My favorite method for killing a beefalo is digging red mushrooms and feeding it to them. They take 80 damage from red caps and considering they have a little bit of regen, 14 is enough to kill one beef without aggroing its friends.
Also if you guys can fight the dragonfly you have a 30% chnage of her to drop an cute lave egg. If u keep that egg in constant heat for 2 days an “extra adorable lavae” will spawn. That thing keeps u constantly hot and gives u never ending night light. U can also cook in it. Basically a portable fire. U will never need anymore winter gear is u can snatch one early. Only think is remembered to feed it charcoal or ashes otherwise the lavae will start burning your base but dw about it as long as u keep her hunger high she wont burn anything. I hope this helps EDIT: sometimes the lavae sets things from the ground on fire if she stands near them for a while. Try to not let her go in your base. She gives u an item like the chester eyebone. Drop that item before going in base so she don’t burn anything in your base. And when u go somewhere make sure u take her with u.
Have a chest full of lanterns and a chest with 8 miner hats and 1 bundle full of lightbulbs. Collect 40x4 lightbulbs at once in the muddy biome and it will last you years
I always loved the look of the game since it came out and I finally got it without any research first. I was blissfully ignorant to how hard it was. I have over 18 hours on it and only just got to my first winter... Man I got to get to learning lol
For beefalo u can craft bell for some gold and flint iirc its like 1 flint 3 gold and u can use it to lure 1 at the time with ease.. And please if u play on public server dont kill all the beef just to get horn for hat.. Winter hat + thermal is enough for winter..
@@fluxsthefirst 2,500 on my longest-running world, about 12,000 across all worlds I've participated in combined :P will never stop watching Jazzy's guides in case you didn't know, surviving 10,000 days is no more difficult than surviving 150 days :)
A helpful tip! If you need an easy way to fight frogs or warrior spiders, drop a rabbit trap. If they run into it they will be caught and you can kill them in their inventory. Happy hunting!
I would like to mention as well if u play Walter don’t pick cactus without armour. Get yourself a footbal helm EDIT: adding to the beefalo part i will suggest you build a beefalo bell. Beefalo bell costs very little and it is in the tool tab. When u use it u can claim beefalo and they will follow u. U can just use the bell on one bring it far from the heard and kill it. Then use the bell on another one and so on. It is much faster and easier if u are new to beefalo killing.
@@kevindst you gotta fo what you gotta do man :) i like how the bell never break so u can use it infinitely. Also if anyone sees this remember never kill all beefalos or else the game won’t repopulate them. Always leave at least one for the magic to happen.

I don't really mind letting my thermal stone lose durability, just fix it with a sewing kit at 13%, or just craft a new one, it's not that expensive. I like to have a chest full of therms beside a scaled furnace, 4 furnaces actually to max out the time of it being hot
Hah! Mans made four Crock pots cause one isn't enough for all those meats and greens. Meanwhile, I can't even fill the four slots in a single Crock pot. Smh.
Small thing: if travelling in winter, especially at night, deliberately walking into fire nettles and going can extend the time you have, and you won't go above 69 or so in the cold and away from fires. I also wonder how it would work with tanking deerclops, but I haven't tried it yet
There's a new Don't Starve and Terraria youtuber that gave me the advice of giving to birds the monster lasagna if I ever make mistakes to get an egg back. What do you think about it?
I've heard that too with regards to bacon eggs. If you cook 2 MM + 2 eggs there's a 50/50 chance of lasagna, and just feed it back to the bird if you get that. Cool thing is, if you get both then eat the lasagna first then the bacon eggs to heal.
I am so confused about this one thing I just can't find out how to get rid of the cursor while placing grass tufts or saplings and such the picture of the item just gets in the way of me placing and putting them perfectly can someone help
Walter is an exceptionally noob-unfriendly character, unless you think you can survive without ever fighting, or fighting and never taking any damage both of which are essentially impossible for new players lol
The farm part is really unnecessary when it is a desert base. Cactus is a vegetable and pierogi needs one which is the most important healing dish which should have been stated instead of the inefficient bacon and eggs. 2 pieces of meat and 2 eggs can be paired up with a vegetable and a filler to make 2 pierogis which is much better than making bacon and eggs giving 60 more health.
I haven't really covered too many healing crockpot dishes yet but the fact is you have a slew of additional healing options once you set up farms. Pierogi is a nice dish that I do plan to cover but you will get so many simpler options from farm plots (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, etc). Bacon eggs was covered here more as a slow-spoiling hunger dish, not primarily for healing. By that metric two pierogis would have restored one B&E worth of hunger (and less than that for Wilson). Despite your personal play style I think that early farm plots are an important food source to cover which I why I chose first Autumn to detail the process.
I am unsure what to think about this "easy" guide. What a fucking base he has on day 20! I am not able to do this... do I even have a chance to survive?
