at the bottom-;left of the roll20 character sheet you'll see " Show Sheet Options". They have an option to "Import Shadowdarkling JSON" . if you created your character on Shadowdarklings, you can "export as JSON" then on the roll20 character sheet- paste that JSON. click the checkbox " Confirm Import: "By checking this box, I officially swear that I want to replace my stats" then press the "Import Shadowdarkling JSON" button.
Paul, we need to talk. I need to discuss your spellcasting. It's time to give it up. You're only hurting your friends and more importantly, hurting yourself. I know this discussion is difficult, but I think it's something to consider. Do it for yourself Paul. You'll find a great improvement in your quality of role-playing.
I lost you when you selected Shadowdark RPG during the creating a game part (1:28). I'm guessing you selected that, created the game and then started the game. At that point you went to ADD a CHARACTER from the JOURNAL tab. Then you began at timestamp (1: 30). Does the PC need to be set to CRAWLER sheet?
You can find monsters, characters, terrain, etc. under the art library tab (second from left). You can upload your own monsters, purchase what you need or search the web. I think I bought mine and had some assets I could already use.
Is there a way to upload a JSON file from some of the easier character creation sites? I don't want to make the characters for my players I want to send them to a site to make their own and then send me the Json file so I can upload it
@@Sartre_Existentialist the only site I know of is shadowdarklings.net/ for Shadowdark. I have heard you can do it on DND beyond but not sure how that works.

I believe, if I am not mistaken, it's already set to CRAWLER. I have found no option to switch.
2d6 for talents, not 1d12
You are correct, my mistake.
How did you create your Monsters for the Shadowdark game in Roll20?

hi, nice video... do someone knows if it's possible to roll the damage of weapon/spell? thanks
I don’t think Roll20 has ‘active’ character sheets yet for SD. 😢
Yes, when you roll you can click the weapon or spell under the number rolled and it will give you the damage.
perfect, thanks
