think the swap is worth it. It might be optimal, but I don't think there's any practical difference here.
If you're on a keyboard make sure you have separate binds for powered and unpowered melee. On a controller, unbind "auto melee" and then double bind powered and unpowered to the same button.
Unrelated question: I love how the games looks in this video. Is this ultrawide? I know it is but it's not like super stretch.. What monitor and settings in game?

Do you recommend arby to 1 shot shield and then super for dmg? Havent soloed the dungeon yet but im curious if you could use arby forbearance and rockets for the last boss
I wouldn't recommend Arbalest for solo. It's good to oneshot the shield, but I think you'd get a lot more out of other exotics. Having one in a fireteam could be good though.
Got all the way to final boss last night solo flawless and died to moths. Never ended up beating it either as it got too late and i had to quit. I was using this same exact set up to but my damage seemed way worse for some reason. Would have taken me 7-8 damage phases probably with how my xenophage, radiant, and 3 solar surge mods were performing. Idk man
It's just such a goofy ass length I can't bring myself to waste so much time for such little reward. Grinded the first encounter solo a bunch and got some sweet gear, and only care about getting the rest of the armor. Just isn't fun how long and complicated the encounters are.
I could definitely do this run but I’m not doing this boring shit of taking down a dumb shield and doing 13mill damage. A boss shouldnt take 10+ phases. It’s ridiculous. It fake difficulty scaling and I’m not enjoying it.
Fully agree. I really hope they scale down boss HP when solo so more people go for it. If you can do 3 phases without dying you clearly know the fight.
the moths are SO rough. any idea exactly when she spawns them? it feels like they always come out of nowhere and catch me by surprise, hitting me in the back and insta killing me while im doing mechanics.
She always spawns a group at the start, and it seems that she likes to spawn them after teleporting too. I don't think there's a strict pattern to it though. Make sure to do a quick check for moths whenever you're about to do one of the symbol revealing mechanics. Once the symbols are revealed I believe she never spawns moths until after DPS.
FYI one the last enocunter, if you forgot to look for the symbol, you can go to another room to replace the buff with a different one and it'll reset the timer with the other buff!
I didn't know it would replace. That's really useful information, thanks!

It's such a fantastic kit all around. I'm honestly surprised it's been like this for so long without a nerf.
@@Dorvarich Shhhh… 😂
I switched from my Warlock as I couldn’t beat Echtar as it was taking like 6 damage phases and something would always kill me. Decided to try Titan cos’ it looked easier and I cannot get passed the 1st encounter 😂 Im just utterly terrible at landing hammer shots. Feels so slow and enemies dodge it so easily. I don’t think I’m ever going to complete this dungeon solo.
Trying this today haha love bonk titan
A Titan and their hammer is a beautiful thing
5:07 with that inhale was the first time in any of these solo flawless runs where you sounded panicked in any sort of way.
I made this as just an observation and it seemed, I guess, weird. Youre always very calm and love watching these.
Haha, I thought I was dead. That's what the healing grenade panic button is for, but I suppose it's also called a panic button for a reason!
I have strayed from the way of the Bonk for too long. It is time to go back to my roots
Amazing!
So clean with the Xenophage, i hate being on console 😢
If you miss your hammer don’t risk and just punch everything it’s not worth worrying about. That’s what I found anyway
Really cool video. What artifact settings did you use?
Just Authorized Mods Melee because I didn't feel like juggling points around. I never use artifact perks for my solo flawless guides, so that they're good longer than one season.
Dude u the man thanks soooo much
sorry if youre explained it in one part of the full video, but why the scoutrifle? why not use special?
Glad to hear you're getting good results! Sounds like you just about have it down. Just stay alert for the moths and you got this!
You can just do a normal punch on the acolytes once you get just one hammer kill. This just saves the stress of accidentally losing your hammer
How is this a helpful guide and a asmr video at the same time xD Good Work! I will try it too with this build, even tho it doesn't feels as fluid on ps4 with the "throwing hammer" move. Mostly my titan uses his fists rather than his hammer, if the enemies are to close.
You must change the controller setup in the option of the game for do First the bonk near enemy and not the fist
I don't know how controllers work but I know for a fact there's an option for it. I think you have to unbind auto melee, and then bind charged and uncharged to the same button.
@@Dorvarich holy sh*t! Thanks to both of you, i never thought i could play like this xD
But im still giving up, because its no fun to fight against Bosses with too much health all alone. Thank you anyway, it improved my playstyle ;))
One suggestion if you wanted more dps arbalest one shots shield and that sudden burst of dmg on her seems to lock her in place
what about xeno?
@@zacinnc78 Xeno is def better now, they made it to where Arbalest doesn't one-shot her shield anymore
Thank you
Ngl, mans voice is hella soothing I fell asleep watching cuz my mans made me feel like I was being spooned, hair played with, and back rubbed by a buffed thicc dad bod blue collard man….. No homo tho. Btw I love the build 💪🏾
I have a feeling this dungeon was supposed to be released during witch queen cause it’s all witch queen themed
Thanks for the demo, going to muscle up my Titan . Tried on Warlock and got my butt handed to me, lol. I never did see the symbol needed for the statue. Is it in the first add spawn or last?
36:33 baby hammer not getting picked up after the kill before the super...you can do a flawless run,but not without a flaw ;)
Yup I noticed that when I watched the footage back later! I didn't hear the hammer blow up because I was excited throwing exploding hammers at the boss
is there a reason for double primary? does it spawn more heavy
I was actually wondering that too, I know double secondary consistently spawns more heavy, but i'm not sure if double primary does too
Double primary does spawn more heavy than using a primary and a special, for the same reason double special spawns more heavy.
Unbind 'auto-melee' and bind 'charged melee' and 'uncharged melee' to the same button.
Is it just me? Every time I run Synthoceps my guy lunges forward and punches instead of throwing his hammer.
Yes, I'm on an ultrawide monitor. 3440x1440. All graphics settings maxed, but with Depth of Field, Chromatic Aberration, and Film Grain turned off.
what are the exotic arm pieces you're running
HEYYYY guys. I really NEEEED some help here. ,, I recently reloaded. All my destiny games ,witch queen. Light fall .forsaken etc etc etc then the last one came up and got as far as. 44.4% on the load screen and STOPPED. ,, been there for. 5 whole. Weeks. ,😕😕😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 ,,,,so I'm kind of stumped on what to do. ,,,, so I'd appreciate. Any ideas. ,,💡 👍😊👍😊😊
Do you recommend arby to 1 shot shield and then super for dmg? Havent soloed the dungeon yet but im curious if you could use arby forbearance and rockets for the last boss
Or an acasia instead of forbearance for the moths
I wouldn't recommend Arbalest for solo. It's good to oneshot the shield, but I think you'd get a lot more out of other exotics. Having one in a fireteam could be good though.
Use double special for more heavy ammo
Got all the way to final boss last night solo flawless and died to moths. Never ended up beating it either as it got too late and i had to quit. I was using this same exact set up to but my damage seemed way worse for some reason. Would have taken me 7-8 damage phases probably with how my xenophage, radiant, and 3 solar surge mods were performing. Idk man
I hope
Bungie doesn’t take this away from us . Titan builds are always nerfed
It's just such a goofy ass length I can't bring myself to waste so much time for such little reward. Grinded the first encounter solo a bunch and got some sweet gear, and only care about getting the rest of the armor. Just isn't fun how long and complicated the encounters are.
Just so you know the moths in the last fight only spawn with the named knight
Love it. You play like i do
As a loot goblin I am deeply offended that you didnt immediately check your loot on the first encounter and LEFT IT BEHIND!! on the second!
I trust in the Postmaster.
Does one-two punch shotgun no longer help with this build?
I have a question.. sometimes my hammer bones hit for 99k and then sometimes for 120k.. is there a way to maintain the 120k I dunno about?
Wonder if we get a solo run using guns.
the moths are SO rough. any idea exactly when she spawns them? it feels like they always come out of nowhere and catch me by surprise, hitting me in the back and insta killing me while im doing mechanics.
I think they spawn at start and everytime you get a symbol done (the part you look through ring)
So I've been killed twice by the Titan hive in where everyone says is smart cover any idea where to truly stand or how to deal with the idiot?
How do you throw hammer so close?
Yeah I even managed to come to the final boss with powerlevel 1770 that way, but the last boss was just too much for me being that low.
That's really impressive! You'll smash right through the solo flawless once you get some more levels.
@@Dorvarich not that impressive with the bonk build imo, but a lot of fun for sure 😂
Would grand overture work with this build or do I really have to go get xenophage
I haven't tried Grand Overture myself, but I can see the low projectile speed causing problems with hitting the wizard.
I MISSED YOU DADDY DORV
One two punch wastlander is very helpful tho
